They did a terrific job. I originally estimated 12 registers, then called them back to say there were more like 28. Not having cleaned the ducts or registers for around 10 years things were very dirty. The house is old and some of the registers had perhaps never been removed, or cleaned. They were patient and thorough, and spent about 10 hours cleaning everything. The job turned out terrific. Don't so for lower cost providers, I'm sure they can't do as good a job. These guys have the best method! A huge vacuum and brush through every register (supply and return) does the best job!

Roger spent almost 30 minutes over the phone to explain what would be done for duct cleaning when I asked for a quote. That was a good education to me. With a very reasonable price, they thoroughly cleaned up my two furnace systems, without leaving any dust in my house. They also cleaned the dryer and replaced the dryer vent for free.

Roger and Chad are the best. We have had them for the past 7 years. They are not the cheapest but they are here for 3hrs and they do more work then even asked.

FROM START TO FINISH, PERFECT.

I had called Roger to get an estimate and inquire about the work they performed and he gave a very thorough explanation of what they do over the phone. He estimated the time it would take and the approximate cost. I liked that he asked me certain questions about my home so he could make sure the job could actually be done (such as having an open ceiling in the finished basement, windows or outdoor access to the furnace or even if the wood floor vents were removable). He quoted me a price based on the number of vents we had and even said if I had miscounted he would either adjust the price if it was less or keep the price the same if I had more vents. We were able to schedule the work for about a week and a half out from the day I talked to him and he confirmed everything personally. He called me to the day of to let me know they were running slightly behind. The guys were there from about 9:45 to 3:15. Roger, Chad and Jeremiah were easy to work with, friendly and considerate as my preschooler and I stayed in the house the entire time. The work was completed in the time according to schedule and price as estimated. After the job was done that day I noticed the air flow was a lot stronger in certain areas and not as strong in other rooms. Roger came back within an hour after I called and determined the dampers needed to be adjusted. He was able to determine where additional dampers were located and identify the loose one that caused the airflow problem. He also gave me and my husband a tutorial on adjusting the dampers (something new we learned). I loved that he took the time to find the problem and also gave us some education about our home. He was always professional but also very personable as if he was helping family or friends out. He genuinely cared about making sure we were well informed. And Finally, last but not least, Roger incidentally mentioned he smelled gas while we were downstairs. After we all smelled it we called the gas company and it turns out we had multiple gas leaks that might not have been detected if the work hadn't been done! Overall we were extremely pleased with Duct Masters for their expertise and for the excellent customer service they provided.

They tried their best in a very professional manner. However, reason of dryer vent not working was not its cleanliness. They put a temporary fix to dry my clothes and asked me to call some plumber to get it fixed. They were very good. They didn't charge me full agreed price as they said that your problem was not fixed by us.

I sent them an email asking them to call to set up an appointment. The person who contacted us was somewhat evasive but indicated that maybe they couldn't even service our home. They agreed to come out and check but never followed up. It seems pretty clear that they didn't want our business but also didn't want to explain why.

First, they vacuumed all the vents and air intakes, then sealed them. They have a monstrous vacuum which they use. The put a brush of sorts down each vent and intake individual to know down all the accumulated dust, etc. Then they vacuumed these areas. He was able to show me the stuff that came down. It was more than dust. I think there were pieces of wood and sawdust from who knows when. Then they sprayed each vent with a bacteriostatic liquid to calm down any lingering allergens. They checked the electronic air filter and the dryer vent as well. I would highly recommend Duct Masters!

Rodger was wonderful to come out and check my dryer vent and since he didn't have the right equipment he recommend another vendor. He was great at communicating and called me right away when I left a message for a service request. He & his son are very reliable and would recommend him to others. Thanks Rodger.

It went really well. These guys did a great job explaining the process and also found that our baffles to our upstairs were closed. They opened them up for us and now we get much better airflow.

These guys were great. They didn't seem to cut any corners and were more than willing to explain what they were doing. The weather was VERY cold when I had my original appointment scheduled. Apparently the really cold weather reduces the efficasy of their air compressor so we had to reschedule, but Roger did everything he could to get our ducts cleaned before we moved into our new house. Obviously I can't see inside of the ducts, but they definitely cleaned each duct in the entire house and then cleaned the trunk lines in the basement. From all indications, the ducts seem to be clean. I would definitely hire these guys again the next time that my ducts need to be cleaned and would recommend them to anybody needing this service.

