Great service, easy to deal with. We called at short notice, and they fitted us in over a weekend which was great. They arrived on time, wrapped everything carefully, and then unpacked just as carefully and efficienctly. Straightfoward and easy to deal with, I would hire them again!

These guys worked extremely fast, yet they were very careful with my belongings. They provide free wardrobe boxes and pack up the closets for you, an added bonus. They finished an hour earlier than they had anticipated, saving me at least $100. Scheduling was super easy, and they are very punctual. I would use The Professionals again, no question.

I guess well except for language barrier. Supervisor spoke English. others(3) very, very little. Would I use them again: the answer is maybe.........

They not only were punctual but early and called me to make sure it was ok. The movers, Modesto, Erik and Gonzalo were fantastic. They took extra care in every item they moved. They made my move day a breeze. I would definitely recommend them and use them for any future moves in Chicago.

I have used The Professionals several times now, and I am always pleasantly surprised. I have had different teams each time, and have found them to be courteous, careful and often early... In a word -Professional. It is nice to be able to schedule a service and know that they will be hardworking and respectful (of both self and others.) I will continue to use The Professionals and have recommended them to friends.

After using other movers in the last, I was ready for this move to be a mediocre (at best) experience. I didn't know moving could actually be hassle free until the Professionals guys showed up on time, moved us out of our place and into our new place within 3 hours, didn't break anything or complain about anything. Such a relief. We're using them again to help us get a palette of ceramic tile from the store to the house. Love these guys.

They were quick and on time. My large furniture was well wrapped and protected. Everything arrived fine in record time.

Second Chicago move and the first time I used the Professionals Moving Specialists. Booking: I booked my move LATE and the woman that I spoke to at Professional Moving Services was fantastic! I explained the issues I was having with my building elevator and she found a time that would work--although not ideal--she told me to check back, closer to the move date and see if someone cancels. I called two days before my scheduled move still..no luck on moving the time of my move. Two hours later, she called me back and was able to fit me in the morning. Great service--she could have easily just kept my original time but she went above and beyond to help. Moving: The movers were scheduled to come between 8-8:30. They knocked on the door at 8:02. They were quick, professional and very accommodating to my many requests. Jorge was a good leader--he made sure that everything was exactly as I wanted it before they left. Great work!

The service we received from the Professionals was spectacular. Moving can be a stressful experience, but the Professionals made this move the easiest I have ever done. From scheduling to their estimation process to the actual move, everything ran like a well oiled machine. When I called to schedule my move, they were very prompt and polite. Many people are moving in the fall, but they were able to give me my preferred date without a problem. Then for estimating how much the move will cost (an often tricky prospect) they have you do an inventory of furniture and a guess at how many boxes you will have. I sent that on and they got back to me within a day with the final estimate and bid for the job. I sent that back to lock in the date. Later in the week I realized that I underestimated the number of boxes, and they were able to quickly update the estimate. As for the move day, the movers showed up on time, and immediately got to work. They included wardrobe boxes so while I was loading those with the hanging clothes they were loading all of the boxes into the truck. They worked so quickly that I only just had time to finish with the wardrobe boxes before they were done. Finally I cleared out so they could move the furniture. Moving into the new house was even quicker. I had to move quickly to keep up with their questions about where I wanted everything! In they end they were so efficient in getting all the work done, that they came in well under the final estimate. I can not recommend these movers enough, they made what could be a miserable day into an enjoyable one. I was able to enjoy the new house and they took care of everything else. I will definitely be telling my friends to use them in the future.

This company charges by the hour and they hussled the entire time, not wasting a second. I would definitely move with them again. Also, they offered to rearrange any room set-ups I did not like. Most importantly, my stuff felt SAFE with them and was in perfect condition upon delivery.

i looked on yelp to find movers b/c the idea of a big move is stressful and i found the professionals moving specialists and they got good reviews so i called them. i have to tell you it was a fantastic, almost stress free move. they took my information and emailed me a quote and they estimate on the high side so you are not shocked when bill comes in higher. So they estimated 6-6.5 hours and the day of move they showed up EARLY (which is unheard of), we spoke and i gave them the instructions of what is going where and they went and got supplies and were off to the races, they finished in about 4 hours, had packed everything and loaded on truck. i was moving cross country so did not have them unload but i have to say i drove from Chicago to LA and when i arrived, the truck was packed so well, i did not have one broken item, not a dish, not a wine glass. i was so happy!!! i highly recommend THE PROFESSIONALS MOVING SPECIALISTS bc they are professionals and they are amazing. THANK YOU!!

I had a great experience moving with The Professionals moving company in July 2014. They sent 3 guys who wrapped all the furniture and carried it to their truck. They were extremely efficient and followed directions well.

I was sure our move would take four hours or more (and was quoted 5-6 hours by another company) but the three guys from The Pros got it done in 3.5 hours, including driving from Lakeview to the suburbs at 8:45am. These guys hustled and had a great attitude the whole time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know.

