Empire Today - Sacramento

At the beginning they gave the wrong product information. Then they said they fixed it but kept setting us up with an installation appointment with the wrong information product. Took a week for the manager to call us. I am still waiting for the floor to be done, they plan on coming to install next week. Hoping they do it right this time.

Installers did a fantastic job and completed job in a timely manner. Laminate flooring is beautiful. Dealing with the home office was a nightmare. Communication was extremely poor and delayed the job by one day. Called to get information needed to continue work and spent half a day waiting for a response. No one at any level was willing to help. One CSR did her best to assist but could get no response from the Empire Team either including the sales rep.

The only knock I have is the miscommunication I had with the scheduling.

They were prompt and kept the work space clean. Price was higher than I initially budgeted, but I got a higher quality material. Only issue was toilet leaked after new floor installed and had to be repaired twice, within weeks of completed floor.

They're so corporate they can be hard to deal with. My installation was very difficult because they had to take up my old flooring and apparently only certain installers can do that.

They didn't show up for the agreed upon install date. Very unprofessional and disruptive.

No follow up on return calls. Scheduling not promised. Not customer friendly. To small of a job for Empire.

They did a horrible job. My kitchen floor has lumps and tiles are coming up. Someone is coming to fix it from this company.

Quality and workmanship was great. The crew did have some issues showing up at agreed upon time. And salesman put down the wrong pad information and never returned my call

From estimate to installation everything was professional.

The only carpeting I have in my house is on the stairs to upstairs rooms. Installing carpeting for stairs is an art and the 2 installers knew there stuff. The also matched the pattern so it looked like a single flowing piece. They did a great job and I would recommend Empire to my friends and family.

The crew was very nice and did great work, the only downside was the time frame. They were late for every appointment. The guy who took my order put the wrong pad on the paperwork, and never returned my call. But the crew chief did make it right

Installers were great...they did an excellent job. However they were short product & the warehouse took over a week to get what was needed to finish the job. We called customer service but they were not helpful. Was supposed to get a call back in 1 to 3 days but we never got a call. Will not use again. The installer made sure the job got done but no thanks to Empire.

They do have a wide variety of products, they are on time and the Installers do a great job. However, you have to call several times to get errors fixed on paper work. Overall, I was satisfied.

Project in progress

Quoted a few different places for LVP flooring installed. Lowe's came in cheapest, then we finally contacted Empire to come out and quote us. First quote was over triple what Lowe's was, and I let the rep know there's no way we'd do it for that. She called her manager and ended up cutting the price below half of what it was, though still 30% more than Lowe's. Ended up having them throw in a baseboard install and went with them (they had a slightly better product). Installers were incredibly courteous and did an incredibly professional job. Workmanship is easily 10/10. We have been living on them for a little over two months and love the flooring. All in all, great product, great workmanship, but phenomenally expensive until you haggle. If I had the chance to go back and do it again, I would still go with Empire though I wonder how many people end up paying double what I did.

The completed Job was very nice. Some of the workers were much more competent than others. Overall I was satisfied.
