Partial move from a 3 bedroom condo. Only furniture was a bed, plus lots of boxes of clothes, bathroom, holiday paraphanalia, luggage, side tables, and miscellaneous. I also had them pack the entire large kitchen of service for 13: dishes, glassware, party platters, bakeware, plasticware, tons of appliances, gadgets, etc. Approximately 40 boxes including kitchen. Santiago and his 3-man crew did a fantastic job. They completed EVERYTHING, including packing, in two hours. They worked with an urgency that is unparalleled. Professional, conscientious, clean, clearly experienced, took large items around odd corners and never touched a wall, much less scratched anything. Charged me exactly what was expected (and the additional for packing paper and supplies had been explained to me by the office). Honored my Angie's List coupon for free boxes. Office was also totally on top of it - Ilanita was helpful from our initial phone conversation, even reminded me how I could call for parking permits to have space on street for truck to keep the clock moving quickly, promptly emailed information, called day before with confirmation. She recommended a 4-man crew since I had packing for them to do, and it was perfect. Went so quickly, extra charges for 4 people ended up being less overall, I'm certain. Company takes cash or money order only. I've moved a lot and this was my best experience ever. Would definitely use them again.

They were efficient and professional and did a good job with packing.

These guys are machines. They can figure a way to put a square peg into a round hole. I couldn't believe how efficient they were. They moved our entire 3 bedroom home (w/basement and tons of storage in our garage) and handled every piece with such ease. No complaints whatsoever.

It went as smoothly as any move can be expected to go. They showed up on time and worked quickly and steadily. They managed to get all of our fairly large and heavy furniture up a narrow staircase without any damage. I didn't even have to unpack my dresser drawers. I hate moving, so this wasn't fun, but they did a really good job and made the process as painless as possible.

The crew of 4 arrived on time. George led his team, and they all worked very hard to pack us up and ship us out. They did not take any breaks and were very conscientious in handling our prized possessions.

It was a team of four movers and they were very friendly, punctual, professional, and careful. Of course, with moving, one worries about breakables - especially art and flat-screen, tvs. They wrapped these items very very well and everything was delivered unscathed. They worked quickly and efficiently and, before leaving, walked through each room with me to make sure that items were in the right rooms. I wanted to move a few things to different rooms and they did it with no hesitation and no extra cost.

USA Moving and Storgae was fantastic! Crew arrived ready to go at the exact scheduled time, protected everything well, no damage, extremely professional, very hard working, made sure everything was put in the new place exactly where we wanted it. I could not imaging a better experience for moving.

USA Moving was very responsive and quickly confirmed move dates / times. They arrived on time and did a good job of moving everything out quickly, without causing any damage. My only complaint is that they don't accept credit cards - cash or cashiers check only. Since you don't know how much the bill is going to be ahead of time, it is difficult to get a cashiers check.

They were excellent. They were on time and got done sooner than we thought they would. It was one of the cheapest moves we've ever had. They did everything they said they would do and they did it lower than the estimate. Their estimate was $1,100. It was a different move because it didn't involve any driving. They moved the things from one building to the next.

It went very well starting with the estimate by Jerry. He was right on with the number of boxes we would need even though we thought it seemed like a lot and also with the quote - he gave us a higher one to account for traffic and other unforeseen conditions but told us he expected the move would take between 4-5 hours which it did (it took 4 exactly). Ilanit in the office was very helpful regarding insurance matters and a lot of other questions I had in arranging the details of the move. On the day of the move they called to say they could come earlier than what we had scheduled, if we wanted them to. A team of four movers showed up. We primarily spoke to the team leader, Jose, who was very nice. They moved everything out of our old office and into the new one very efficiently putting everything where we wanted it. They require you to pay the estimated amount on the day of the move and if the move costs less they send you the balance. We were surprised to receive the check for the balance owed to us 2 days after the move. The whole thing was seamless from start to finish.

I have moved 4 times in 5 years. USA Moving & Storage is by far superior to any of the companies I have used in the past. They were on time. They work quickly and cleanly. They know what they are doing. They came with the right equipment. They are honest and extremely professional. They were able to do in 5-1/2 hours what other companies did in 8-10 hours and they traveled farther to do it, too! AND--they did it for cheaper. Highly recommended. If you are looking for a mover, look no further!

