Description of Work: Hall Lane contracted with North American to move all my belongings across country from NY to CA so my husband could to start a new job...promise date was given us...we padded it a week and they still managed to make this such a horrible experience for us.. I'm still trying to get claims dept to do the right thing..they were not only very late...25%of my my boxes and belongings were trashed...items unassembled, torn, ripped and stained,..crushed boxes- impaled boxes- boxes lost. If we hadn't signed the contract as TBD..when they tried to rush all our stuff inside without our ability to verify everything was there..claims dept would've tried to use that loop hole to avoid accountability. Unless you're a lawyer without a lot of time on your hands..later clear

Description of Work: The Packers were not as good as the loaders. They split up items that should have been packed together. One item was broken. I think I threw away a few items that were quite small when I unloaded the boxes. They did not put the boxes in the designated rooms consistently. Things that were obviously designated for the garage wound up in the kitchen, etc. The driver was the best of the group. Overall I am satisfied and would use them again. Having never been moved by a professional company I did not realize how quickly they would get things done and therefore it has been a little hard to unpack in a logical way due to the ill logical items they put together.

Description of Work: Moved apartment contents from East coast to West coast. The trip out nothing was broken. On the trip back a few furniture pieces were damaged, other than that everything went well. Very professional staff and timely delivery.

Description of Work: The company moved us from California to Virginia. The service was prompt and efficient, from making the first estimate to the final delivery. They gave us accurate times for pickup and delivery. They also advised us on the best and most economical way to move our automobile. Their crews proved capable at the point of departure and arrival for loading and unloading. Aside from a break on the leg of a davenport and a misplaced clamp for the bed, there was no major loss or damage. The davenport was easily repaired and the moving crew made the bed usable without the original clamp. All in all, it was a big load and it was delivered successfully.

Description of Work: North American Van Lines came out to conduct a weight/cost estimate prior to loading the items. They were very thorough and helpful. Their customer service representatives were very responsive in providing paperwork and documentation to be signed by the parties. At times I left voicemail messages and would always get a response by the following business day.

Description of Work: They helped us move from Georgia to Texas.

Description of Work: We used the A1 Freeman division of North American Van Lines. The prep and move were very good. They had great communications, great people, and were on-time as promised. The only complaint relates to unloading the van into our house. The people from Philadelphia were not nearly as careful and would drop boxes to the floor if we weren't right there.
