Apart from the price, the move went very well. The movers came and packed on a Saturday then physically moved me on Sunday. They were professional, communicated well, very little downtime (which is key when paying by the hour) and generally did a good job. My one suggestion...buy your own supplies. They clearly have a VERY healthy premium in this department, particularly on boxes of wrapping paper ($50.00 per box...and it's used liberally). As a reference point, materials cost over 1/3 of the total move cost! I'd recommend these folks again for a move.

Fantastic experience. We did 90% of our own boxing and packing, or the tally would have been much higher. However, the crew from USA was world class. We have had several moves, some local, some inter-state, and this was the best. The crew was polite, professional and FAST. As their billing structure is based on an hourly rate, we expected to have to manage the crew to make sure they were not slacking off. Once I saw how well they worked, I felt guilty for ever having thought of such a thing. From beginning to end they worked very quickly and efficiently. On the delivery day, they had the opportunity to arrive earlier, so they contacted us. We're glad they did, because unpacking is the hard part, and we were glad to get going with it. I highly recommend these folks to anyone moving in Chicagoland. The one thing I will say, is that you are charged for materials (like tape!) when they move you, and they are NOT AFRAID TO USE TAPE!!! Granted, I'm glad they did, because it became obvious that the taping is a primary means of protecting our belongings and it is very effective. But, nearly $200 in tape came as a bit of a shock. If I were to do it again, I'd buy a few boxes (several dozen rolls per box) of clear moving/packing tape to have on hand when they arrive. Not a huge deal with the quality of the move, but an unexpected and surprising expense. Great work USA Moving!

We called them about a month in advance and scheduled a just in case packing/wrapping and the move for the next day. However, our closing date got moved so we did the pack and wrap about 4 days before the move. They were very accomodating of our request and we had the same crew for all three jobs. Jose was our foreman and he was very nice and did a great job getting the crew to get the work done well. All our furniture was wrapped and everything that wasn't packed yet was packed. We had extra boxes and tape which they used first before using theirs which saved us at least $400. I would recommend buying a case of tape if you are going to be moved to save money from Uline or someplace similar. The move was great, we had a 5 man crew to pack and a 6 man crew to move - it took 12 hours for the move. Nothing was borken and they set up all the furniture including mulitple IKEA desks. The move from the storage locker was a 4-man crew (same crew as we had before) and was done in 3 hours. They did a great job with all our stuff and everything was moved very well. Thanks again!

I was impressed with their initial contact and responsiveness. Move was estimated to take 7 hours (we thought it would be less) and it took about 4 hours. I found the gentlemen that moved our stuff to be quiet and professional. A minor thing I didn't care for was cleaning up their tape (stuck to random places, rolls all over floors) and packaging scraps. They put every box that we labelled in it's appropriate room, asked where I wanted things that had been in the basement (did I want items in the new attic or basement?). They moved delicate and expensive things with ease. I was impressed with how quiet, polite and attentive these guys were. The only reason I did not give an A rating across the board is that after the move was completed, I was given a verbal $850 for the move. I was prepared to give 20% tip on top of the $850 BUT, I was quoted $124/hr for the move. The move only took 4 hours and their commute probably 30 minutes from Skokie for the move. That means the move itself (without packing materials - those are an additional charge) would be $496. So, I asked the supervisor of the move to itemize the costs for me and then I would pay. My cost went from being told $850 to $685. I gave a 20% tip. I say all that to say GET THE FINAL COST ITEMIZED IN WRITING. However, I would use them again. They were otherwise dependable and professional.

My husband and I could not be happier with our experience! USA Moving and Storage arrived on time and started working immediately. They padded everything thoroughly, and took great care in moving our personal items. We hired 4 movers, as our apartment was on the 4th floor of a walk-up only building. They worked so quickly that the entire truck was loaded in about an hour. When we arrived at our new home, they took care to unload everything quickly & carefully, not a single scratch on our furniture or walls, not a single chipped dish or broken glass. They helped arrange our furniture as we wanted it and took a final inventory of all our belongings before leaving so we knew nothing went "missing." No hidden charges, the workmen were very kind and hard working and we practically had to beg them to take a water break (it was an unseasonably hot day). We will definitely use USA Moving and Storage if we move again!

These guys are perfectionists. They came on SUNDAY to pack, to make it easier to coordinate elevators on Monday, moving day. and everything was packed beautifully. Nothing broken, lost or damaged. No damage to either building. We could not believe how FAST they worked, never took a break, and it was long day!

I moved out to renovate apartment for renters. They did a good job. They are also now my storage company. They wrapped and carried everything great, and were hard working. My only complaint was that I offered some old cell phones to one of the workers, and he began to look at my other belongings.

This company was excellent to deal with. This was an unexpected move and they were wonderful about working me into their busy schedule. Altho at first only a later time slot was available they knew that the assisted living place preferred that the move in be complete before the dinner hour and they coordinated with me to make that happen. The 4 workers they sent could have not been more efficient and helpful. The best part was not only did they do fine work but they did it with a happy attitude. Have already recommended this company to a friend who is moving later this month and would certainly use them again for any of our future moves.