Experiences with the service industry don't get any better than this. I called USA Moving and Storage only days before we needed them, because of some uncertainty about our closing, and they were extremely accommodating. The woman on the phone at the office was very polite, and thorough. After listening to me describe our situation, she suggested a 2nd truck, which USA provides at a mere 50 additional bucks. She recommended 5 movers, and promised me they would work hard, "I can assure you," she said, "these guys will be working non-stop." They did. I also heard her say the same to another client on the phone when I was in their office to pick up my 15 free boxes (Thanks, Angie's List!), so clearly, the diligence she was referring to was less about my particular crew, and more about a company policy. My wife is 8 months pregnant, and our move was also somewhat in doubt, so we were not entirely packed when the movers arrived punctually at 8 a.m., as promised. Javier was the crew chief, and he was QUITE good at this job. We were stressed out of our minds, and felt EXTREMELY well taken care of. The crew spent about 2.5 hours loading our packed boxes, another couple hours carefully wrapping and loading our ample furniture, and then a few hours expertly packing/loading the remainder. These guys busted a**. They were a fine-tooled machine. No wasted movement, or talk, or time. They just got it done. Get this straight: they worked non-stop, even drinking WATER while they walked, packing and loading my home from 8-4:00. They only took a dinner break after I insisted, then met me at my new home 6 miles away. They worked there as feverishly as they had been all day, another 5 HOURS. They were all polite, and friendly, and accommodating. They moved furniture around for me until I was happy, knew exactly how to take apart and put together my elliptical trainer, remembered everything I asked or told them, and made a shocking number of smart decisions without input. I'm telling you, Javier and his crew were flawless. I'd never go anywhere else, and I'll recommend them over and over. A funny note: I misunderstood the woman during the initial call. I thought that the hourly price she quoted me was for EACH mover, not all 5. Maybe I'm an idiot, but at the end of the night I was prepared to pay 4-5 times what I payed. My wife and I looked at each other while Javier was making out the bill, and said, "Well, it's a lot of money, but THEY were WORTH it." Imagine our surprise when we realized we'd gotten 13 a**-busting hours of work from 5 guys for 3K. We almost felt guilty. Kudos USA Moving & Storage. You have a loyal client for life. Notice that I took a break from unpacking a houseful of boxes to write this; it hasn't even been 24 hours. I was THAT impressed. I figured if those guys could leave me at PM and be on the job again at AM, as they were this morning, this was the least I could do.

They were scheduled to arrive between 8am and 9am. They arrived just before 9am. I was given a rough estimate, and then they went to work. They were FAST! I couldn't believe how quick these guys were. They were fast, but by no means careless. The items that they needed to wrap, they wrapped fully and carefully. I don't think a hurricane could have hurt these items the way the movers wrapped them! They packed both trucks fully and we left for the new house. The movers then began to unload the trucks. They made sure to put down floor coverings so as not to damage/soil the carpeting. They placed all of the boxes & furniture in the rooms where they belonged. They also placed and set up furniture for us, rolled out rugs, and moved items around if we asked them to. At the end of the move they were very careful to make sure that they cleaned up their floor coverings and any packing materials that were around from items they unpacked for us. Lastly they confirmed with us if there was anything else we needed them to do before they left. After that, we were given our final, total cost for the move. It was a very stress-free move, the best I've ever had.

The movers were excellent. They were fast and careful. I was quite impressed with the speed with which they worked and even more so with their care in handling everything, whether it was clearly fragile or not. They were just as quick at unloading the truck and stacking everything carefully in my new storage unit. My only issue has to do with the storage unit itself. I was given a unit that was much too large for me at a price of $185 per month. I didn't want a unit that large but they told me that they had nothing smaller available. They pointed out that I could move in more materials at no cost since the unit was already mine. But I don't have more things that I want to store. After talking with one of the owners, he agreed that they will either move my property to a smaller unit nearby or subdivide the room. In either case, beginning the second month, my payment will drop to $145. It hasn't yet been a month, so I don't know how/when/if they will honor their promise and all will go well. But I am happy so far with their willingness to work with me and their promise to take care of my one complaint. If anything goes wrong, I will amend this report.

The movers were FANTASTIC...we were really surprised to see how smoothly things went. On the morning of the move, the head mover came in to our apartment and estimated that the total move would take about 6 hours. In actuality, the move took only 4 hours - that's including a 20-minute drive time to our new home! The crew worked non-stop and they were extremely fast. Most importantly, though, they were VERY careful with our belongings. Every single piece of furniture was wrapped securely and we had no worries about any damage to our house as they moved it all in. And, after unpacking, we discovered that nothing was broken and we haven't found a single scuff mark or piece of damage to our house/doorways/hallways. Really impressive! I cannot say enough about how good they were...we will use them in the future without a doubt. The combination of how hard and fast they worked with how careful they were made our move so much easier! Note that we had packed ourselves completely before the move - our only packing supplies cost was for tape (to wrap the furniture up) and shrinkwrap for the fabric furniture.

