If you hire these people you will be the person driving the communication with them during the process. They do not call to provide updates. They started by coming out the look at the project and said they needed to order parts. 10 days later I had to call them to get a status of the part order and timeline to complete the job. I called twice and was told they would call back with the info then never did. You have to be a pain and push the communications if you need a job done quickly.

Very good job except the repairman had to go buy drywall for a two small drywall repair areas which I had provided the size of when I called. Then I was billed for the 30 minutes of shopping time.

Because I live in a single-story, slab foundation home, accessing a drainage plumbing issue can be challenging and, in this case, I had a problem that exceeded my ability to solve it. When I called Mr. Handyman in Grayslake, their staff was friendly and accommodating and we booked an appointment with Brian Andersen right away. It turns out that the trouble I had was deep in the pipes of my 70-year old house, but this did not upset or discourage Brian at all. I was impressed by his courteous nature and professionalism, as well as his tenacity when faced with a difficult task. Resolution took longer than I had hoped for, but it was by no means a worst-case scenario. Brian worked tirelessly and we fixed the snag. I strongly recommend this company for their high-level of care and versatility when it comes to problem-solving.