They did a wonderful job (I can tell a huge difference in the dust - or lack thereof - in my home.) Roger, Chad and Jeremy were professional, conscientious and polite. They were even great with my dog as well.

Cleaned my dryer clothing vent well, however the technician left all of the vacuumed lint on the ground.

We contacted Duct Masters and made an appointment for our ducts to be cleaned. They asked us in as advance how many vents we had and quoted a price which would be the most the job would be. Roger, Chad and Jeremiah showed up on time and got to work. Even though the weather was cold and there was a foot of snow outside making it challenging to work. They explained everything very thoroughly and were both friendly and professional. The price was accurate and fair and we would definately recommend their services.

We hired Roger based on the reviews on Angie's List and he and his crew did not disappoint. Our initial appointment was postponed due to cold weather but was rescheduled when he had a cancellation the next day when it was warmer. Roger and his son, Chad, and their team member, Jeremiah, were courteous, friendly and neat. We had never had the ducts cleaned and they really needed it. Services included cleaning the vents, branches, hot air supplies, furnace, trunk lines, and cold air returns. They also secured a loose duct in the basement and cleaned and replaced the dryer duct. Everything was explained thoroughly and any problems were brought to my attention before they were repaired. I felt the price was very fair for the work they did.

Very well. A father and son effort. REAL nice guys and willing to do any little extras that are needed. MORE THAN SATISFIED!

Roger and Jeromiah arrived at the agree upon time and explained in detail the procedure they would perform to clean the air ducts in my home. They went right to work. The entire process took about 3 hours. Both individuals removed their shoes to avoid bringing any dirt into my home. They were extremely professional and helpful. I am so happy I engaged them for this service.

As has been my experience with Roger and Chad in past years, they were very punctual and very professional. This visit there was a third person, Jeromiah with them who was very nice, as well. When they arrived in my home, they promptly removed their shoes and greeted me warmly. They got right to work and did a great job with the service. When they finished, they even gave me a discount because we have used their service twice in the past. They couldn't be nicer guys! Would highly recommend these guys and would definitely use them next time we need our ducts cleaned!

Roger and his guys were extremely professional. They arrived on time and were careful not to drag any dirt into the house. They explained the whole cleaning process to me. They were extremely thorough, careful, answered any questions I had for them and even offered helpful suggestions about furnace maintenance. They finished on time and left everything spotless. After the cleaning was done, Roger charged us less than the original preliminary estimate because of the way our zoned system was setup, which speaks to the honesty and character of Roger and his company. I will be recommending their service to my friends and family, and will definitely use them again in the future.