These guys are great! They showed up at 8 am on the dot and started working immediately. They were quick and efficient. They carefully wrapped all the furniture in blankets and then taped or shrink wrapped each piece tightly. I was especially worried about an antique china cabinet. They moved it without a scratch! Anything that wasn't in a box they boxed up for me. They put everything in the right place in the new house. I was called away for about an hour and they even got the furniture in the right place while I was gone! They unwrapped everything and reassembled a king-sized bed that had to be dismantled piece by piece. They even moved a couple of pieces of furniture that had been left behind in the new place for me. They are very professional and especially courteous. I recommend them highly!

They were very fast and professional.

They moved me from a 2 bedroom condo in the city to temporary housing in the western suburbs. They had to move items from the condo and a storage area. They moved everything into temporary storage and I was very impressed with how they well they packed the storage area. They were very efficient and the entire move took 4 hours, which includes an 1+ drive in traffic. They were so professional that I've already hired them to move me again in 3 weeks from my storage into my new house

They showed up during the promised time and the three men had the items packed and shipped in under 2 hours. Used them before and will again in about a week for my mother-in-law. Cost was $100 and hour with a 2 hour minimum plus $124 truck fee/travel time. Tape was extra at $2.50 a roll (used 6 rolls for $15). Tape was used to sucure blanets around the items.

Four pleasant and enthusiastic young men arrived. Jose was in charge. He looked over the situation, made notes and gave instructions. Within minutes of their arrival they were at work padding and taping the furniture. I have never seen such a well coordinated action. As pieces were padded by 2 men, 2 other men were removing the pieces to the truck. In just over two hours every stick of furniture was loaded into the truck--including glass-front bookcases. Two hours later the job was complete. All furniture unwrapped and placed, the beds reassembled. They never slowed down, but worked with incredible speed and yet with care. Since the cost of the move was based on hours, their efficiency saved us several hundred dollars. They were all extremely pleasant and polite. Though I hope never to move again, if I had to, I would call USA Moving and Storage without hesitation.

Outstanding experience from start-to-finish. Found company on Angie's List and checked their references. Submitted request for quote from their website and received a response within 5 minutes. During followup call, agent clearly explained their fee structure in detail, and suggested ways to ensure the move went smoothly. I then received a detailed work order and confirmation for my move date via e-mail. On the day of the move, the crew was punctual and professional, lead by Javier. We had boxed up as much as we could prior to their arrival, which helped speed things along. The crew shrink-wrapped and padded all furniture and moved the entire contents without a scratch or dent in anything. Art was packed in special heavy-duty shippers. Upon arrival to our new property, they moved everything into its proper place and re-assembled all furniture. They also offered to help us unpack, but we were so exhausted from the move that we took a pass. It was the best move I've ever had, and worth every penny.

Day One: The crew leader, Javier, was very professional and consulted with me prior to starting to so could cover the scope of the two-day move. Day one involved packing and moving services, and stops at three locations: (1) House, (2) storage unit, and (3) the new apartment, which was the final destination. Day Two: The crew showed up at yet a 4th location, our condo in the city, and packed and loaded our contents onto the truck, including a piano. Stuff from this location was being moved to the three different locations (listed above) so it was critical that they understand where everything was going and that they keep everything organized. The complicated move was conducted flawlessly: nothing was broken and despite the complexity everything ended up where it belonged. Most importantly, the team was courteous and professional. This is the second time I've used this company for a move and I will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

They packed and moved a full 2 bedroom condo which was on the third floor with no elevator. They stored it for us for 3 weeks and then moved it all into our house. Nothing was damaged and they worked incredibly fast both moving and packing. Everything was packed in paper so we could recycle the packing when we unpacked. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to move quickly and efficiently.

They have moved me several times and done an excellent job everytime. My only concern is that they don't accept credit cards which makes it difficult to have the right amount of cash on hand.

They were efficient, courteous and professional, and arrived 10 minutes early. The company also had its act together, sending us the same crew as the first time, and being very responsive and flexible regarding our scheduling preferences. The fees were clear up front and their additional costs for boxes were reasonable. Not only would we use them again, we /did/ use them again!

Ilinit, the coordinator did a great job on communicating with us and making this as painless as possible as did Jerry. Excellent work. They were very careful with breakable items. Also, did not waste time.

I called for their free in-home estimate for our move. I had to really push to get them to commit to come out. Afterwards, I decided not to use them based on their lack of service.

They arrived at the storage facility right on time. The packed up all items in 4 different storage lockers into 2 trucks. Everything that needed padding was properly wrapped and well taken care of. On arrival at the house, everything was quickly and efficiently moved into the house and distributed into different rooms as requested. Excellent job all around.

USA Moving & Storage did an outstanding job. The workers were punctual and professional. They worked hard the entire time, were very careful and easy to work with. It was clear that they had received job training and knew what they were doing. I would use the company again and highly recommend it.

We used many moving companies in the past and never had such a professional crew. All our belongings arrived safely and the crew (led by Jose) didn't leave a mark or a scratch on the new hardwood floors/newly painted walls. Overall rating A+

Everything went smoothly from the beginning. I scheduled the move with Ilianet about 10 days in advance. She handled the order easily and professionally. Javier and his team came the day before to pack and then the following day to move and unpack. This is the second time I have used this company and the second time Javier was the crew leader. I could not have been more pleased with him and the rest of the movers. If you have to move I highly recommend this company for all of their professionalism.

If moving can be made painless, this was as close as it gets. Hire them.
