They did a great job. They were very respectful with all of our stuff while they moved it. They were very timely in getting the truck loaded and to the other house.

Everything went well, though I underestimated the quantity of materials that they would need (so that we ended up paying more than twice what I had expected, my fault, but an unpleasant discovery). We haven't unpacked the particular items yet, but the loading job was terrific.

The move went well. The crew arrived on time (8:45 am) and had the truck loaded and unloaded at my new place by noon. The truck followed me on the highway and the men took my direction as I told them where to place stuff in the new house. Overall, a positive experience with no complaints.

The receptionist who answered asked if she could call me back in a few minutes, which was okay. She eventually called me back a couple of hours later. After talking with her, I learned they would not come out to give a quote, which made me uneasy. I live in a three bedroom condo, so there was a fair amount of stuff to move. In addition to the hourly rates, it seems they nickel and dime you for everything else - tape, moving blankets, shrink wrap, etc. I also had to put my things in storage which meant I would incur additional misc. fees. I chose to go with another vendor from Angie's List.

I contacted them for a move for my company. We are renovating one of our properties and needed for them to move things out of the way and store them until we were through. The crew was waiting at the house when our staff arrived. They were fast, efficient and thoroughly professional. I called them a week before the move to say that I had discovered there would be more items than I originally talked about, but it turned out to be even worse than I thought! They were unflappable, however, and treated every piece as though it was a precious antique. At the end, they presented us with an inventory of our items. I might add that our project manager for this job was there for all of this; he is a man whose perfectionism is famously obsessive, and he was impressed with their work.

USA Moving was very responsive when I called to schedule my move. On moving day, the movers were approx 30 minutes late and I had to call to find out when the truck was scheduled to arrive. Once the moving team did arrive, they were fantastic. They moved very quickly, very carefully and wrapped the furniture when needed, not taking any chances even though everything was only going next door. In particular, they were incredible with the treadmill. Four movers up three flights of stairs and no damage to the treadmill or the apartments. I would strongly recommend this company for anyone moving within Chicago.

I met with Jerry at my house to do an inventory, get an estimate, and discuss options and prices. I have Quicken, which has a personal inventory program built-in, so I had already prepared an inventory of all my household possessions before he arrived. He was appreciative of that effort on my part. We did a quick run-through and discussion and he left after about 45 minutes. I attempted to find his DOT information online, but could only find certificates for Illinois. Since I was going to Michigan, a federal DOT certificate was required. I emailed Jerry and he gave me the number, which I discovered had been on the fed list all along, but I was searching USA instead of U.S.A. Those little dots made all the difference....!!! After comparison shopping, I decided to go with U.S.A. They scheduled a date the third week of July. About a week later I discovered that date was the same as the Custer Street Fair, which would be taking place directly in front of my house. We were able to change the date to accommodate both of us, and they showed up at 6AM as promised on the agreed upon date. Three and a half hours later, the truck was loaded and gone!!! And this included having them pack a few items which had flummoxed me, so I had left them unpacked. All furniture was completely wrapped and padded like a mummy, fragile boxes were placed on the top layer as requested, and these guys worked at warp speed. I had to beg them to take a 5-minute coffee and donut break. After our 3-hour journey to Michigan, they unpacked with the same speed and diligence, and at 4PM I handed them a cashier's check for the estimated cost, which proved to be $51.00 more than the actual cost, and they were gone in a proverbial cloud of dust. A little over a week later, I received a refund check for the extra $51.00. After I finished unpacking I was ecstatic to note that not one thing was broken, scratched, dinged or damaged in any way. Way to go!

They are worth the price. They finished quickly. I was very satisfied with their work. They were very friendly and careful with my belongings. I would hire them again in the future.

