Description of Work: Performed air tests and came up with a plan for remediation. Explained in detail what the air test results were. Adam, you are the best. Everyone at Mold Solutions was a big help. We would recommend them to our friends and family.

Description of Work: Visit scheduled next day after I called. They told me the name of the inspector and when he would arrive and he did within about 5 minutes early. Adam, the inspector, went through all our concerns and then inspected from the basement to the upper attic. Luckily for us, he found no mold other than what he called "lumber yard mold" on two of the rafters. The office had informed me that if an air inspection was needed that it would be more expensive but Adam said that with what he saw and smelled, he didn't think we needed one (actually they do a set of 3 if they are needed). Recommended a de-humidifier and more air circulation. The piece of mind we got was worth several times the cost.

Description of Work: Adam came to the house we had just purchased to evaluate the suspicion of mold in the attic above the bathrooms that were not properly vented prior to adding blown in insulation. He determined that we did not have an issue and since we were about to have new bath fans installed and properly vented there was no need for additional work from his company. He did not charge us anything, not even a trip charge which is rare. I would recommend Mold Solutions.

The salesman had mentioned 2 prices. 30 min later when I gave the okay for the basement test, he did it plus the outside (guess assuming that I wanted it) and charged me the higher price. Small miscommunication. |The test came back positive for 1 type of mold. The surface cleaning price, plus duct cleaning and another duel air test was over $2000.00. Too much, we did the cleaning ourselves and added a commercial grade dehumidifier to the basement for $1500.00.

He advised that that I should have certain sections of the dry wall removed and replaced, and have the Mold spray applied in those specific areas. I was pleased with his work and recommendations.

We sent them pictures of what we thought was mold in our insulation and they were able to identify to our satisfaction that it was not mold and explained in detail the science behind it. I can't say enough about how I would totally trust this company to do any work you might need done. They are very upstanding and seem to place high value on customer care - even when they weren't making a dime!

Description of Work: I had mold in the front hall closet. They told me it was just service mold. I cleaned it up with bleach and that took care of it. The mold was coming from the outside brick wall and glass block window from moisture. He said closet needed to be less full so air can flow thru. New tenants have not complained of any mold. Mold remediation wasn't needed.

He double tested spots I was concerned about, and said he didn't find anything he was concerned about.
