It went very well. The woman on the phone was pleasant and helpful. The movers arrived promptly, wrapped and bundled my possessions securely, and moved them out expeditiously. They were pleasant. I was pleased with the work. I don't know yet how to rate the storage because my things were just moved today.

Excellent. Responded to request promptly. Confirmed move date the day prior. Crew arrived promptly as scheduled. Lead Mover rounded with me through the house. The 4 man crew promptly began to work. Furniture was wrapped in moving blankets. The blankets were taped. (I thought the use of tape was kind of excessive - they used 80 rolls). 2 hours to pack up the old house. 20 minutes to travel. 2 hours to unpack and set up. The crew was very good, placed furniture as I requested moved boxes that were mis-sorted. They even moved some bookcases that were left by the previous owner in to the basement for me. They accepted Mastercard for payment. Provided a written receipt of services provided. I was pleased and impressed with the crew.

Very friendly, professional and efficient. I paid for four men to decrease the move time and I'm glad I did. (I used the coupon here for free boxes and that helped me to save some money. And FYI, check their website for other coupons to decide which to use. They only will take one coupon.) They worked well together, determined that taking the stairs (which were closer than the elevator) was faster (weren't trying to increase the move time to increase the bill) and didn't bother with the elevator (as far as I could tell). I told them that I had supplies which in general they used. They had wider shrink wrap and said it would take less time to wrap the couch with it so I let them. Once everything was in the truck they drove directly to storage. The whole move was done in two hours. Since everything was put in storage, I can't comment on the condition of the items after the move. However, I plan to use the same movers when I move the items to a permanent residence. Nice job. I'm pleased.

Update 3/27/2015 - Used this company again in April 2014. A different crew, and the same excellent job. This was a complicated project clearing out a six room house plus basement, moving miscellaneous objects / furniture/ boxes to the alley and furniture / boxes to the truck for another location. My recollection is that the 3 man crew spent a long half day. I was very impressed that we walked through the house once and I explained the disposition of each item --- and they remembered everything!! They worked well together and the lead guy put me at ease immediately, making an emotional move much more do-able. Sorry I did not post earlier. 2007 - involved clearing out a 5 room house with items going into the alley, moved to another location,Excellent, excellent job. I recommend these movers, and would use them myself again (although I don't want to move again for a while!) The company said they'd send four movers even before I mentioned the piano. They started working the minute they walked in, wrapped everything well, and packed everything I hadn't managed to do yet. Everything they packed was labeled with the room and that's where it went in the new place - automatically. The crew was very professional and worked steadily without a break and without any complaints for 8 hours! They worked as a team in moving the furniture and even had a little conveyor line to move boxes into the new place. I wanted to test a couple places for furniture at the new place, and they had no problem with that. They set up the bed and dining room table automatically as part of the job. Thanks to Angie's List which is how I found them. A very positive contrast to movers I used before that I picked out of the phone book.

They were very punctual, considerate, and knew what they were doing. I liked them a lot and will use them again in the future.

4 movers arrived on-time and securely packed her belongings in just under one hour. One dresser, end-table, chair, huge TV, stand, sofa chair and ottoman, clothing and 5 boxes of household goods. Drove to my house on the way to the assisted living building to drop off the huge TV. Picked up a bed and TV and delivered the goods in one piece. Total time was two hours. They charged $120 an hour for 4 movers plus $60 for travel time plus $40 for the boxes and packing tape. No problems whatsoever. They provided 15 packing boxes, no tape, which I picked up a few days earlier.

These were really good movers. We've moved several times before and have never been more pleased than with USA. They showed up on time everyday, with a large crew, did whatever we needed and stayed til they were done. They did a great job packing the boxes. Nothing was broken, not even my china and crystal, some of it antique. They were really hard workers, barely took a break and were happy all the time! I've never had movers before who didn't constantly complain. These guys were a delight. When they moved us into our new place, I had them set up the beds in the wrong rooms and also had the bedroom furniture switched. They happily changed everything. We also had them bring boxes onto our second floor condo which should have gone to the basement. It's a tortuous route to the basement, but they were happy to move everything again. We were very pleased with their service. Our next door neighbors moved about a month after us, used them and were also delighted.

They did a great job, three men showed up and moved and packed my boxes. They were careful to wrap my TV's, monitors and computers. The task took less then 1 hour to complete. Then they followed me to Park Forest, (I may add carefully) the whole job take less then 1 1/2 hour to complete. So I had the crew to go with me to Sam Club and Walmart to pickup a 32" TV and a 5 drawer chest. Which time we returned back to my place in Park Forest and delivered my stuff inside. I paid by MasterCard gave them a tip for being so help full.

The move when very smooth. Four gentlemen showed up at the scheduled time. They determined whether to us the front entrance of back entrance and moved the truck accordingly. They then set about wrapping every piece of furniture in the moving blankets and securing the blankets with tape. Once all the furniture was wrapped, they carefully carried it downstairs and loaded it into the truck. We dropped off the entertainment center at a location other than my town home. No extra charge for the additional stop. The remainder of the furniture was carefully taken into the town home without any issues. The movers were careful not to scratch walls and any other furniture that was already in the town home. They were very efficient and cleaned up all tape and moving matts once the furniture was moved in.

I think they overdid it. They charged me $500 for packing equipment like boxes, etc. They were conscientious, but not very efficient. I would only use them again if I packed everything myself.