They were a pleasure to work with from the beginning to end. Price was competitive. They gave us some free boxes. They accommodated our dates and even changed the start time to accommodate our closing times. They brought 2 trucks and when recognizing we had so much stuff they got a third truck and an extra guy. The Evanston closing was delayed by one day and they held our stuff on trucks and returned the next day to move in. They made it very easy for us. There was no stress about our stuff on a day when there were many other stresses. Special kudos for Javier and his team. They were pleasant and friendly and even joked around a little with me. They were very hard working and never seemed to stop moving. They are a very well rehearsed team and it was fun to watch them negotiate big items so gracefully. They wrapped our stuff well. There was no significant damage to property or houses. We would definitely use them again.

Outstanding service. Everyone in the company I spoke with was very courteous and accommodating. On the move-out date, and again on the return-date, the movers arrived on time. Before carrying anything out to the truck, the movers carefully wrapped each piece of furniture in moving pads, which were then taped very securely in place with plastic wrapping tape. There are no charges for the moving pads, but there is a charge for the tape. In our case they used 25 roles of tape, which came to $62.50, but this is a small price to pay to make sure the moving pads don't slip off during the move. (To keep this in perspective, there was no storage fee for the week our furniture spent in their storage facility, and the company provided 15 medium-sized moving boxes for free.) The movers worked very efficiently but also with great care. You could tell they were all very experienced. The company is very professional. They send you an e-mail confirmation of your move arrangements, and the day before your move, they phone to confirm the day and time. This company takes pride in their service. If you move with them, you will know you are getting the best.

They moved everything from a fifth floor walk up to a townhome. They were fast. They were great. They didn't complain. There were four of them. They were punctual.

They arrived on time & assessed the rooms/furniture. They were professional & worked straight through without breaks. There was a 4 man crew (actually there were 5- maybe one in training) at $140/hr (2 hr minimum), 1 time truck fee of $70 (26ft truck that can move a 3 bedroom house in 1 trip), $3-6/box (we saved our 15 free boxes for them to use on taping furniture), $2/roll of tape that they use to tape boxes/pads to furniture & they actually use it to create handles to lift your furniture. We were a little nervous about the amount of tape that they used, especially after seeing someone's earlier post, but it only added up to $36 so it wasn't too bad. After 2 hours it's $35/15 minutes - which is great because you don't have to pay for the whole hour if they go over. They quickly take furniture apart as needed & wrap it to protect it. Our china cabinet & other breakables all made it to the new house intact. We were prepared for the move - it would have been much more expensive if we didn't have everything boxed & labeled before they arrived.

Santiago and his team did an excellent job. They arrived exactly at 7:30 AM (the window was 7:30 - 8:30) quickly sized up the job and got to work. We had labelled what had to be moved, and what didn't, and they had no problem picking and moving the correct stuff. Some pieces of furniture were too big to move (i.e. through doorways) but they came equipped with the correct tools to quickly disassemble these pieces (which they put back togther quickly and correctly). After moving the boxes, they wrapped all the furniture in protective blankets. They were prepared and knew how to get to the other property. Moving the stuff in, they were patient, quick, and polite, and got everything into its correct place. They assembled what needed to be assembled and were very helpful (i.e. moving a bed so we could plug in some lights). I can recommend USA Moving without hesitation. We'll be using them for our move back to our home in Glenview.

They sent four or five guys. They provided wardrobe covers and boxes. They didn't break anything and were very polite. The whole process was done in 3 hours.

Extremely well. They were courteous and thorough in their estimate of the costs of moving (including packing). Their men were really efficient and extremely careful wrapping all of our furniture, packing our kitchen, loading and unloading. We were very happy with the care they used handling our furnishings and furniture. They worked hard without breaks.

