Description of Work: Mike came to my house on short notice (a Saturday) to provide a quote. He knew that I had a bid already from another flooring company but was willing to provide a competing quote. From the 20 minutes he was there it was obvious he knew his stuff and combined with the favorable Angies list reviews I completely trusted him to do the floors. The quote was itemized for all the different optional items like installing baseboard, sanding and staining the stairs, etc so I could decide what I needed. Ultimately I went with my original bid because it was from a personal referral and the $ quotes were the same, but if Mike had been slightly lower I would have used them.

Description of Work: Sanding and staining hardwood floors on the main level. Riping carpet, installing unfinished hardwood floors and staining them on the second level and staircase of my house

Description of Work: We needed carpeting removed and hardwood installed in our family room, dining room and living room. We also needed the new flooring to be blended into existing hardwood in adjoining areas. Based upon Angie's List ratings, we asked Nex to quote the job. Mike responded to our inquiry quickly, visited our home and proposed a reasonable solution to our needs. As for the work, the schedule was followed to the letter. Company installers arrived when they said that they would, worked extremely hard and represented the company with a great deal of professional pride. The job was completed on time, on budget, and to our expectations. We would definitely use Nex Flooring again, and feel 100% confident recommending them to anyone considering their services.

Description of Work: Mike and his dad did an excellent job with refinishing our floors. They were very professional and provided detailed information of floor product choices. The floor looks great as we had some bad spots which are perfect now. I highly recommend that you take advantage of their service to provide their custom built-in wood floor vents. They sit flush with the floor and the quality of the install is first rate. This father and son team is overall first rate as well and their price was the best, that doesn't happen often! They took great care in masking everything off to keep things clean. My wife and I are very picky so feel confident in using Nec Flooring.

Description of Work: I asked Nex Flooring to give an estimate. The interaction was very good. Mike was patient with all my questions. Their price was very competitive. I didn't hire Nex Flooring, not because I have any doubts about their work, but because I wanted to use the company that I may hire for my kitchen cabinets. If it were not for this reason, I would have hired Nex Flooring.