Roger Allen and his co-worker Drew were 15 minutes early and they worked continuously for four hours. They removed their shoes each time they entered the house, were completely respectful and totally dedicated to doing quality work. These men work extremely well together ....a true "dynamic duo." Expeditiously, they removed the equipment from their truck and commenced working (after a brief introduction). Roger Allen is the owner and will most likely be the person you speak with when making your appointment to get YOUR ducts cleaned.. They rapidly relocated their "balloon" to our back yard and opened our window well access to bring in the massive flexible pipeline used to vacuum the various ducts. Working together, they inserted an air hose with a cleaning attachment that knocks the dust, dirt and grime off the walls of the ductwork. Drew works the hose insertion as Roger controls the air flow. They pre-warned me of the noise to expect. Going through the whole house in this manner, they cleaned all lines precisely. When the job was nearly completed, Drew used a sanitizing agent which will help keep dust and dirt to a minimum and protect the duct lines. This was NOT a malodorous smell at all ....in fact it was a rather pleasant odor. Roger even wrote down the name of the new filters he suggested I use to help increase the efficiency of the furnace AND told me where I could purchase the filters. If this isn't customer service, I don't know what IS! This type of service came with a smile. When was the last time YOU were satisfied with YOUR customer service? The bill was exactly what Roger said it would be ....no switch and bait or games of any kind with Duct Masters, Inc.! We had called Roger after finding the company on Angie's back in August, but hadn't been able to communicate in person due to our schedules when the calls were returned. Roger was patient with us and when we called back at the beginning of September, we discussed their method and pricing and set an appointment. There is a difference in duct cleaning, be sure you are comparing apples to apples. Our house has never had the ducts cleaned in over 12 years of living in it and to compound matters, we have a 13 year old lab who has grown up in the house and sheds. Needless to say our desire to have the ducts cleaned was being driven from the presence of dog hair and dander in the house, and complaint of itchy eyes from the wife and kids. Roger and his crew arrived at our house at the prescribed time and as I greeted them at the front door, he and his fellow worker took off their shoes to enter the house. (To me that's an earlier indicator of the courtesy you can expect from vendors working on your house.) They proceeded to begin the prep and listened as I informed them my wife was in bed recovering from surgery the day before. We discussed a plan of action to work around her and limit her move out of the master into a separate bedroom and back. Roger and his fellow worker were extremely informative of the process and what could be expected at the main air handling unit so that I would understand all the steps. They have just left, after a 5 1/2 hour cleaning. Truly great people and someone I would highly recommend. They did everything they stated they would, worked around my wife, and left the house cleaner than when they arrived. The air is on and it feels cleaner to me. In my experience people make the difference and Roger and his company understand this. They are service oriented, focused on follow-thru, and their customer's happiness. Duct Masters is a father son business. Roger (dad) handles most of the calls and scheduling, and Chad does most of the work. After a reschedule by us, they showed up on Saturday. They were nice enough to give a courtesy call for notice, and arrived at 2:30, right when they said they would. They immediately started working, bringing stuff in. They both were very clean, and took their shoes off without prompting. After sizing up the basement to see how to bring the lines in, we walked around the house to all the vents to see how to clean them. We have an older house, with many of the source vents painted shut, and we both decided it was best to leave them on the wall for now. He hooked up the lines and went to work. He took off all the return vents (not painted on) and Roger went about cleaning them. Chad called me over a few times to show what he was doing, including techniques and tools. I think this was a combo of "show you what you're paying for" and a little bit of pride in his work which was appreciated. He showed me a few places with buildup that was missed before by previous cleaners, and some vacuum action to show the dust pouring through the system. He even had some advice for our HVAC system. Lastly they looked at our dryer line and thought it was better to replace it. They had two kinds of line, one obviously much higher quality for just a bit more. We chose the stiffer one. They ran a little bit later than they estimated over the phone. They cleaned up, and we settled the bill. You could tell that the extra run time was not anyone slacking off. Chad worked hard - his shirt was soaked through, and Im not sure, but it may have been a second shirt. Both of us think the house smells better. For the next few days we didn't need AC or heat, and you could still tell the difference. You can especially tell the difference now that we sometimes use the heater at night.

We chose Duct Masters after calling a few duct cleaning services listed in Angie's List. Roger spent about 20 minutes explaining what he does and how it is done. He asked enough questions to confirm what had to be done. The other services were not as thorough. Duct Masters was quick efficient, neat and clean, arrived on time and left on time. If you want clean ducts, call Duct Masters. Roger and Chad explained what they were doing and why, answered all my questions, took their shoes off every time they came inside, and vacuumed after they were finished. I've had the ducts cleaned before but not like this. I could actually hear the debris going through the huge hose and into the outside vacuum. The companies that offer those "special" $69, or $89, or $99 deals do not clean like this. Duct Masters charges a bit more, but they do a lot more.

WOW! What a great job and what a load of dirt they pulled out! After opening all the vents they vacuumed each vent and opening. After the initial vacuuming they sent a small hose with highly compressed air down each vent to force the dust and other debri toward the large duct in the basement. They then cut 1" diameter holes into each elbow of the large ducts downstairs, so that any accumulated dirt and dust could be forced onward toward the huge ducts downstairs with the small compressed air hoses. The large about 1 foot diameter plastic tubing that was attached to the furnace was essentially a gigantic suction tube (the power source was in the driveway, and the collection bag/bucket looked more like a mini hot air balloon). It all ended up in that gigantic (25 gallon or more?) bucket under the "balloon." Roger, the owner, must just have bought a new "balloon" because I remember a bag that looked a lot dustier a few years ago. To finish they cleaned the drier vent too, put all the vent covers back on and then made sure any debri on our floors (if there was any) was cleaned up with a smaller vacuum cleaner. Outstanding, efficient, on time, effective. Call Roger, he does this job the old fashioned way, gets all the dust out, he'll even let you see it speeding toward the large vacuum tube if you wish, just have a flashlight handy and you'll see a mini Haboob heading for his collection area! As an Indoor Air Quality Specialist I am particularly interested in keep dust mites, mold spores, dander and pollen out of the air we breathe. Using our whole house air purifier to continue to eliminate airborne dust, we noticed the particulate count go from around 277 per 100th of a cubic foot to 32 within an hour of the duct cleaning!
