Called and got the date I needed. They sent 4 men, and have the right equipment to get the job done. Very efficient.

The men worked professionally and did a good job.

They were a little more in number but the extra man made a big difference. They were able to work quickly. The job went very well overall. I packed ahead; so they were able to load up in 3 hours and unload at the building in the same amount of time.

We were happy to get Jose and his crew but judging from the other reports, all the crews seem great. I think it's a top-down thing; the management was nice and extremely helpful and that ethic is shared by the workers. First of all, they were prompt. Not sure what we expected but realized right away that they were thoughtful and kind so we knew the move(s) would go well. They were also very clever. Our old house was a large Victorian with narrow hallways and they got the furniture through with little hesitation. They worked tirelessly through the day yet were so careful and gentle with everything they touched. Once we got to the new location, they were very aware of what box went where and it was over before we knew it. They also dismantled two beds and a huge armoire that was built in sections for moving. Nothing was broken, nothing was scratched. We could not have been happier. We also tipped them heavily and we hope you do the same. Trust me; that's money well spent!

Overall they were very good. They were on-time and professional. The only hiccup was the storage facility policy had change and had not been notified. But, this was taken care of. I would use this company again.

From start to finish it went very well. They were to arrive between 7:30 and 8:30 and got there at 8:30. Very fast and very good at their job.

Everything was excellent. They were definitely the best movers that I've worked with.

The crew worked from 7am to 6pm in 95 degree weather. They never stopped working and they really did a wonderful job, really don't know how they were able to work all day in those conditions, but they did without a complaint.

They have been helpful throughout and have been very accomodating as I've had to reschedule my move date. I've picked up boxes and scheduled my move with them. Everything's been good so far.

USA Moving & Storage was fantastic! From the moment I called for an estimate until the last item came off the truck, the experience was terrific. The office staff and move staff was very courteous and professional. The movers actually seemed to enjoy their work, and loaded/unloaded very quickly and carefully. We had to re-schedule our move dates due to some closing issues, and they were very accommodating. In addition, we found out 2 days before our move that our new home would not be ready for another 3-4 weeks. I immediately asked USA about storage fees, and they agreed to let us store our belongings at their facility without charging us anything! I could not believe it. Once we moved in an unpacked, everything was in great condition. We only had one broken glass! I would definitely use them again, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers.

They showed up on time. They did a fantastic job. They didn’t damage anything. They worked really hard. There were four people who did the move. The office staff was really great and helpful. The people who were answering the phone were really helpful. They answered my questions. I would use them in the future.

It went very well. Javier had his crew arrived at our location right on time and they went to work immediately. They wrapped the furniture thoroughly and took extra care with glass cabinets and tv sets. All of the guys in the crew were pleasant and clearly knew their trade. Javier explained everything in detail and made us feel like our stuff was important.

Jerry was dead on with his ballpark phone estimate. Santiago and 5 others arrived right at 8am and had us loaded by noon. It was a hot, muggy day but these guys were fast, careful and courteous. We had a 2 hour delay at the closing so the guys had to sit until we got the keys. Three hours later, they were done. We couldn't have been more satisfied and gave each a $20 tip. We got a quote from another mover we successfully used in the past but they were about 15% higher. We found USA Moving here on Angie's and despite all the glowing reviews, we were nervous. Looking back, we are so glad we used them. A few of moving tips. Don't worry about writing the room on all sides of the box - they just need it on top. If you are packing yourself, don't worry about the big screen TV, aquarium or other hard-to-pack things. They will pack it for time/materials which is nominal. Don't have time to breakdown the bed? They will do it quickly and do yourself a favor - have them reassemble it as you will be too tired later. We had them swap out the washer/dryer and arrange the furniture. It takes them minutes as opposed to struggling by yourself later.

I have rarely dealt with people who literally amaze me with their service, but this is one company that simply blew us away. We moved a typical Evanston house with a basement, attic and garage filled with stuff--our home of 19 years. From the word "go" Jerry told us what to expect, what we needed, etc. He made everything very clear, and very easy! He kept in touch before the move, helped me keep calm about the whole thing, and when the day of the move came, WOW! Two 26-foot trucks and five men under the direction of Santiago showed up. It was the most incredible display of a combination of great delicacy and care, and enormous strength. It took them 6 hours to get everything out of the house. Then... we weren't able to close the day of the move, and had to wait until the next day. No problem. They stored everything on the trucks overnight. The next day, they moved everything in, and were so helpful, cooperative, and friendly as we said where to put everything. And when we unpacked, there was NOT ONE CHIP, SCRATCH, DENT, KNICK! This company is just incredible. I am extremely pleased with their service and their friendly, helpful attitude. Moving is stressful; this company reduces the stress big time.

The move was easily scheduled in advance and i was pleased with the communication leading up to the day. A crew of 4 was scheduled, but on the day of the move the manager called because he had a crew of 5 open early and wanted to see if we wanted to do that or just wait for the scheduled 4 guys. Went ahead and took the five guy crew at a little higher cost just to be done with it - not only because it was an hour or so earlier arrival, but the extra guy really was busting hump with things that didn't require two guys to move. There always seems to end up being more stuff than one thinks, so with an hourly rate it was a little tough to judge the final cost. However, seeing the guys work, at least I knew I was paying for work - there was nobody sitting around, the guys always working, wrapping, always busy. I'm amazed how they figured out how to fit it all on the truck. In the end, nothing scratched, no broken glass (glass patio table top had to be specially packed) or anything else. For every little thing we loaded in the car, they'd have something else padded, wrapped, and halfway on their truck. Definite professionals. Very efficient. I will 100% hire USA again if I need moving service, and have already recommended them to someone I know that's moving soon. Perfectly satisfied with the whole experience. Excellent work.

