Description of Work: I went first with my car and had things fixed. Then about two weeks later I took my daughters car there. There were steering problems and front wheel problems.

 + -1 moresee above - overall this a nice place run by nice people who seem to really put extra TLC into cars they service
Description of Work: They performed rear brake service - I brought in my own parts (rotors and brake pads). They installed them. The amount I spent was more than expected mainly due to the time it took to do the service. In the long run, the extra time they took could very well benefit me as installing pads and rotors normally does not take more than 45 minutes for 1 axle. The labor for this was almost 2 hours but they likely spent time making sure the axle was prepared - it had been over 3 years since my rear brakes were done, so there was a lot of rust to deal with plus my parking brake broke apart as they worked on the installation (parking brake was so rusted out). The people there are very friendly, and I will likely go back when I need other services.

 + 1 moreI like their honesty. They do what they say for the amount they say. It the job costs less they charge you less. It is a family business and they run it like a family business and treat you like a family. I recommend them to others and will definitely use them again in the future.

 + -1 moreI have been taking my cars to Alen for three plus years now. I even took my new 2010 Lexus for oil changes and warrantee work. I find that they are responsive and only do the work that is needed.
Description of Work: I also find that Alen's pricing is much better than the dealer. I just had my breaks replaced and the charge was much less than that of the dealer. The only difference is that the dealer washes my car when it is done. For the amount of savings, I don't mind getting my car washed myself. It is a husband and wife team that owns Alen so they take their work seriously and care about their clients.

 + -1 moreThe price was very, very reasonable. Last time I was in they did some work for me, they gave me a quote and did the work. I went in to pick up the vehicle and they said since it wasn't as bad as they thought it was they didn't charge me as much. It was over $50 less, not a couple of bucks. It's impressive, they are just that kind of people. I've recommended them to a lot of folks. When you have good people like that you want them to stay in business.

 + -1 moreI am not happy with the overall outcome and feel I will have to take my car somewhere else to have their work repaired.
Description of Work: I was told the brakes were frozen and the brake fluid was boiling. We were quoted $500.00 to repair. When I said I could afford the job, I was told if I bought the calipers, rotors and pads they would do the work for $300.00. But the brakes do not work as good as they were before. I called and was told, well, we could try bleeding them again. It seems they didn't know what to do for a not so good job. And the brakes still cost me $500.00
