The repair crews arrived promptly as promised and professionally; protected/covered the area from dust; very thoughtful. Found a faulty part failing to close and open the flue that causing cold draft to penetrate the house in cold weather. Made some suggestions and found out the structurally our chimney is sound and ready to use Thanks. Will do business in the future again

My experience with Arthur and this company has been a great one. From the initial phone conversation to getting the job scheduled was flawless. They came out exactly when they promised and they hand cleaned all of the gutters. As part of their service, they place all the leaves in bags and tie them up and leave them in your driveway. This is to show that the work has been completed and for you to look at what was in your gutters causing them to become clogged. The price is great, and they also do other cleaning services like window washing too. I will definitely use these guys again for future services.

I don't recall the name of the energetic young man who came to our home, but we found him to be quite authoritative on chimney issues. We have a Victorian home, and we don't know if the fireplace and chimney are original but they are certainly very old. The effort to clean the chimney revealed that it needs a new lining, and that any attempt to clean it would only bring more crumbling brick into the fireplace. We did not want to spend the money on a something we never use, but we found the information to be very helpful. If we ever want to do the work, we will certainly recontact the company. If they don't do linings, I would trust whomever they would refer us to.

Everything went great. He was very good at keeping everything covered and clean as he worked and seemed very professional. He said my chimney looked to be in great shape and seemed very honest.

From start to finish, they did it all. Removed all of the contents from my garage floor and organized it in very short order. Within three hours they had the job finished.

Wonderful to work with. I bought discounted chimney cleaning through Angie's List coupon. Called to confirm appointment. Carefully covered interior workspaces to avoid getting anything dirty. Inspected chimney inside and out. Cleaned and removed interior wasp nests which were a fire hazard. Also gave quote on tuckpointing/repairing loose bricks come spring. Will definitely use again.

They did a great job. He gave me recommendations on tuck pointing for my chimney. He did the safety work neded on my chimney; he filled in the cracks that needed filling in.

They arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m. and explained to me what they would be doing. They did a great job and were extremely efficient. John even went an extra step and replaced the cover for the light on my garage door opener that had fallen off. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again in the future.

They showed up on time and they were good, they were professional. I assumed he would do the whole house but he didn't do the eaves underneath. I guess there was some sort of disclaimer about the amount of square footage. We have a small split level so seemed like everything should have been covered, but he just did the brick. So I was a little disappointed. He did give me a quote as to how much more it would be to do the other areas. I don't believe I would use them again.

I got the Big Deal for chimney sweep and inspection. Todd contacted me immediately to say he would call again in a couple of days to set the inspection date. He did and then he arrived on time. He described all the tasks he was doing and educated me on how to keep the firebox safe. After inspecting the chimney on the outside up on the roof, he suggested a moisture protection to guard against excess moisture, moss and mold from forming. I went ahead with that. He cleaned off the existing moss and then applied the protection. I really appreciated his professionalism and the explanations and education he provided. I will definitely use him again for his other cleaning services he provides such as cleaning dryer vents and windows.

The overall experiance went well, they took great care to protect my floors (even took their shoes off). Cleaned up after themselves, would certainly not hesitate using them again. For my first experiance with Angie's List, this was a good one!

Todd showed up on time, checked the exit point by the boiler, then walked across our 85 year old concrete tile roof without cracking anything (I still don't know how since they're as brittle as crackers) and checked the chimney. The verdict? The chimney was clean. He climbed down, gave us an assessment of potential issues regarding the construction as well as future concerns, then Todd told us to get a refund from Angie's List (for the pre-paid job) since he didn't actually clean anything. We've since hired him to install a new chimney cover over both chimneys since one of ours was missing when he first came out. I would, absolutely, recommend Todd and the Custom Cleaning Concepts band to anyone looking for chimney sweep services. ** On a side note, we hired a third HVAC company (Freedom Heating & Cooling) to look at our boiler, but this time we found them on Angie's List instead of a Google search. They immediately identified the "acrid smell" as "burning soot buildup" inside the boiler. They hosed out the inside of the boiler, cleaned out the burners and fired it up. The boiler is working perfectly again. They also explained and demonstrated that there was no draft issue... just a sales pitch from the "big boys" of HVAC.

They did a great job washing my 2 story house and cleaned up directly after they were finished. I will keep them in mind to power wash my deck (which is no small job) in the Spring. I wouldn't have had such a great experience if it wasn't for joining Angie's List (thank you Rush Limbaugh!). Thank you!!!

Our experience with this company was very positive. Todd and his partner even accomodated us by giving us a Saturday morning appt. The team arrived on time and worked very hard at cleaning out 25 years of stored materials from our garage. They worked very well together and with our direction, they moved materials either to the curb for pickup or back to the garage in an organized manner. Before replacing the articles, they cleaned out all the cob webs and power washed the garage floor. It is so nice to be able to walk in to my garage and not have to manuver around lawn equipment that is long past it's prime! We're grateful for this company's services and plan to use them again in the future.

When my husband got home he was very happy! He had been dreading having to do it himself. We will definitely have Custom Cleaning clean the garage next time too!

Custom Cleaning Concepts did a great job!! Todd called me to let me know when he was about 15 mins away. He arrived promptly and was very courteous to our family. He cleaned and inspected both my fireplace and chimney. Todd gave some great advice and general FYI info about fireplaces that I had not known. He found that my log lighter and gas valve had cracked because of the constant heat. He was unable to replace it due to the gas pipe needing to be replaced, so he gave me the name of another company that could assist me. Also,unlike many other service professionals, he made general conversation and told me what he was doing as he did it.