The movers were very good, punctual and hard-working. They moved in the rain and did a great job of keeping boxes/furniture dry and created a system so they didn't bring mud into the place we were moving into. Would definitely use again.

Miguel and his three man crew arrived at 7:30am and after a brief consultation began working to load out our two bedroom apartment. They worked swiftly, carefully and cheerfully. We had previously packed and boxed everything we could. They were adept at taking furniture apart like our sectional sofa and a desk unit and took care to wrap items like upholstered chairs and mattresses. They used large clothing boxes to contain the many sofa cushions and some pillows. All loose items attendant to a particular piece were taped to the piece itself. When they arrived at our home they quickly loaded in taking each item to the appropriately labeled room and exercised the same care and caution as they did loading out our apartment. They also re-assembled the sofa. The other items needing reassembly we chose to do ourselves when each room was ready. The entire move took 3 hours and the price was accurate to the conditions the company quoted to me. NOTHING WAS MISSING OR BROKEN! I recommend USA Moving and Storage in Skokie with enthusiasm and would hire them again without hesitation.

Excellent....The company was easy to contact to arrange the move, flexible with scheduling, and followed up with phone calls to verify the move in advance. At each stop in the move the driver called to let me know he was nearby. They sent 4 movers to help and they worked quickly and efficiently throughout the move. With an elevator building, having four guys was a huge help and made everything more efficient. My furniture was carefully wrapped, and everything made it to its new home safely. I was very pleased with this company and would definitely use them again.

This was the best experience we have ever had with a moving company. From the reservation phone call through the end of the move, this company was truly professional. Santiago and his moving team arrived on time, carefully wrapped all our furniture and loaded everything (Including about 200 boxes) into the moving van. They were quick, courteous and professional. We couldn't have asked for anything more. They even arranged our furniture in our new home and then double checked before they left to see if we wanted anything else moved. Just an awesome experience. To top it all they finished the job in less time than was quoted!

USA Movers is FABULOUS! From initial contact until we selected this company, all communications were prompt, clear and clearly advised us of our options and the estimated cost. Once we selected USA Movers to do the move, the experience continued to be extremely positive. The movers arrived promptly and worked diligently from 7:30 am to 10:30 pm without really any break. They were careful, considerate and the ultimate professionals. The took the utmost care to protect all furniture and belongings. In short, we cannot say enough positive things about this company!

I have used USA to move my single family home 4 times. They can do anything that I ask and make it easy for me. They brought in the electrician to remove the chandelier and coordinated it with their schedule so that I didn't have to be at the site. They made a crate and preserved the chandelier to have it stored in my garage. They remembered to bring lock cutters. They were on time. They drove straight from the city to my house unlike other movers that decide to take coffee/smoke breaks! When they arrived they rearranged a number of heavy items in my house and moved boxes to the basement for me. They smile and are polite. Jerry at the office was very easy to plan the project with. All goodness.

USA Moving was outstanding. They arrived on time, packed various items well, loaded and unloaded quickly, and were careful not to damage everything. The crew was professional and responsive. I'd definitely recommend them to others.

Movers arrived at 8am and by 10:30am they were done. Everything was done professionally - the four guys were very courteous and helpful. I packed most of my stuff - they did some extra packing of lamps, pictures, and other odds and ends. I would use them again - they made moving stress-free. If only they unpacked things, too! For the 2.5 hours and truck plus packing supplies it came to $468.

We got them through Angie's List 5 years ago and they were unbelievably good. They had got great ratings on Angie's List and we used Moving and Storage about 5 years ago as well. They were phenomenal. They were just really quick, responsible and careful with all the furniture. They were helpful because we couldn't figure out where to put the extremely heavy armoire. They moved it all around for us. We have 2 kids and they were very nice to the kids as well which was good. They were just really fast, efficient, good and cheap. They weren't that expensive but I think it was an hourly fee. They called the night before to confirm the moved but I missed the phone call; so of course I was panicking the next day to find out whether or not they were actually going to show up. When I called them, they were great on the phone telling me to relax and that they were on the way and everything was going to be fine. They were very reassuring which was good. They were on time to the minute and I don't think that is kind of necessary with moving companies.

Jerry was very knowledgeable, and gave me an appropriate time and moving cost estimate. 4 movers took 5 hours (includes travel time) to move me. They were very professional, all business, and took great care with my furniture, clothes and valuables.. They packed the truck in 1 1/2 hours and were efficient and respectful of my belongings. It was obvious they knew what they were doing. I had not moved in 38 years and was relieved to know they knew what they were doing. They arrived at the loop address and were once again efficient and professional. They were respectful of the reserved elevator time, moving time, and were willing to do any furniture assembly required, Their professionalism and expertise ended up making my moving day relatively stress free. I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to two acquaintences wo will be moving within the next 2 years.
