Taylor Made Landscape

They were on time, worked until done, and left me with no mess. All of the information relating to the new shrubs was provided to me upon completion. Verbal instructions were also provided regarding watering new shrubs. The job looks great and I will know how beautiful when things begin to grow and bloom. Very nice, very professional.

Taylor Landscaping got rid of Ivy, plant growth, tree growth and replanted everything. Even though the front needs mere work, the quality of the original work was excellent. The space for gardening is small, and so any chaos or disorganization is immediately noticed. MY goal this year is to get Maureen Taylor into my garden as early as possible to find out the problem with the front garden and to solve it. The quality of plants has been excellent as is the quality of work. The soil, amount of sunlight or neighbors' plants overtaking mine might be at the heart of the problem.

Maureen and I began emailing in February, but the weather delayed our first meeting, as there needed to be no snow on the ground for her to see my garden space. Once she arrived, she listened to what I liked, what I currently had in my garden and we brainstormed ideas. We walked to two gardens in the area that I liked and talked about them in relation to mine. Maureen asked great questions and took photos, telling me she would send me a garden plan within two weeks. True to her word, I received an amazing garden plan!

We were VERY pleased with the transformation, and this work was a huge part of the beautiful wedding we were able to host. Maureen was organized, listened to what my vision was for the yard, and was able to help create that vision. Her team that does the paving were so precise, we cannot even tell where the old pavers end and the new ones begin. The whole team worked very hard, and did their work with pride and knowledge. Next landscaping project we would not hesitate to go to Maureen's company.

We are very happy with the work done on our property by Maureen Taylor and her team at Taylor Made Landscape Design. We would highly recommend her company to anyone with landscaping needs. The process from initial contact to the final installation was pain free, and unlike many contractors, we never had to wait long for her to respond to any question or concern we had. And, ever since the work has been done on our front and side yards, we regularly receive compliments from our neighbors on how great it all looks! We agree?Thank You Maureen!

Maureen was very responsive via email and phone. Came out right away to take a look at the job and gave the best bid of three solicited. Once the down payment was received, her crew was out as soon as I gave the okay. They got here before I left for work and had the old sidewalk out before I even knew it. I returned home to find a very nice paver landing/sidewalk in front of my house. There was one tiny error. The two of the pavers were not in the same pattern as the others. Her crew boss came out the day after I called and the error was fixed by the time I got home. The crew was fast and they cleaned up the mess so well you could barely tell work had been done that day. Walk looks great. They also laid in some sod where they had to dig out during construction. I will be calling them for my next landscape project.

She was thorough, answered all our questions, offered workable solutions, and brought up some points we hadn't considered. She also offered advice on our trees, even though they aren't in her scope of work.

I contacted Maureen and she got back to me within two days. We set a date and they were out working right away. Everything was done very quickly and they did a great clean up afterwards.

We were very pleased with Maureen and her crew. We contacted her in mid-April, and she was able to get us on the calendar fairly quickly. She provided us a list of trees to evaluate to pick which worked best, and sketched out what the landscaping would look like. The work was done in 3 waves - patio, then backyard, then frontyard. She provided instructions on caring for the sod and new shrubs, along with all the plant specs. Everything is growing nicely and our yard looks 100x better than the dirt pit it was.

They understand my budget and my desire for rainwater management.

I contacted them to do some work I needed done at one of the properties that I manage. Although they don't preform the work that I needed done, they did offer me a timely referral to another company.

I hired Taylor Made, but with both our busy schedules have decided to schedule job for late summer. Maureen's plan is exactly what I'm looking for & her price is competitive.

It didn't go forward as they never made a landscaping plan.

The space is a bit challenging bc there's no easy street level access, although there are options to bring stuff through the house and also through the attached condo building. ultimately after seeing the space, she declined to put a bid on the project bc of the logistics of getting materials into and out of the space, and I felt it was without really evaluating the options. No doubt they do good work, particularly out in the burbs or where there is ample lawn space and access, but probably not the best option if you have a city space like a back patio or roofdeck UPDATE: After reading Taylor Made's reponse - i've upgraded overall grade to a B and quality to N/A. I definitely would rather have a firm be open and honest about their limitations than overstep their boundaries on what they are comfortable with. However, at the same time, I feel like living in the city, there are potentially a number of similar spaces with roofdecks and tough to access patios that create such obstacles in doing landscape work like this and felt like this needed to be pointed out.

