This is a small, family owned company run by a father and son, Roger and Chad. I believe Roger handles all the scheduling and estimating which he made it very easy to deal with. During the initial phone call, which took about 25 minutes, Roger explained their process in depth and gave an estimate based on the size of my house and his best guess at how many vents there were. He estimated 25 and quoted off that but there are actually 33 so we ended up splitting the difference of $72, as they charge $9 to clean each vent. They also thoroughly cleaned the furnace which runs $275. They also cleaned my dryer vent and sanitized each vent at no charge. I was very impressed with Duct Masters and their entire operation. Scheduling was simple, they were right on time, cleaned everything unbelievably, were very transparent with their process as they showed me step by step what they'd be doing. They also said a previous company that cleaned the ducts before we owned the house did a decent job but showed me how that company only made 1 cut in the duct above the furnace so bigger debris could have gotten into the furnace. Duct Masters made 3 cuts which enabled them to force all debris into their large vacuum bag. They were also very neat and cleaned up well at the end too. Overall, they did a great job and I would for sure use them again even though they said I probably wouldn't need another duct cleaning for 4 - 5 years. But, I will use them for another dryer vent cleaning before that. The owners run a great small business and actually perform the work themselves along with one worker, Jeremiah.

Rodger and his son Chad did an excellent job. We had them clean the ducts when we moved into our house 5 years ago and we had them come back this time after doing some remodeling and seeing the amount of dust getting pulled into our furnace filters. They did a very through job cleaning all the vents and the furnace, explaining the entire process along the way. They are very efficient and personable. The pricing is clear no trying to upsell you once they arrive at your home.

Called them based on 95% A reviews on Angie's list. Excellent all around. I have nothing negative to say. Came on time, did everything they needed to do, talked about sports and stocks. No need for details, since they do the job they need to do in a professional and very friendly way. Easy to see why they have earned 95% A reviews.

We hired them for the service after we installed and on-site finished hardwood floor to cover the whole first story. A couple of my friends and neighbors recommended Duct Masters and we are very glad that we made the right choice. Before I made the reservation, I talked to Roger on the phone and he gave me a very clear idea of the scope and procedure of their work, the time needed and the cost. Roger and his sons came in time. They did a thorough job cleaning all the ducts and vents. The whole work took them about 6 hours we could definitely feel the difference before and after. Through the process, they also provided me, a first time hone owner, a lot of useful tips how to properly operate out HVAC. I strongly recommend their service and would use them again!

The ducts were extremely dirty - partly left by the previous owners and some contribution by us during remodeling. In all, it took them about 6.5 hours to fully clean the ducts throughout the house. They told us that our ducts were some of the dirtiest they have ever seen. They were focused and motivated to not just do the job, but do it right and completely. In the end, it probably took more time than they expected but we could notice the difference. The air is a lot cleaner and we are appreciative of their service.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. They were very friendly, professional and personable. Once they were done my family made a comment about how much better the air quality is in the house. It's true, I noticed it myself! There is no doubt about it, if you have a lot of animals, like I do, 2 cats and 2 dogs. I highly recommend you have your vents cleaned by Duct Masters. You can count on me being a repeat customer! Roger and his crew were very professional and knowledgeable from the initial phone consultation through completing the job. They were very friendly and took the time to explain the process and give tips and suggestions to optimize my hvac system. Straight forward pricing, everything included with no upselling. Would highly recommend.

Roger and crew arrived on time and set straight to work. Explained what they were doing as they did it and had optimal respect for my home. Gave useful tips on how to maintain my heating system and recommended trusted contractors. Did a beautiful and thorough job of removing decades of dust and build up, home smelled wonderful and air flow from furnaces greatly improved. Cleaned up after themselves and on a snowy day barely knew they had been there. I highly recommend this service and urge home-owners duct clean for much improved air quality in their homes., especially if pet owners.

Poorly. After reading all the good reviews, I was very disappointed that they aren't willing to clean a dryer vent on 2nd floor. I'd understand if it was some peculiar installation, but this is a single family home with easy access. I don't understand.

I called a 3rd party to inspect our dryer since it was taking a long time to dry the clothes. They came out and had pretty much diagnosed it before coming in the house, did some quick checks and then confirmed their diagnosis that it was the dryer vent and I needed to call someone else who could clean it. I then found Duct Masters and called them. I had a return call in about 2 hours letting me know they (Roger & Chad) were in the area and could actually stop by on the same day. Great. They asked a few questions over the phone about where the vent was and where it left the house, but I couldn't help. No matter, when they got here they knew were to look and almost immediately identified where the vent was under the deck and were working on it promptly. As part of the process, they also removed (and ultimately changed) the hose connecting the dryer to the vent. They also identified some obvious misses from the initial party I had called and pointed out they should probably have caught this and fixed it. They were at my house for probably 1 hour and the work was done. I was really impressed with the professionalism as they went through their process of cleaning the vents. In the end, the actual vent was not really blocked or dirty, but the issue appeared to be the tube connecting the dryer to the vent, but they worked through it all and took care of it. Two particular things stand out: 1)They cleaned everything and put absolutely everything back where it was. The entire dryer was cleaned out from lint, the floor was vacuumed, my gate was back and my laundry room looked like no one had been in there. 2) They were great with my 4 and 2 1/2 year old who want to ask a fair amount of questions. This was not necessary, but just a nice touch. All in all, I'd highly recommend Roger and Chad for duct work.

They came on short notice to help us get the duct clean before a new dryer was installed. They did a thorough job, were very polite and neat. They pointed out an unrelated issue that needed fixing and we appreciated that. I would definitely call them again.

