 + -1 moreThey claimed to fix it but made it worse. now I have to take it to someone to have it repair after paying $700 for nothing. I had the truck back one week and it was worse. I will never take my car to them again or recommend their shop. And I will be call the BBC

Description of Work: Took the car to them to get a second opinion. They diagnosed my car with the same problem as the first garage but charged almost $1,000 less. First garage had 100%-150% markup on parts. I think those margins are insane. | |I'd definitely use these guys again.

 + -1 moreBased on Angies list I took my 2007 Camry to DRIVE. My son drives the car and noticed the check engine light was on. I made an appointment and while driving over I noticed there was no heat. DRIVE agreed to check it out. Vern made arrangements to drive me home and on the way home the Camry started to overheat. The driver (Vern's son) immediately pulled over and called Vern. Vern drove over with some antifreeze and his son drove me home. The problem was a broken water heater which is a huge repair in a 2007 6 cyl Camry (entails engine removal per Toyota dealer). Vern is a licensed Master Toyota mechanic. He was able to replace the pump with a a complete engine removal and saved me from $600-800 from Toyota dealer repairs. We discussed options and agreed upon the most cost effective treatment. I trust his judgement and appreciate his honesty. This is a great option for car repairs, especially Toyotas, although I am confident that he can handle most cars. Businesses like this need our support. Use DRIVE with confidence.

 + -1 moreMy vehicle was in another shop to evaluate a noise (twice). Both times they said there was nothing wrong. The shop said that I needed new spark plugs, tires, shocks, and struts. I took the vehicle into D.R.I.V.E. to get the plugs changed and have my transmission checked. Vern took the vehicle out for a and Omega;drive to check the transmission. Fortunate for me he recognized the noise problem immediately. Vern said the noise was the wheel bearing and the other shop I had taken it into said that the noise wasn't the wheel bearing. Had I not taken the vehicle into Vern my wheel could have fallen off while I was driving. The noise is gone, I don't need spark plugs or tires. The shocks and struts are okay. I would recommend his shop to others. I feel confident about the quality of work that his shop does. I would not hesitate to go back to his shop.
Description of Work: My wheel bearing was bad and my water pump was leaking. He was able to get the parts, install them, and the vehicle was ready for pick up that day.