The four men who came to help us move were super human! They worked quickly and efficiently, were incredibly polite, and were ingenious in the way in which they brought up the larger items into the house. I would definitely use this company again and have already recommended it to several friends

Everything went great, from getting a thorough explanation on the pricing (it was the most reasonable received from 5 quotes), to scheduling and the actual move. The planned crew of 5 and 2 trucks arrived on time. The crew promptly appraised all of our packed boxes, unpacked misc stuff and clearly wrote down things that were not to be moved. They did a great job of packing the misc stuff that we were not able to pack ourselves. All of the furniture was wrapped nice and tight with moving pads and taped. Their additional charges for extra materials (i.e. tape, boxes) was very reasonable - I had heard horror stories from friends about other movers that charged exorbitant amounts for tape and plastic wrap used. The crew was polite and responsive and moved anything we asked, e.g. planters, cement urns and paving stones from the garden. At our new place, everything was placed exactly where we stated. Everything arrived at our new place in good fashion - nothing was broken, scratched, or dented (but this stuff usually happens on long hauls when the truck is bouncing on the highway). I highly recommend USA MOVING.

My first call resulted in my leaving a message. I was called back within a half hour. After reviewing their services, pricing, and availability, I spent no more than a day comparing to other businesses before settling on USA Moving. I had concluded that their price was going to be slightly higher than other movers I'd used in the past, but that it was likely I would get my money's worth. That all turned out to be true. A couple days before the move, USA called to confirm details and timing. My only complaint is that I was clearly told the start time would be 8:30am, but the movers didn't show until 9:00am. Not a big deal. The movers did a great job wrapping all the items to protect them from damage during the move and even packed a few additional boxes of loose items I did not have time to pack myself. Once at the destination, the 4-man crew did a great job of unpacking, taking care not to dirty the carpet or floors. The entire experience was great start to finish.

It was great from the moment they arrived! They meant business from the time they pulled up to the building until they left us four hours later with everything in our new place! Everything was moved perfectly and arrived in great condition! The guys are great, they are SUPER careful and so nice! We need to move again in a few months, and we are so relieved to have found USA Moving because we will definitely use them again!

Went very well. The four guys arrived on time, moved very quickly and were nice to boot. Entire move took about an hour.

The men arrived and within 20 minutes had all of the pre-packed boxes in the truck. Then they then began packing the furniture, and some items I had missed when packing. I heard some commotion downstairs only to find they were crating up an empty 20 gallon aquarium I'd missed in the flurry of last minute packing. I saw some other reviewers comment on the amount of tape used by the crew - and I'll confirm it was a lot of tape. However - my husband and I invested in an entire family room's worth of new wood furniture last summer and all of it arrived without even the slightest hint of having been moved. They wrapped everything solid. They even took a slate top end table that they seemed especially concerned about and created a custom cardboard crate for it. It took longer than I expected, but we had a lot of heavy boxes that had to go up three flights in the end - so I was comfortable with the final price. Hard to find a good mover - but these guys were good.

VERY PROFESSIONAL, ON TIME AND WERE VERY FAST. SINCE WE PAID BY THE HOUR, WE REALLY APPRECIATED THAT. THEY WERE VERY AFFORDABLE AND EXTREMELY NICE. THERE WERE FOUR MEN THAT HELPED AND THEY PACKED EVERYTHING VERY NICELY AND NOTHING BROKE.

The move went very smoothly. Movers were prompt, on-time, friendly, and efficient. They were very tidy and made sure that they didn't track snow and mud onto the carpet. They worked nonstop until the move was complete, and used additional packing materials only when necessary. Excellent service.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! We figured after so much snow they wouldn't arrive on time and wouldn't have a full crew. But they did! They were all very polite and efficient. Since they are paid by the hour, I was worried they would dawdle. Not the case. They even quickly shoveled the sidewalk to make things safer for them. We were so thrilled with them we bought them lunch! The only concern I had was the surcharge for wrapping the mattress and boxspring in plastic, which I saw no mention of on the company web site. I was relieved that it was only $10 for each piece, and that I wouldn't have a wet mattress. Also, they were quite liberal with the tape. And at $2/roll, that adds up fast. The contract said they don't discourage tipping, which they definitely earned. It was unclear, though, if each guy should get 10%, or if they split it amongst themselves. It was almost Christmas and we were so happy with them, I gave them each 10%. My final bill was $860.