Upon arriving they explained what they were going to do and where everything would be. They were at our house for about 5 hours and everything went exactly how they had explained. Even though there were tubes running all over the house and all vent covers had been removed, by the time they left you would never know they had been here. Everything was clean and exactly how it had been.

They came at 10 am and left here about 3 pm or so. We had 30 ducts that needed to be cleaned and they did an excellent job with a high powered machine that pushed the debris from the top floor through to the basement level. We had never had the ducts cleaned before and I'm sure the prior owners did not either. So it was a lot of work. Roger explained everything they would do and was very professional, as was his son. I would highly recommend them.

The 16 year old house is about 3,100 sq. ft. plus a finished basement. We recently had redone a bathroom and new wood flooring that totally loaded the house with dust. The vents, heating system and electronic air filter were a complete mess. Went to temporary paper filters until the remodeling was completed. Dust everywhere. Roger and Allen are consummate professionals! They did a great job and have all of the knowledge and state of the art equipment to do a professional job. I was amazed at the technology and comprehensiveness of the process. It's far more complex than I could have imagined and took several hours to complete. No short cuts. Every vent and vent cover were cleaned. They really know what they are doing and take the time to get the job done right. When they were done they cleaned up everything and you would' t know that they were ever here. We are completely satisfied and glad to have had the work done by them. Beyond that they really CARE! They cleaned not only the external opening of the dryer vent, which is located 12 feet above the ground level, but also cleaned the entire vent tube going inside, using special equipment.

It went extremely well! Chad, Roger, and Jeremiah were informative, friendly and professional. I had lots of questions due to this being our first home and they explained what would be done in how much time and even gave us suggestions to be more efficient. We moved into our new home last summer and knew that a full duct cleaning would be needed. The previous owner had pets, was a smoker and had not maintained the home very well. We had also done significant updating to the home including refinishing the hardwood floors, replacing all of the carpet and painting throughout. Cleaning the duct work was needed to clear out what we were sure were years of built up dust in the system. We found Duct Masters on Angie's List and liked the different approach they take for an in-depth cleaning. I spoke with Roger over the phone and he was very thorough in explaining their service and how it differs from other such services in the area. He, Chad, and Jeremiah were great to work with the day of the service call. They were very polite and professional. We would highly recommend Duct Masters to anyone else needing such services and we will definitely use them again in the future.

Very great service, they arrived on time, did not "upsell" anything. Their work was neat and no mess was left behind. They were considerate of the animals in the house. They even fixed a vent cover that wasn't attaching correctly. Will definitely have them back when the duct work needs cleaned again.

Everything went perfect! Roger (the owner) & his 2 man crew (Jeremiah & Aren) arrived on time. Everyone was very friendly, which I fully expected, being a family owned (father & son operated) business. They quickly explained the procedure to me before they got started. They then began to set up all their equipment and get everything prepared for a thorough cleaning. Jeremiah explained everything to me in detail, every step of the way, which I appreciated. They began with the upstairs and worked their way down. They placed an air hose, with a hurricane whip system, in each vent to thoroughly clean the ducts. They sprayed a sanitizing solution in each vent afterwards, to help eliminate odors and bacteria. They set up a powerful vacuum and filter bag outside of our home, going down into the furnace, to suck in all the loose debris. When they got to the basement, they drilled tiny holes in the ducts to ensure a thorough cleaning. No worries, as the holes are sealed properly afterwards. The crew took great care in being respectful of everything in the home, making sure not to damage anything during the process. It was apparent that our ducts had never been cleaned, or at least never cleaned properly by a reputable and thorough duct cleaning service. They found all sorts of things in our air ducts, and apparently our ducts were fairly dirty. I'm sure the air quality is much better now, as apparent through our cat. Our cat was throwing up everyday before the air ducts were clean. Every since the cleaning, our cat has not thrown up once! It must have been allergic to all the debris & dust in our vents. After the cleaning, our cat is doing much better! We've also noticed that all the dust bunnies that we were getting before the air ducts were cleaned have for the most part dissipated. Duct Masters did a wonderful job! I will definitely use them again & highly recommend them to everyone! It's so refreshing to find an honest and thorough air duct cleaning service that legitimately cares about their work!

Roger was fantastic, he explained everything very thoroughly and took great care to keep our home very clean during the process. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with my second child and it was important to me that the ducts were cleaned extremely well before my little one arrived. They cleared every vent and were professional and respectful through the entire process. Really nice guys! I'm just sorry it took me so long to write a review.

Roger Allen (owner) explained, in detail, what their work would entail. Roger and his son arrived on time on the scheduled day and proceeded to do exactly what they said was to be done. We are very pleased with the results.

Roger and his associate arrived on time with an array of specialized equipment to remove not only airborne dust but to also agitate and remove any accumulation of residue on the sides, tops, and bottoms of all the supply and return ducts in our house. As the 20 hp fan created a powerful suction the ducts were cleansed of any dust, dirt, allergens, etc., by the movement of a compressed air activated brush that scoured the air ducts not only from the rooms down to the furnace, but also from the furnace back up to the rooms! Wherever a bend or elbow was encountered they drilled a small opening so that the flexible rotating brush could be inserted and proceed to clean that duct. Afterward a small cap was affixed to close that opening! Upon completion of this process, a fungicide/ disinfectant was sprayed to sanitize the system. They applied the same method in cleaning the clothes dryer also. Both men worked diligently, and one could see how experienced and knowledgeable they were in their work. I would use them again, and I would heartily recommend them to my friends and neighbors!