Clean up and build out of retaining walls was excellent. Very prompt. Their schedule was very full, so it was not a quick fix.

Maureen Taylor is one of those people who's found the perfect outlet for her talents. Not sure waht to expect, we asked her to come over and help us make our front yard more inviting before putting our home on the market. Upon arrival, she immediately reeled off an entire improvement plan, offering ideas that would never have occurred to us. We asked her to proceed, and she executed beautifully. The whole effect is clean, fresh and inviting -- exactly what we'd wanted but could not have pulled off by ourselves. We definitely got our money's worth from this business located in our neighborhood. Of all the improvements we've made to get our house ready to sell, this one has had the greatest impact. The whole front yard has been opened up and made to look cared-for and inviting. We did some scaling back from the original plan to keep the project within our budget, and Maureen coped well with that. She has a wonderful eye for landscape design, and we'll definitely call her again when we downsize to our new, smaller home. Taylor Made Landscape has earned our highest recommendation.

Maureen was a pleasure to work with. She was always on time. She was quick about getting us the quote and the whole process was about as seamless as we could have hoped for. We had one small miscommunication but Maureen quickly and generously fixed the problem without a fuss. Will do biz again.

Maureen is fantastic to work with. I felt that she really listened to our goals and provided a variety of ideas that would help our yard match our vision. She was always prompt with answers to our questions, even after the work was completed, and her team went above and beyond to ensure that the job was well done, the work site was cleaned up and that we were happy with the results (they relocated a plant for me rather than just pulling it and continuing their work). I sincerely hope we need landscaping assistance in the future so that we can work with Maureen again!

She was a little slow but she did a good job. It took a while to get it going. She had a great personality. It was $1800 maybe for the front parkway and it was $1600 for the back area. We have excavated out. I would use her again in the future.

It went great! First of all, kudos to Taylor Made Landscaping for even responding to my initial phonecall. I know that summer is a busy time for landscaping companies, but I contacted TWELVE landscaping companies to try to get people out to do an estimate on our project, and only TWO responded. Taylor Made sent Maureen out for the estimate, and not only was she personable, but she had great ideas and recommendations for me that ended up making the project smoother and result even better! Also, the estimate was less expensive than the other we received. We planned on a day to start the work, and a crew of men showed up promptly in the morning, worked SOOOOOO hard all day (they didn't know it, but I was working from home and peeking out the windows now and then to check the progress), and cleaned up nicely at the end of each day. The work was done in two days, and we were extremely happy with the results. We had a couple tough obstacles in our paver patio including a round sewer cap and an electrical ground to work around, and it all worked out great. We will definitely be calling Taylor Made for any additional landscaping needs we have in the future. THANK YOU, Maureen & crew!

Our front yard was horrible--everything was the same shade of green and shaped like a ball when we moved in last year! An ornamental tree was also too close to the house and needed to be removed before it caused problems--like crashing into our sunroom. (Not to mention how it covered some cool architectural details on our house.) Maureen met with us a few times to determine to discuss our personal tastes, budget, and goals for the yard. She sent us a proposed plan very quickly, including reusing as many of the original plants as possible in new places, and even relocating a few mature bushes to a great spot in the back yard. Her guidance on this really helped with our project budget. After we approved the final plan, she got the job scheduled within a week--Maureen's crew got it all done in one day and the yard was transformed! She has also been really responsive to follow-up questions and helping us understand how to care for our new plants. One neighbor has already used Maureen for their project and two more have asked us for her phone number! At our block party this past weekend, several neighbors were raving about the changes to our front landscape. We will work with Maureen again to turn our backyard into something as beautiful as the front.

No work done, but meeting went well.

Maureen did a phenomenal job with a unique situation. We requested that she design a front yard landscape with plants that we rescued from a tear-down. Not only did she come up with a beautiful design, but she squeezed us in to her very busy schedule because we had a bunch of plants that needed to get into the ground as soon as possible. She listened to our ideas and incorporated them seamlessly into her design. We love the result! We are still in process and will be finishing the planting of the shrubs and tree in the fall. She's wonderful. I can't say enough good things about her. She's professional and does a wonderful work. She's prompt and the plants that he showed was beautiful. She's very knowledgeable with what she do. She's warm and friendly person. I had a wonderful experience in dealing with her.