I found them on Angies list and used them when we moved in June. They were just like the last time - really professional and right at estimate. I recommend them highly.

They did a wonderful job. They were EXTREMELY patient with my need to reschedule several times and provided helpful tips early in the process. They provided 10 free boxes about a month early (when I thought I was moving), and those boxes were very useful. The movers arrived on time, helped me corner and catch one of my cats (THANK YOU!) and were extremely careful with my junky old furniture. All four of the movers were very polite and professional. They disassembled my bed and a dresser (I believe) and reassembled them well. They were careful to ask where I wanted furniture and boxes, and they made good suggestions if I seemed undecided. I would recommend them. They're a little difficult to find; look for the Siegel's sign on Lincoln near Howard, or look back off the road for one of their moving trucks parked in the drive.

We shopped around but USA Moving and Storage gave us the best quote. They arrived punctually on moving day. They loaded all of our possessions onto their truck, drove a mile to our new house and then unloaded the truck in about 10 hours. These guys were amazing. They worked quickly, efficiently and took great care of our furniture and other valuables. I would hire them again in a nano-second.

They were faster and more efficient than I expected. Nothing was damaged and the whole thing went under my estimates. They were all very friendly as well.

Great! The crew was hard working and efficient. We thought this would be an 8+ hour job and it wound up only taking six hours. The price was very reasonable. Once all of the furniture was in the house, the guys were happy to move furniture between rooms when we changed our mind about where we wanted pieces to be placed. Excellent service. We highly recommend. We used a different company for a move in 2006 and USA was head and shoulders above their competitor.

USA Moving and Storage had given me a one-hour arrival window and arrived during the time stated. I explained the specifics of what had to be moved and where to Santiago, the crew chief. The crew went right to work without delay and continued nonstop until the move was completed four hours later. They wrapped furniture carefully and packed pictures, lamps, and glass table tops in appropriate boxes. The refrigerator could not fit through the doorway so they removed the refrigerator door to accomplish the objective. Items that were moved to the garage were stacked very neatly. Three beds were disassembled - two went to the garage while the third was taken to the apartment and reassembled. All mattresses and box springs were covered before they were moved. It has been a week since the move and we have not seen any signs of damaged or missing items. My wife complimented me on making a fine choice of movers.

These guys were the best movers I have ever used. They were on time, polite, fast and in short-very good! The move entailed 3 stops and assisting me with boxing my personal belongings too! I am a contractor, also on the list. I have already used USA Moving on a client's project. It went extremely well. More good news for USA. The building my office is in is sold and slated for demo. So, I will be using them in a few months, when I relocate my business.

It went very well. We were happy with their service, and they were very accommodating in regards to special requests.

USA was just above and beyond excellent. I have their magnet up on my refrigerator. All the guys were incredible. They were very fair and very friendly. They were also very careful and very efficient on how they spent their time. They only took a 10 minute lunch break and they ate on their feet. We had bought pizza and they kind of just ate it on the run. I had a lot of stuff and they did wonderful. We packed and unpacked, they did not. There was even stuff we did not want to take and they hauled that out to the curb for us. They did not charge us anything, but their time for that. They were very well organized and they answered their phones efficiently. I felt they were very family operated. I could not have been more pleased.

I found USA Moving on Angie's List and called them because they were highly rated and offered a coupon for fifteen complimentary boxes. I couldn't have been more pleased, four very conscientious young men (supervisor was Jose, who was great) arrived about 8:30 a.m. and worked tirelessly until 4:30 p.m. They were scrupulous about packing and wrapped each item in heavy padding, then taped the padding. There wasn't one chip or nick on any of the moved pieces. In some cases they packed tables in cardboard, then again in the padding, extremely careful. I have a three-piece glass dining room table, which has to be set up carefully so that the glass table legs are set in the correct manner. They were very patient and very conscientious about being sure it was set up correctly.

They came promptly at 8:00, a crew of 4. The supervisor asked me to take him around & explain our circumstances; we were moving out temp. for a whole house renov. Some items in a few rooms were not to be moved; no problem. A few items needed to be moved to storage in our garage, also no problem. Accented English, but clearly understood everything. They moved upright piano; clearly experienced in that. When they had the truck almost all packed, I remembered to ask them about moving our portable basketball hoop; not a necessity, but still. They said it would be hard, not having planned for it, & ingeniously tied it to back of truck. They drove slowly; no damage whatsoever. Also tried every which way to get big leather sofa in basement. Finally I said switch with other sofa. A little expensive, mainly because I ran out of time packing, so they finished kitchen, computer accessories, & misc bedroom. I offered them donuts in am; they said thanks, but no. Will hire for return.

Arrived on time, but insisted on packing furniture that no other moving company has ever insisted on packing before (I've moved 10 times in the past 15 years). This added to the amount of time it took, and the cost of the materials to pack. Everything else was great, they got everything in to the house and put it where we wanted it. I would hesitate to hire them again because of the over-packing.

Everything went according to schedule. The guys were on time both days. They worked very hard! Everything was packed neatly and safely and nothing was broken during the move.

Very professional. Arrived on time and promptly packed up the house. Thereafter, they arrived at my new place and carefully moved all the belongings in. They also moved my piano to a different location to be refinished. I was very pleased with the job.

Did everything they said they would and we were happy with their service.
