The crew worked in excessive heat and stayed with it. All work done by hand. Very pleasant young men and they showed us what was wrong and how they were fixing it every day.

Joel is a great sales rep and facilitator. He went beyond the call of duty to find us someone who would remove our tiles (which contained some asbestos), He also never tried to pressure us to do a bigger project than we were comfortable with, and he was always very clear about everything. Kelly at the desk was always very helpful and conscientious. The installation team men were good to work with. People were unfailingly friendly and communicated well. Very professional overall, and a job well done. Clean-up could have been a little better, but it was a long day and the men faced a long drive home from Urbana. The company was also very efficient in scheduling us and getting the work done.

The work was done in a professional manner . Their clean up was great. Have not had big rains to tell if the problem is solved.

Marc Cooper an employee from B-Dry of Highland came to my home and went into my crawlspace, he recommended the B-Dry System with a sump pump and flexi-seal liner on the floor and walls of my crawlspace. After he recommended that I then said, "you mean encapsulate it?" Mr. Cooper replied "yeah!" After the job was completed I noticed that the vapor barrier was not sealed to the foundation wall. Marc Cooper was the consultant for the job so I asked him about this and he said it does not need to be sealed to the foundation wall because I do not have a moisture problem! He then says "If you want to you can take some polyurethane caulk and put it on the back of the liner and press it to the foundation wall, but you don't have a moisture problem". That is what he said to me word for word! Then I asked why was the old vapor barrier left underneath the new vapor barrier? He said it will help channel water better. What water? He just told me I don't have a moisture problem. At the time I believed him because he is the professional and works for B-Dry waterproofing. The old liner was moldy, infested with mildew, smelled horrible, was full of debris and sharp objects. Before I purchased my home it was obvious the crawlspace had flooded several times due to the foundation vents being below grade and clogged gutters. As time went on I decided to do my own research about crawlspace encapsulation and I got a second opinion from another waterproofing company. An employee from another company came to my home and inspected B-Drys workmanship. I then realized that Marc Cooper was dishonest with me! Encapsulation means completely isolated from the earth and any outside air. A properly encapsulated crawlspace keeps ground moisture, radon gas, pest and rodents out of your crawlspace to create a healthy environment. When done improperly, like B-dry did to mine the ground moisture goes right up the foundation walls and into the floor joists. The installation crew at B-Dry did a very unsatisfactory job and they know they did! The day after the job was complete I made my final payment over the phone via credit to the owner Justin Whitmore and I asked him if a sump pump alarm was installed. Justin Whitmore stated "no, you don't have one, but those are pretty good sump pumps." I then said if my sump pump fails how will I know? Justin Whitmore, then says " yeah I guess you don't go in your crawlspace very often." He agreed to install an alarm. I told Mr. Whitmore that my dad is retired and he can be at my home anytime to let an employee inside to install the alarm. Justin Whitmore would not let me make an appointment, he just wanted to have one of his employees stop by my home when they had another job in the area. Justin Whitmore did not want to send an employee 31 miles to my home for a sump pump alarm. Justin Whitmore called me a few times while I was at work, but I missed his calls because cell phones are prohibited during work hours at my pla

The window looks great! The diggers worked hard and did a good job of clean-up and packing the dirt back in after the installation. I paid $3,700 for a basic egress window. I don't know if that is a good price or not as I did not get other estimates. The men were courteous and professional.

They did an excellent job, finished in 1 day, and did everything they said they would do. Along with the written estimate they said they would make sure the sump pump installed by someone else was in good working order, but it wasn't written on the estimate. They kept their promise. They also put a finish touch on drain grates they installed, which we didn't think they were doing. I am VERY pleased. It hasn't rained hard yet so the solution isn't proven but i have high confidence.