Santiago and crew were exactly on time. They worked quickly and efficiently. They had the entire contents of my storage locker loaded on the truck in under an hour. They also unloaded everything into the new apartment in less than an hour, not an easy feat in a high rise building. Overall they were awesome to work with. I'd use them again in a heart beat.

USA Moving & Storage was a life-saver for my husband & I. We will be eternally grateful for their ability to very neatly and safely pack all of our items, with special attention given to our original artwork (all of our "unoriginal" prints were wrapped with the same care) as well as our antique furniture (many items were very, very fragile). Everything arrived in immaculate shape, which in my mind made them worth every penny. The movers were on time for both pick up and delivery, cost estimate was approximate & close (we paid for an additional mix of boxes & packing material to meet our needs- the cost estimate provided above includes all of this due to our unique moving requirements), and the crew was courteous, prompt, motivated, and professional. We would recommend USA Moving & Storage to any and everyone. Thank you USA Moving & Storage!

We couldn't have been more pleased with the service. The crew consisted of four men led by Jose. They were efficient, professional, and above all they were careful not to break anything. We had had a bad experience in our previous move, when inexperienced workers hired by our long-distance moving company did damage to our furniture and to the walls of the apartment we moved into. So we were very happy with the work done by Jose and his crew. They even put back the little non-slip rubber cups under the casters on our bed, a job I hate to do!

It was a very good experience. Nothing was damaged. They were great. The moved very large furniture up three flights of stairs.

They are great. I love the, I was having my floors redone and needed to get my furniture out of here quickly. They came in wrapped them all up and got them out of here. They brought them back today and set everything up. I didn't have a comparison in price because it was an emergency service.

Experience was great. The guys were totally professional and very responsive to all our needs. They even hauled up a huge dresser through the upstairs window because it wouldn't make it up the stairs. Made the move a much less stressful situation than it certainly could have been.

I had massive amounts of books and antiques and they were just amazing with how quickly they completed the move. They moved us from a 2-bed, Chicago(Edgewater) 2-flat to a 3-bed house in Arlington Heights in 5 hours; I doubt we would have had the truck loaded in 5 hours if we were on our own. Additionally, I broke my right hand 1 week prior to the move, and wouldn't have retained my sanity without this team.

Not well since not all of our items made it to the new residence. Makes me wonder what else didn't make it and what I haven't discovered yet. I am very upset that a huge box somehow doesn't make it on the truck. The movers left the item in the lobby, near the elevator. You would think they would do a last minute check of the residence, lobby, all areas where items were moved. But nope, one box didn't make it on the truck, which just happened to contain a high $$$ value items. I would be raising h*** if we didn't recover it.

They were very good. I liked them a lot. Their reviews were rather accurate. Everything was professionally done. I didn't have any problems at all with their services. If price was an issue, it would have definitely stuck in my mind. Apparently, their prices were reasonable. The quality of their work was excellent. Their services were great.

I can't say enough about the actual guys who showed up to do the move. They were prompt, professional, courteous, careful, and fast. Nothing but praise in this regard and perhaps that should be enough. I am compelled to mention though, the info on Angie's List for this company says (as of July 6, 2009): Licensed: Yes Bonded: Yes Insured: Yes This was an absolute prerequisite to choosing them: we wanted an insured and bonded mover. When the guys showed up, they stated that insurance beyond a very bare-bones per weight coverage would be an additional $100 over and above what the main office quoted me on the phone. I could care less about the additional cost, but the fact that this was presented to me the morning of my move I consider to be far from in line with the reviews this company has otherwise garnered on Angie's List--and frankly, I thought it was a more than a little sleazy and a lot petty. When making my reservation, I was told at least 3 times that packing tape (of all things) would be extra--but there was ZERO mention of extra cost for INSURANCE. Further, the actual insurance election form was a mess of legalese-gobbledigook. As best I could derive from the form they are self-insured with the only remedy being repair--not replacement. All this being said, there were no problems with the move itself--and again, the actual movers were terrific. The bait and switch (not sure what else to call it) on the issue of insurance was unnecessary and, frankly, ruined my experience with this company. I think most or all Angie's List members would be very happy with the movers themselves--but I do not recommend this company.
