I was contacted within 24 hours of accepting the contract, and was asked to provide a description of required services. We swapped emails back and forth a couple of times, hashing out the details, and then I was given my choice of dates for service. The electrician arrived on schedule, and worked efficiently but quickly. He kept an eye on the clock as we moved through the various tasks, and let me know that he could either stop at the 2-hour mark or I could choose to keep him longer, at their standard rate. I did choose to keep him an hour later, to complete the chandelier installation. He was extremely professional but friendly. Most importantly, the lights look great and work perfectly. I am very happy with the entire process, and would use this provider again.

The initial communications were excellent. The contractor and I exchanged messages and settled on Jan 13, 2015 between 8:30 and 9 to start the work. The contractor never showed up and despite multiple attempts to contact them, they have not returned messages or voice mails. I am looking for a full refund on this purchase. Thank you.

Communication was timely and complete. Mick (who did the actual installation) arrived exactly as scheduled, knocked out the work in no time at all and made sure that I understood the device and how it worked before he left. We would most definitely use Sound Construction again.

They sent me an email stating that they were not in my service area. I have contacted Angie's List and found an alternate Big Deal with a different service provider.

He was great, very professional and knowledgeable. He explained what he needed to do and asked my opinion when necessary.

The electrician came out to repair and install crawlspace lighting. Even though the work order did not list the installation of the second light, he was able to acquire the necessary supplies--and still complete the entire job within the allotted window. He was thorough, and made sure the lights worked properly before leaving. Great job (and price) all around!!

They were friendly and came on time. They did a good job of explaining what they were doing. The job turned out to be more complicated than originally thought. They explained what they would have to do, gave me options and ultimately did a very nice job.

They suggested a date in April to do the work since it was for an outdoor outlet but we never really connected. I've tried leaving them messages recently which they haven't returned.

Great job! He was very professional, offered great advice, and even gave me some light bulbs for my lights downstairs. I was very pleased with overall service. If I have electrical issue or problem down the road, Ill call them.

Number 1 couldn't be completed since it involved tracing wiring through the inside of the house and/or removing the external electrical box. Either option would have involved tearing into existing stucco or drywall so this was tabled until spring. Numbers 2 through 6 were done thoroughly and efficiently. We're very happy with the result and I wouldn't hesitate to use Sound Construction again. Thanks to Mick and Frank. They were great.

That turned out absolutely wonderful. He fixed ours doorbells and had to re-wire something that had been wired wrong in our sauna. He installed outside lights. He put up 2 motion dictators. He fixed 2 of our light fans. He also did a lot of little electrical needs. He did good quality work and did everything we asked him to do and more. He was efficient and worked non-stop. He also showed up on time too. He was excellent and very personable.

Agreed upon job was completed and done well. However, we were a little surprised at the price. We would use them again.

Excellent. this was not easy because he had to first figure out how everything was wired and the n determine if the existing wiring could be used.

My calls weren't returned on time and when he called the morning he was scheduled to do the work, to tell me that he wouldn't be coming out for the work due to being sick. I then decided to no longer go forward with this company.

It went fine and Mick did a good job as usual. I have been a customer with them for about one year now. He got the job done in about 30 minutes.

I have called and left two voicemails and have received no response. I left a message on November 18 and December 1 and I have still not heard from them. I would not use them again.

When I finally was able to get in contact with him he needed to schedule to too far out and I needed it done sooner.

Purchased the deal on Oct 31. Nov 1 Sound Construction contacted me and asked what work I wanted done. Nov 4 I replied. Did not hear back. Approx Nov 11 I e-mailed, stating that I had not heard back from them. Nov 11 they said they would contact me over next 2 days. They did not. Nov 20 I contacted them, asked them to contact me on Nov 20 or 21. Heard nothing. This is a bad sign. If they have either too much work, or too little interest, to respond to their own promotion, it is possible that they will be hard to work with trying to schedule work, possible that I could encounter problems getting them to finish my project once it has started, etc etc. The prudent this is for me to get my money back, and not set myself up for further disappointment.

Got a call a few minutes after he was supposed to be at my home. Other job running late - wanted to reschedule. After rearranging my day to be home when he asked me to be, I was very disappointed as I have very limited time and it was a struggle to be there as it was. Had I been advised earlier in the day (it was a 1 PM appointment) I would not have missed my office holiday party. The job was simple - but, I also did not want to work around another appointment.

I used a Big Deal for the work. The deal was $349 for an electrician for a day (8 hours). I am very happy with the work that was done. The electrician was very professional and nice. He was on time ready to work. I explained to him what we wanted done and he made a few suggestions that were very helpful. I had two ceiling fans installed in rooms that did not have overhead lighting prior. To do this, he had to work in the attic which was unbearably hot but he didn't once complain.

Door is awesome, door is level and straight, leaky cold air draft gone, Would use again.
