We had Frank as our sales rep and he was friendly and professional. We had found a flooring we like but my boyfriend was hoping to find one with a bit more brown in it. Frank showed us pieces he would recommend to us and without us mentioning this to him that was similar to the flooring we had selected but had more brown in it. It was exactly what we were looking for.

These guys had a lot of hidden costs to re floor my bathroom. They could not put the toilet back or the bathroom door because the new floor was higher than the old floor. I had to fix these on my own. They were much cheaper than all other bids. I could only get one other bid as the job was small.

I have a lot to say, but this site wonâ t let me dictate it. I copied and pasted this from my flabbergasted notes. I started finding more and more debris: carpet fibers, pieces of carpet pad, carpet tacks, carpet staples, drops of hot glue from their hot glue guns, messes in different places, pencil marks and smudges, especially in my bathroom, pieces of the LVP backing, and even a piece of quarter round. Then, they used my personal bath towels and TOOK them. They STOLE my personal property!!ð ¡ I talked to the Installation Manager, Ernie. He was blaming ME for daring to report a â small pile of debris.â Thereâ s so much more, but Iâ m done typing. Oh, my driveway was full of debris too. My Sales Rep, Wayne, was GREAT, and very responsive to every question and all of my disgust at the messes left behind, and that my towels were stolen. The Installation Manager did offer to come clean up, but that was Sunday at noon. I had already spent 5 hours Saturday night cleaning up 3 different rooms, and the areas around them. What if I hadnâ t cleaned up, and had stepped on any carpet tacks or carpet staples?

The salesman Wayne was great and a pleasure to have in our home. Was not impressed by how the install was handled. We had a three day project, 2 days of LVP and 1 day of carpet. The LVP crew didnâ t show up until 2pm on day 1 because they had a repair giving to them that morning. Those guys hustled but there was too much work to be done to catch up. They hustled again the second day but it was not enough time to finish so it pushed into a third day which is when the carpet was scheduled. My family had to be very creative on how to stack and stuff furniture around our second floor so there was room for the LVP crew to finish and the carpet could go down. It was a cluster. Not impressed by the baseboard installation. They didnâ t countersink and cover the nails and the corner connections were not aligned that well. I will have to finish that detail work myself. Carpet installer was a true craftsman and did an excellent job. However he didnâ t speak much English so made it difficult to communicate. Needed the help of the LVP guys to interpret. Overall the price was fair but not as impressed by the experience as I wanted to be.

Save yourself and choose another company! It took TWO YEARS to complete the job (6 rooms). Of those 6 rooms 3 needed to be completely redone. They canceled at the last minute 3 TIMES. They scratched the floors and tried to blame us when we werenâ t even in the room. During the last installment they were rude and refused to wear masks, and of course Empire has no response. They also broke a beam in my bed and my exercise machine no longer works, and again no response from Empire. It took them 2 days to complete one normal sized room bc they kept leaving to do other jobs. The contractor blames Empire and empire blames the contractors.The customer service sucks, it takes weeks to call back. Now a fourth room needs to redone bc the floor is bubbling. Please heed this warning. It is not worth the time, stress and damage to furniture. I also have to repaint one of my rooms bc of scratches on the wall.The picture below is an example of what they cover instead of fixing. I realize that Iâ m no expert on flooring but Iâ m pretty sure itâ s not ok to pretend that that is normal. THEY SAID IT IS NORMAL TO JUST COVER SPOTS LIKE THIS WITHOUT REPAIRING FIRST, and they said they cover spots like that all the time! I had to stop them and ask them to repair it and the worker told me not to complain for taking so long

It all sounded good at the beginning. The sale rep was friendly and answering all of our questions: How long would it take for a liquid spill to damage the laminate floor? (At least 10h) What is the quality of the product? (Empire produces their own high quality laminate) Do we need to uninstall the office desk? (No, the installers are used to do that and will take care of it) On the day of the installation, the staff was mad because the office desk was not taken apart. They brought the laminate floor and I noticed it was a regular brand. The installer told me that Empire does not produce the floor they install. He made me call the sales rep and both of them had a fight over the phone. The installer told him that it was always the same thing, promising people stuff that was not accurate. Since then, every liquid spill immediately damaged the floor. The first time it happened I called the company and was told the regional manager would call me, long story short, It has been 3 years and I am still waiting.
