Empire Today - St. Louis

I used empire for a flooring installation to put tile in two bathrooms I was originally going to put linoleum in and had a quote from Lowes for the work. Empire came in with a better product and matched the price. I would use them again

They showed on time and did the work in a timely manner.

I had both kitchen tile and carpet installed with this project. I was completely satisfied with the kitchen tile install. The tile installers were professional, friendly, and satisfied my requests 100%. I would like to give a 5 star rating to the tile technicians and Empire Today, LLC for work quality, customer service, and the value for my money. Not so with the carpet installers. They left some of my furniture on the front porch, tacked my telephone line under the door jam causing the line to be cut which disabled phone service and I was charged a fee for AT&T to repair (which they could not do without causing damage to my floor and ceiling below), and the two doors were not shaved to allow them to open/close over the carpet. However, in all fairness to Empire Today, I was offered compensation for the doors which I paid to have shaved, and the technical service call fee incurred from AT&T. This was fair and I will do further projects with Empire Today. Just wanted to alert them about the third party carpet contractors errors. Otherwise, I love the tile and carpet products.

Original sales person never showed up on scheduled time had to call Empire twice, they sent another sale person that showed up 1 1/2 hours after timeframe quoted. Installers tore up the wood floor molding when removing and reinstalling it, it was cracked,broken and some pieces missing. Did not have a good experience

Very flexible with scheduling and pricing was negotiated. Never felt pressure to buy something.

The process was relatively simple. However it took 2 weeks from time of order to installation.

Excellent product, a good salesman, quality installation. The boys were a little rough with the furniture, several nicks and scratches.

The quality of carpet and pad is fantastic. Same price gets your crap at Home Depot.

The experience with the company was horrible. The carpet installers did a good job installing carpet but did damage, left mess and did not conduct themselves properly. On the other hand, the hardwood installers were wonderful. Did an amazing job. Wish I could have dealt with them only. Do not go with Empire

I love my new floor. The installation was quick and the men were very polite and helpful. I would use them again when I decide to replace carpeting in bedrooms.

They require full payment when materials are delivered. Had an issue where only half the materials were delivered and they required full payment or they would not start. Customer service was useless.

These guys were great! Gave us a great deal and they delivered on every promise! Great job!

I actually was going to install a different type of flooring but the sales rep informed me that they had a different type of flooring that was recommended for the area I was wanting this floor installed. So they made me aware of a better floor for the area and a much better warranty was available.

My experience with Empire was pro from start to finish. Good and pleasant customer service, helpful sales repre and very pro installers. I will use this company again.
