Estimate was responsive. Required a couple of calls to get date set - in part due to a need to coordinate with another project on my end that needed to be completed prior to the fence. Once started they completed work in two days and did an excellent job. They were careful about measurements and placement of posts. I was impressed with the way they handled a change in elevation so the fencing looks very professional. Workmen were very nice and the supervisor very responsive to a couple of small little details that I requested he address. Gates appear sturdy and well constructed with good hardware. They cleaned up the site very well.I was very happy with the work and expect that the fence will hold up well.

Job was delayed a bit due to weather not cooperating. Raul Flores worked with me to select the steel screen I wanted. Team arrived to do the work late in the day than expected but they stayed after dark to ensure the work was done. Workmanship and quality were top notch and the fence looks great.

Very well. We didn't have the best weather - very rainy and cold at times. The two guys from Flores Fence were very professional, nice and worked very hard and efficient to remove the old fence, install the steel posts and build the cedar fence. We are very pleased with their work. Raul, the owner of Flores Fence, was always in communication with me and let me know when they would start and the timelines in digging post holes, city inspector, installation, etc. I would definitely hire them again.

The workers were very professional and came to the job site with all the materials that were required. They took down the damaged fence and hauled away all the debris. The new fence matched the existing portions and was completed with no problems. I will definitely call on them again should I need any fence work done.

To start they forgot my appt. so we rescheduled for 3 days later. The first day the owner and a worker showed up. Tore down the existing fence and dug all the holes and got all prep done. At the end of the day we talked about how I would like the gates to operate and what kind of handles and latches I would need. The next day 3 of his workers showed up on time and ready to work. They did an exceptional job putting up an entire 230 ft wood fence. At the end of the day I walked the property to check and make sure it was done the way I asked. I noticed the gates swung the wrong direction and didn't have the latches and locks I asked for. By no fault of his workers it just wasn't communicated to them by the owner. I called them and they sent 2 of his guys back to the house 2 days later and they completed the work. Overall the fence and quality is great. I would say they need to work on communication.

The work was good but they are very hard to get in touch with. It was a bad experience communicating. They did a good job. They workers were good. It was just contacting people in the office. No one in the office returned phone calls. It was only the salesman that kept in touch. I had a hard time finding when they were coming. The workers were professional and great.

Excellent service, professional installation, the price was great. They did all the work in a single day and cleaned everything once the work was completed. Highly recommended fencing company. Will use again. A+ in my book.

The first project was done well. I did have one lank that had a Crack in the wood which I reported but never addressed. Overall they did an excellent job. The second project they did an excellent job. I initially when they arrived they only replaced posts and did not replace the section. After pulling contract to the service was done as agreed. It may have been a communication error but the job was completed. There response and service is very good and I would recommend again.

Wilfredo, Raul and the crew did an amazing job, and so fast! They replaced a very old fence along my north property line with a beautiful cedar one plus a couple of gates I requested to keep the dogs away from the sides of the house and AC units. They finished the whole thing in one day! Amazing!

Raul gave us the best estimate for the work we needed. He responded promptly to our call and provided the estimate the same day. His team was very polite and neat. They arrived on time and finished the job as convened. They took care of the old fence and all the debris. The fence now looks beautiful and sturdy. We are very pleased with their work and will surely recommend this company to our neighbors and friends.

Great. Work completed ahead of schedule.

At first I was hesitant. $800 seemed like a lot to repair two spans of a wooden fence. But after soliciting bids from 6 other fencing companies, this turned out to be the best price by far. And now I feel like I got a bargain! Raul Flores remembered me, even though it had been a while since my first inquiry, and was friendly and accommodating at every interaction. It's unusual to deal with a contractor who is so honest and friendly, and so willing to meet timelines. The work itself (replacing/repairing two spans of my wooden backyard fence) was done flawlessly. The workmen were able to remove the old concrete footing that was tightly wedged in between my neighbor's walkway and my weed-choked garden. They used the right combination of new lumber and material salvaged from my damaged fence to make everything look like new, matching my exact design (even though I told them that it wasn't necessary). They even repaired a broken board elsewhere on my fence, without even being asked. I will recommend Flores to anyone who has a fencing project. Thank you Raul!

They were EXTREMELY quick, honored the date they committed to, and were careful about reading my land survey. The workers that put the fence up were so polite, fast, and professional. The owner was always available to call back if I had questions when choosing the right fence.

After getting bids from 4 contractors, we decided to work with Flores Fence. Their rep Wilfredo was helpful, friendly and responsive. We obtained the work permit ourselves, and Flores was able to start the construction earlier than we had expected in the busy spring season. The 3-man crew did an excellent job, erecting a good looking custom cedar fence around our own property and our neighbor's property at the same time. They hauled off the old fence and even came back to cart off bits of debris from our garden. We had good communication throughout the process, and Vanessa in the Flores office was very helpful. Overall, a good experience-- we're happy to recommend Flores Fence.

