Description of Work: Greg came to our home, explained various options for air conditioning our 100 year old home. The crew who came to do the work was prompt, skilled, efficient and completed the work in a timely manner. They cleaned up every day. The Mitsubishi system we had installed is great! We could not have been more pleased with Greg. He is professional and friendly and did a great job at a better price than we had been quoted by others. He listened to us and his advice took our needs and preferences into account. I would recommend him without reservation.

Description of Work: After carefully consulting with my husband and me about the best replacement for our 35 year old boiler and our rusting-out water heater, Greg and his team took out the old and put in the new equipment in one long work day (they arrived around 7 a.m. and didn't leave until the work was done, at around 7 p.m.). They also installed a wall-mounted radiator in our basement. We are very pleased with the work they did and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Greg Sutor responded within an hour of my call that the furnace he installed wouldn't kick in--on a Saturday morning. A week away from its 5-year warranty expiring, it turned out to be a loose wire in the thermostat. Greg tightened a screw and didn't charge me for the doctor's visit. He has always been responsive to my calls--even before he installed the new furnace.

Description of Work: Our 30yo boiler was howling at us. I looked to buy a used one on Craigslist. Found one that had mentioned Sudor Heating and I called to see if I could hook up a deal. Never heard back from the Craigslist people but Greg Sudor came out to my house and we talked for over an hour about ALL of the different options we had - new boiler, bandaid on current boiler, central air...even down to how we could remodel around the boiler if we wanted to finish off our basement. So responsive and professional. We were quoted over 5k 5 years ago for a new boiler. We came in way under and I didn't even look for other estimates. Greg's knowledge was enough to convince me that Sudor Heating had my best interests in mind. The pilot light on our hot water heater near by went out because of the install and Greg had someone out within hours to light it again. My only complaint was the mess from the install but our basement is a pit so I think left it sort of how they found it ;) These guys are great to do business with and I will post in a year or so the note how much we are saving on our energy bill!

+ -1 moreFantastic experience. Greg Sutor's pride in his work and reputation are obvious. I feel bad because this work was completed in June of '07 and I thought I had already submitted a report. Greg went out of his way to explain how the system would work, and what its capabilities were and what performance we could expect. As we contacted him at the last minute (we were just moving in) we didn't expect much, but as my wife was 8 months pregnant Greg got to work immediately. The install went off without a hitch, and the A/C was pumping on the morning of the first 90+ degree day of the year! Fantastic work! With 100-year-old plaster and lath walls, we expected challenges with the install. There were none. The work was done so professionally that there was not one piece of plaster repair required at the end of the job! The work was clean, the installers were professional and prompt, and more important; they were friendly. This is a great operation, and the work they've done is top notch.
Description of Work: Sutor H&A installed a Unico High Velocity A/C system and air filter in our 100-year-old home. This included 8 rooms including kitchen.

+ -1 moreThe serviceman was at my home on time to do the repair. I showed him where the unit was inside and then he went right to work. He also cleaned out the drain pan for me while he was in the attic. When he left everything was working fine.
Description of Work: I had them clean and replace a part in my A/C unit for my 2600 square foot home.

+ -1 moreWe called in the early afternoon. Greg Sutor the owner got back to us at about 5:30 p.m. apologizing for the delay. We called the pager, not the office and the pager unit wasn't working. As soon as he got the message, he called back giving us two numbers to call. We called and he said he would send someone within an hour. He gave us a break on the after-hours emergency rate. Ed, the technician, came very quickly, within a half hour. He worked very diligently and fixed the problem, explaining what was wrong and why. The furnace was working beautifully by the time he left.
Description of Work: The heating unit in our tenant's apartment would ignite but would not stay on. This is during the 25 below zero cold snap. The compressor unit was frozen. The technician came and took the compressor apart, melted the ice, made other repairs and fixed the unit. It is now working perfectly.

+ -1 moreWE CALLED THESE FOLKS OUT TO PROVIDE REGULAR MAINTENANCE ON OUR UNITS. WHEN THERE WERE PROBLEMS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DETECTED DURING THE INSPECTION, THE COMPANY DID NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR AGREEMENT, OVER CHARGED US, AND THEN NEVER CALLED BACK WHEN WE WANTED TO TALK ABOUT THIS.

+ -1 moreWE CONTACTED ANOTHER COMPANY WHO WANTED TO REPLACE THE WHOLE SYSTEM. HE FIXED THE FURNACE FOR LITTLE OF NOTHING AND THE PART WAS ONLY $20. HE WILL COME AS SOON AS HE CAN WHEN YOU ARE IN A JAM AND IS EXTREMELY HONEST. HE'S JUST A GEM. I HAVE BEEN USING HIM FOR OVER TWO YEARS AND IF HE GIVES A QUOTE, HE WILL HONOR IT NO MATTER HOW OLD THE BID IS.
Description of Work: WE OWN A TWO FLAT APARTMENT AND THEY DID WORK ON A 40 YEAR OLD FURNACE.
