The provider looked at our pictures (computer) of the problem and gave us his opinion and concerns. We have chosen to delay the work. We have paid nothing additional to the original price of $99.

I purchased a deal for 2 hours of electrical work. I provided days I was avaiialble. The Company, Sound Construction Inc. suggested today in the afternoon. I juggled my schedule and accepted. They never showed and never called. This is crap that companies did before cell phones, texts and emails. I am equally upset with Angie's list....what good is this service if the providers dont show and dont communicate.

Everything was fine. He came with his adult son and they were both working which I thought was nice.

Scheduling seems to be an issue with this provider. I arranged my entire day around him doing the work and he called to cancel.

Mick and Frank showed up promptly at 8:30. We discussed what needed to be done, which was to add 4 lights in the kitchen ceiling and an exterior outlet. They first study the house to make certain that they could add the ceilings in the light, since there was no electricity to where we needed the lights installed. Once they determined that they could add the electricity to the area they were very particular to make certain that they protected my countertop and made certain that we moved anything that could get damaged. It was particularly challenging for them since the house has plaster walls/ceilings as opposed to drywall. They then measured everything for accuracy and began installing the lights. As the work was progressing they would keep me apprised of their progress and what they were doing so I fully understood the process. When the work was completed in the kitchen they cleaned up all the dust from cutting holes in the ceiling and put all the garbage in the outside bin. The exterior outlet went very fast and they did a similar great job there.

I wanted an outdoor outlet and fixtures in two bedrooms in my house for a long time. I found the Electrician for the Day Deal offered by Sound Construction and used it for these projects as well as the additional projects I mentioned above. I am very pleased with the work performed. Mick came to my house on time and worked nonstop (except for a small lunch break) on my projects. I purchased another hour so he can replace my living room fan/light fixture. A real hard worker and very nice and personable. When he finished, you would not have known drilling in the ceilings was done since he took great care keep the rooms clean. I would definitely hire them again when I need more electrical work done.

We were very happy with their services. They were excellent.

The provider messaged me and said he doesn't do fence work, even though it does say fence repairs in the description of the deal.

purchased 8 hour deal from Angie's List. 2 electricians came and used every minute of the four hours. I purchased an extra hour to finish my to do list. They were very diligent, cleaned up after themselves, and even taught us how to take care of other list items. great to work with them. Will be setting up another appointment for additional work.

They were friendly and didn’t try to up sell me on anything. It was a good service.

He was very professional, informative, and skilled. I would use them again. He was good about helping think about the next time I will need to replace bulbs.

They came out and installed an electrical breaker for landscape lighting. They were very good.

Gave me an evaluation of the sound of the electrical system and did a couple of repairs. I was very satisfied with the service.

Mick and Jim showed up early and ready to work. They were professional and worked cleanly. The fans were installed in my 2 sons rooms. We had them run a new line to each room and use remotes for the fans. We were pleased to have them in our home. Thanks for a job well done.

Once they were here, it was an average experience. The most irritating part was their tardiness. We were told 9am and they didn't show until 2pm. I was only going to take a half day, but had to take a full day.

Scheduled appt to complete microwave installation assignment. Confirmed Time was between 11:00-1:00 ----no show no communication until after 2:00 when email was sent saying person was "running late" I told him TOO LATE as I had to go back to work! I Cannot wait all day for appt that doesn't show up. Please refund my $99.00

All the work was performed to my expectations.

Although they were fine, they were unable to install the lighting due to the permissions of my property.

Showed up on agreed date at specified time. I had purchased two hours for $100.00 on Angie's List and had him replace two bathroom fans. I provided the fans. It took two hours to complete the job.

They never reached out to me after I purchased the Big Deal. I have tried to call numerous times and have never received a return phone call.

Everything went very well. Instead of having to replace exhaust fans, the technician was able to troubleshoot the problems with the exhaust fans and perform preventive maintenance instead of replacing the fans. I appreciated his honest assessment and it saved me money as I was able to take the replacement fan back for a refund. Because the repair took less time than anticipated I was able to get a track light in my kitchen repaired. I would recommend this company and will call them again if I need services at my investment property.

Mick was friendly and communicative. I'd ask for him again in a heartbeat. I wish I had had more work to give him, because he was done in about an hour.

Mick called to notify me when he would be arriving. He arrived at the agreed upon time. He introduced himself and asked what I wanted done. I told Mick that I would like an outside outlet installed near the front door. The house has siding and he explained that a new outlet would involve removing and replacing the siding. I asked if he would inspect an existing outlet on the garage that was not functioning. He verified the GFCI did not function and wouldn't reset. Mick removed the outlet and checked that there was power. I agreed to replacing the outlet. I appreciated that the coupon could be used for the repair. I incurred no additional charge. He did suggest that if I wanted an outlet near the front door, he could replace an existing switch with an outlet. Another option would be to replace an existing lamp post (that I do not like) with a different style with an outlet. I am unable to do so at this time, however he informed me that Sound Construction, Inc. frequently offers a coupon, 2 hrs. for $99.00. Mick was friendly and explained my options.