I would start by saying that I chose Angie's List precisely because I am extremely tired of incompetent and unprofessional contractors. Yes, it's a bit more pricey, but should be worth it right ? Wrong! This is the reason why I try to do as much as possible on my own - contractors nowadays are expensive and do a lousy job. Flores fence is absolutely no exception. Raul Flores made every excuse in the book I have every heard - about 20 or 30, I felt like I am trying to keep my teenage kid in check. They never call back, they don't keep their word about pretty much anything. Had about 6-7 appointments where they were supposed to come out first thing in the AM, I wait , call them up around 10-11AM and they are like: "Oh, I am so sorry, 'input random excuse" ... we'll be out this day at that time -> same thing happens. When they installed the fence - instead of starting on Monday and taking 2 days as they said, they started Tuesday and took until Thursday. The 'crew' was one person, who even though worked really hard , was cutting corners due to the fact that was alone. Piles of dirt from the post holes was just stuffed under the fence, which I had to dig later out and I have to tell you my herniated spine disk did not appreciate that. What I later realized after the install: Flores Fence use the cheapest, worst grade cedar wood I've ever seen ( look at pictures attached ) As unprofessional as it gets they let the wood sit in pouring rain before the install ( some of which they forgot in the alley and I had to move in the yard on my own at night ) , thus the wood was fully expanded during the install, resulting in immediate gaps a week later all around the fence. Now I can clearly see my neighbor's yard through almost every gap. Some of the 2x4 have badly warped , causing the nails to be pulled out. I tried to have them come out, but again, several calls and taking days off work to wait for them - I am through with this 'company'. One of their guys actually came out after a few calls, looked at it and said - oh, well I don't have any wood to repair anything, but tomorrow someone else will come - needless to say , that never happened. I will spend my own time and materials for fixing my fence, but at least I'll know that it was done properly. If you want a professional, responsible contractor - go somewhere else. Absolutely any person can do a better job if they put a little effort and watch a couple of videos online. This experience have been a joke and marks the end of my hiring contractors attempts.

We had a wonderful experience with Flores Fences from start until finish. Raul was responsive from the moment I first called him, through the end of the build. We were happy with both the design that was presented, and the quoted cost. There were no hidden charges or complications. We needed to work our timing around the construction of a garage. Raul and his team were patient, they were candid about what their overall workload was looking like this spring. They were surprisingly quick to schedule us, once the garage was completed. When the garage's placement changed the length of our quoted fence, Raul was understanding, positive, and honest about the new cost structure. The carpentry team was quick, considerate, and tidy. The final product was exactly as we expected, and we remain extremely happy with the price. The office staff were spot-on and a pleasure to speak with. Overall- great quality, fair price, and the best interpersonal experience that we've had with a contractor.

Raul Flores was very pleasant and willing to make us completely happy. We were given an estimate that night and signed the contract immediately. He was available for any questions we had and kept us informed on a delivery date for installation. His installation crew were professional and also very polite answering my questions as they went about their work. When the job was finished, it was a complete transformation of the look of our yard! It gave us privacy, kept our dogs safe, still allows us to talk to our neighbors through the lattice work on top of the fence and really set off the look of the whole yard! It was better than we could've imagined! Even my son, who always has something negative to say about contractors, "inspected" our fence and had nothing to say. As a matter of fact, he has a 5 foot version of our 6 foot fence that he got the year before from someone else and actually likes ours better! Need I say more? It's absolutely beautiful.

Very well - the job was done quickly and the quality of our new fence is exceptional. There was one problem - they never returned our plat of survey. We tried calling several times, but after two months, have still not received it.

Best contractor I've ever dealt with in Chicago. From the estimate to the follow up call they were wonderful. The job is perfect and they didn't ruin any of my plants and even put my trellis back up again. A wonderful company to do business with. Highly recommend

The other companies I contacted would either not remove or reinstall the pavers and/or timbers. Raul assured removing and reinstalling the custom pavers was simply part of the job. And, he came up with an alternative solution to the unsightly timbers that is barely noticeable yet very functional. While the cost was a little more than the others, the planning and effort put forth was definitely well worth it! Raul said I would be satisfied and I certainly am. Great company...professional and personable. Flores Fencing goes the extra distance for its customers!

Excellent experience. All the panels were made at their shop and it only took a few days to make the posts and install the panels on over 300 feet of fence. Great job. Raul also did a great job keeping me posted and sending me pictures of the progress at the shop and on site during the installation.

My original date was moved up and completed in two days. The team was lead by Benny, and Raul even personally stopped by to check on the progress and make sure I was satisfied with everything. I love the fence and I've gotten multiple compliments from my neighbors. I would highly recommend Raul and his workers, especially Benny. Side note: Through my negligence I damaged the lock on my side gate. I called Raul and asked if he would be able to send someone out to fix it. I told him it was my fault and I of course would pay for a new one. Raul sent someone out within 2 days and replaced the lock no charge! Excellent customer service!
