Crew were on time despite having to drive from Skokie during morning rush hour in heavy rain. They were very hard-working, efficient and careful with our furniture. One of the guys even fixed a bookshelf that was coming apart.

Movers arrived on time, were courteous and took all the steps necessary to protect our belongings. I was pleasantly surprised by the price and service. Next time I move, I will use USA again.

Very good experience. The guys worked quickly and were careful with our furniture. All the furniture was blanket wrapped. And there's no way we could have gotten the couch into the basement of our new home without them. They confirmed the appointment the day before, and called when they were en route that afternoon. Would definitely recommend. **Above cost does not include tip; they suggest 10-15% for the team.**

I was very pleased with my move. The trucks and men arrived within the expected time. The men took care of my things ensuring that they did not damage my walls or the furniture. They were professional and courteous. If I would move again, I would call upon USA Movers.

Another great experience with USA Movers. These men are even careful about how they move around in your house-- they put things down gently and are quiet and focused on their work, which was especially nice because these were family heirlooms being passed on from my aunt to me and she was so happy with the care the movers took. They were very responsive to any request made and were done before we knew it. They disassembled the table, wrapped it carefully, then reassembled it upon delivery. As with our previous move with USA, not a scratch on anything.

Very pleased. Showed up on time with full team, worked diligently the entire time. Took extra care in packing and moving fragile items. Left a few small marks on the walls after the move, but that is to be expected with any move. Allowed us to use wardrobe boxes and return them when finished.

I was EXTREMELY happy with my entire experience with USA Moving and Storage. They were professional, courteous and FAST. They arrived at my apartment around 8:30 AM and were done unloading at the new place shortly after noon. They were very careful with belongings. I will absolutely use them again if I need to.

Movers were very hard-working, pleasant, and professional. Team leader was same for packing and moving; he was professional and easy to work with, very helpful. No noticeable damage; furniture very well wrapped and prepared, china extremely well packed with no breakage. We "tipped" generously, we thought, but were surprised that the final company paperwork encouraged a gratuity of 15%.

Santiago and his crew arrived on time and ready to work. The charges were explained to me when I made the appointment, but Santiago reviewed them again to be sure I understood the various charges, which I appreciated. The four of them were all friendly and polite, and worked quickly and carefully. They took extra care with how they handled our furniture and fragile items. All the furniture was wrapped in blankets, and the mattress and box spring was wrapped in plastic. They also packed our lamps and pictures for us and did an excellent job. Nothing was damaged or lost during the move.

I can't say enough good things about this company. The phone rep was very polite and helpful; the rep who came to estimate was excellent (and correctly guestimated the number of boxes needed to within ten boxes!); and the movers were wonderful. We have a LOT of heavy stuff including a piano that must be made out of lead. As promised, they sent six movers and two trucks; they arrived within minutes of when scheduled. The movers were polite, professional, and incredibly efficient. It took seven hours to move this vast quantity of stuff; about half the time it took to move in. The piano was quite the challenge, but they were unruffled, and even seemed amused by the challenge. The price I listed above does not include the very large tip I gave them--and they deserved it! If I move again (hope not) I would use these movers without thinking twice about it.

Showed up 20 minutes early which is always a plus! The movers worked very fast and incredibly careful. They were very careful about avoiding scratching the walls and furniture. If the boxes/items are labeled, they will stack them in the appropriate locations. I was using another moving company the same day for items in storage and that company was unable to move a couch into the second bedroom so we asked USA Moving and Storage and they were able to do it. If your looking for a professional moving company, we were very impressed by USA Moving and Storage. Price seemed high, but for the quality of work, it was worth it!

The movers arrived about an hour late, but once they were there they worked quickly. They were very thorough in covering all the furniture in moving blankets and everything was well protected. No damage was caused to the house or the furniture. They struggled to get a larger dresser down from the 2nd floor in the old house and up to the 2nd floor in the new house, but they eventually got it done. They cost a little bit more, but it was well worth it.

They moved our 2 pieces of furniture in about 40 minutes time. They were very prompt (even arrived about 10 minutes early), professional and courteous. We were very pleased with their work.

REGARDING WISCONSIN MOVE ESTIMATE: WHEN TWO SMALL, LIGHT PIECES OF FURNITURE WERE SENT TO WISCONSIN, IN PLACE OF ONE LARGE, HEAVY HUTCH, THE COMPANY BUMPED UP THE CHARGE TO WISCONSIN BY $200 OVER THE ESTIMATE GIVEN TO ME, "TO ACCOUNT FOR THE ADDITIONAL PIECE". I THINK THAT WAS UNREASONABLE. THE REST OF THE MOVE WAS UNEVENTFUL.

This is a wonderful company with excellent service. From my first call which prompted immediate follow up to the final unpacked box, we had complete professionals on this job. The move took place on the hottest day of the year and the crew never slowed down for a minute. Then there was the incident when a large armoire couldn't fit through the doors and they hoisted it(by hand)on a ladder through a window. I can't rave about these people enough. Moving is awful but if you have to do it, these are the folks to do it with. It was worth every penny. Thank you Angie's List!

Excellent....the easiest move ever. Arrived on time. Efficient and the price was what was quoted. They are the best.

We were very pleased with the movers. Santiago and his crew worked quickly and effeciently. They removed a patio door to bring in our fridge and put it back when finished. They even replaced our screws with theirs (which were better) once they were done. We received a call before they arrived and they showed up just after 1:00 p.m., when the window for their arrival was between 1:00-4:00. On the downside, the crew did leave some garbage that we cleaned up. As they were taping up the furniture they left several empty tape rolls on the floor of our apartment. At the house, when they unwrappped the furniture they left quite a bit of tape on the floor. Overall, we were pleased with our choice of movers and would feel confident in using them again.

They were prompt, professional, and quick! The move was completed in 5 hours, which included the 50 minute drive from Wilmette to Round Lake. Very reasonable rates, and they threw in wardrobe boxes and another 15 small boxes free. I would recommend them highly.

The crew was great. Everything came through without any damage. We only lost one glass during the packing process. They were very meticulous about the packing, and all the woodwork was protected. There was no damage to the house, although it was an old house with difficult access and tight stairways. The crew boss, Javier, was careful to make sure he knew what we wanted packed, and where we wanted it in the new house. They were patient with us when we changed our minds! Great experience. I would hire this company again for my next move.

The crew of 4 arrived precisely on time, the foreman walked thru each room with me to survey the move. While 2 workers began to move what they could, the other two began wrapping and protecting my breakables. I was amazed at the speed and efficiency with which they operated. No idle time, no loafing at all. Very professional and courteous. What really impressed me was that this was a very hot day, with oppressive humidity, yet they completed the move in far less time than I had estimated. I was very, very pleased and impressed. I was charged fairly for materials such as boxes and tape. The day prior to the move, I was contacted by a rep to confirm the date, time and payment options. I definitely recommend this company!

My experience with USA Movers was excellent. Everyone from the secretary who answered the initial call to the moving guys was great. The movers were extremely efficient and worked very fast. The entire move and reassembly at the new place took only 3 hours. They do use lots of wrapping tape as mentioned in prior reviews but the bottom line was nothing was damaged at all. I would highly recommend them.

What a great move and on one of the hottest days of the year too! The guys never stopped working and my move was done before I knew it. I was really disappointed in the high quote I got from another highly rated Angie's List company (and the couldn't-care-less attitude) so I tried USA and was incredibly happy with my experience from start to finish. Ilanit(my moving coordinator)and my four-man moving team were dedicated, professional, flexible and cheerful. It literally cost half of what the other company was estimating it would cost and was done hours faster than what they said too. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