Without a doubt the best move we have ever had: 1. Green Boxes were incredibly convenient. Dropped off and picked up when they said they would. Boxes were clean and saved a ton of time not building and breaking down boxes. 2. Responsiveness up to move date was great. Had a few changes and questions and nothing was a problem and they were always very responsive. 3. Moved us and packed and then unpacked kitchen in only 7.5 hours. They sent a crew of 5 because of packing work, but made not go faster and in the end probably paid the same as I would have for 3 people who would have taken longer. 4. Movers were friendly and professional. Everything went where I wanted it. Asked them to set kids' rooms up first. Arrived at new house at 12:30 and had lunch delivered. They asked me when kids would get home and I told them around 3:00. They told me they wanted to set up their rooms before eating! 5. Cleaned up after themselves. No mess left behind! 6. Did all of this in only 7.5 hours.

I worked with Shifra to make arrangements for the move. She was very responsive and professional. She worked with me on the estimate and my inventory list. She was very patient up til close to the last minute when I submitted my final inventory. On moving day, there were 6 moving men and two trucks. The movers arrived about 20 minutes early, and didn't start loading the trucks until we gave them permission upon confirmation of our insurance policy that we'd bought separately. In the end, they didn't charge us for those 20 minutes. They moved very quickly, took direction very well, and none of our items was damaged (only a few minor scrapes on the walls of our old location that we were able to go back and touch up; although, we did purchase an insurance police from a 3rd party provider). It was expected to be an 8 - 10 hour job, but we were very organized and they were very efficient, so it only took 5 1/2 hours. We were glad about that, as it freed up the rest of the day for us to get some other important things done. We were able to account for every box afterward and were relieved that nothing seemed to be missing. Overall, these movers were honest, decent and hard-working.

Jose and his team were the best. They were on time, got to work right away, worked non-stop and filled 2 trucks and moved us without a glitch. They took great care wrapping the furniture and there was NO damage to anything. They were a great group- hard working and very polite. They office staff did a great job of quoting the move, were very professional and called me to make sure everything was on set for the move. I am highly recommending them!!! I thought their price was very fair for all the work they did. They don't nickel and dime you.

These guys were awesome!!! They were friendly and professional. They wrapped EVERYTHING. They were on time and they finished EARLY. The actual cost was less than the estimate. They brought everything up to my 4th floor walk up without a scratch or ding. I would surely use them again in the future.

I just used The Professionals for the second time, and they did a terrific job with my move once again. I paid to have them pack us, and not a thing was broken in any of the boxes. They were incredibly careful in the handling of our furniture, as well as making sure that our walls and floors weren't damaged during the process. I would 100% use this company again and recommend to family and friends.

A great move! The movers were right on time and got to work right away. They worked fast and asked me the right questions to ensure I was getting the service I wanted. I was moving from a 3rd floor to a 1st floor across town, and the entire move took only 2.5 hrs including travel time. They asked me to check their work to be sure I was satisfied. There was no pressure to tip although I did tip them. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Oscar and his crew arrived right on time and knowing we only had the building freight elevator for 3 hours worked magic getting all of my furniture and boxes out of the apartment in just over 2 hours. Then when we got to the house they spent over 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get a large dining room table with non-removable legs through a very tight doorway. After finally succeeding I thanked Oscar for his efforts and he responded "we never give up". The crew certainly lived up to their name...the Professional Moving Specialists.

Were prompt in responding to our interest in their services - this is the second time we've used them. The movers were slightly early, which was good. The foreman was thorough and fast in reviewing the contents of the apartment. The team of 3 was speedy with loading and unloading the truck. Nothing was damaged during the move. They were quick, careful, and punctual.

was not a fan of the payment method. However the guys who moved me, made this move the best, easiest, most enjoyable move ever. They came and they packed everything really really well and secure. I had an all white leather sectional, and a huge glass and wood coffee table. They packed both items very securely and moved me without a scratch on them. they were very friendly and personable, and professional. I will always go with this company for every move!

I completed the questionnaire that the Professionals provided and stated that we needed multiple trips because of of our furniture was being moved to storage about 20 minutes away. All other furniture moving companies quoted multiple trucks (2-3), however, the Professionals did not indicate the number of trucks they were sending. 7 men showed up promptly at 8AM and worked continuously until about 10:30PM. Most of the other furniture companies quoted us at $7,000-$11,000, so we thought the price was far more competitive than any other moving company. I wish they actually sent an estimator out for an actual quote, especially with a move as large as ours. They move everything carefully and wrapped items adequately (including precious artwork). They did however, bend our TV stand a bit (due to placing it on top of an uneven surface during the move). I guess I should have just spoken up when I was uncomfortable with the way they secured it. In addition, when it became apparent that our move required an additional truck, nobody could get a hold of the office to request one. Outside of that, the men themselves did a fantastic job and I will likely use them again in the future.
