Install completed in 2014 and was satisfactory. In 2020, hail damaged siding. Called and was told hail was not covered by warranty... Which I already understood. Explained that I wanted to repair that I would pay for which insurance had already processed. Three weeks later rep scheduled visit to obtain a repair estimate. Next day I get a call explaining that Sears/Transform does not perform repairs outside of warranty period... PERIOD, NO EXCEPTIONS. So, if you purchase from this company be prepared to repair or arrange repair without their help after whatever warranty period you have expires. As is common, experiences for install and sales vary by person, but this repair experience will pertain to ALL regardless of how good or bad your original experience is. Know your warranty period and be ready to line up third party companies who may not be able to match your siding in color or type when/if you experience damage or are in need of repair. One option is to purchase additional panels for any future needs if that is even an option. Buyer beware.

Signed a contract and gave a 500 deposit in 3/6/2020. Work to be scheduled for 6 to 8 weeks out. To date I have not received a return call or email, from every person listed for this company, at least 20 phone calls and messages remain unaddressed, no calls or messages returned. Very poor business practice and at this point I feel they took my 500 dollars and are a scam. Sincerely,

The first guy that was supposed to come out could not be found by your company. The second guy brought out was named Pat Riley and he said that he was from Camden, Tn. He took some measurements and brought a few pieces of siding. He ended using some scrap siding that had fallen off the "dog house area" of the roof. He charged me $529 for the job and didn't finish the job (he said he couldn't put up the 2 long pieces of siding because he needed a special machine to cut the siding and that would be an extra charge to do that). He said that he would finish the job (for the extra charge) when he was back in my area (I live in Russellville, Al). I tried to call his number and left a message on his voice mail and I expressed my unhappiness with his work and let him know that I wanted him to finish the job for what I paid him to do. I got no response from him. I called him the second time and his voice mail was full. After he had (finished) the job he gave me some and story about being stiffed on his last job to the tune of $1100 and asked me if I had $525 in cash that I could pay him. I told him that I didn't keep that large amount on me but he accepted my check. My biggest mistake was paying him the full amount before he completed the job. I would not recommend Patrick Riley to do any work for any one.

My husband and I signed our contract for Transform Home Improvements (A Sears Company) to do our siding on our house. We signed the contract at the end of October at which time we were told that it would be 3-4 weeks for delivery of the siding, and then we would be contacted the following week to schedule the installation. After not hearing anything from them after 4 weeks I reached out to the sales person who came out to the house and this is where the battle began with trying to get any correct information on our project. After several phone calls and emails I finally was able to get hold of the sales manager. He proceeded to tell me that our paperwork fell through the cracks, and he would do everything he could to get things pushed through. I was told at this time that we would now be looking at a delivery time of the first week of December for our siding (this came from the sales manager). Here it is the first week of December and still have not heard anything from the company about scheduling delivery. Now both my husband and I have reached out to every manager that including the district manager. Not one of them has reached back out in response. So again I have to call and email until I get to talk to someone. Once again I was told that our paperwork fell through the cracks. Now I am being told that we are looking at the 3rd week of December for delivery. I finally get a call from the purchasing manager the 2nd week of December and was told that our paperwork just came across his desk, and he would be placing the order for the siding that day, and we would be looking at 4-6 weeks for delivery. This is when I told him not to bother, and we ended up canceling the project. Not once did the district manager reach out in response to us contacting him. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I definitely do not recommend this company.

They are very professional and the crew that did our house was very experienced and did an excellent job. The pure vinyl siding seems to be of great quality and is backed by lifetime warranty. Our house looks brand new and is insulated much better than before. Would do it all over again.

Had 2 appointments for a siding estimate- they were a no show for both! Second appointment they ?guaranteed? they would show up, then I found out they never had anyone to come do the estimate to start with. They Asked for a 3rd attempt at an estimate- if you can't show up for 2 scheduled estimates, and have no courtesy to call to cancel, chances are they won't show up to do the actual siding job either.

They were very accommodating in scheduling and getting the job done. However, after 5 months and many phone calls we have been unable to get needed repairs done to fix a problem with the siding. The lip service is great, but the physical service is non-existent. We would think twice about using Sears again for any home improvement project.

Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!! One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a home project. The salesman retired one week after submitting my work order so I had no one to verify what he had told me. If you called their Help line, you got transferred about half a dozen times to someone who was as smart as a rock.

Signed a contract with Sears Home Improvement, got financed, all was good to go. Then 2 weeks later Sears contacted me to say the contracted price would be changing by $ 3110.08 because the salesman who wrote the contract did not add some things to it / got some things wrong. I tried to contact a manager for 1 week with no response, only the salesman telling me I had to approve the increase. Sears only gives you 3 days to accept or cancel the contract but they take as long as they want and change the price any time they want and you can do nothing about it. They have already used 1/3 of the total price by the time they changed it and you are on the hook for that amount with no refund nothing if you cancel. Finally I signed off on the change in price only then to hear from a manager telling me it is the first he has heard of the problem which I know is not true because the salesman sent me the email from said manager about the changes. Sears will not take any responsibility for their poor workman ship on the contract, i have no illusion that they will stand behind any warranty. No work has been preformed to this point, when the contractors have completed their work I will update this review. Best advise is to stay away from Sears period.
