Efficient, excellent work.

There are a few items that were not completed, but overall a job well done.
John is a Man of integrity who was good to work with.
I would have liked to have had the job completed sooner as promised, but it wasn't
and we eventually got to a point where my sister was able to move back into our family home.

I was initally impressed with his professional attitude and willingness to negotiate the price. After the first meeting I was really looking forward to making Mr Evans my new go-to contractor for a variety of projects. A few days before the work date Mr Evans emailed me the proposal and advised that he would need $425.00 in the morning before starting and $400.00 upon completion. The project was scheduled  for 7/12/14 with an arrival time between 830am to 9am. Mr Evans showed up at aprox 930am. I had to work and left Mr Evans and his crew at the site. He called me about 1pm stating that the job was done. I was surprised that the work was completed so quickly.  Keep in mind the floors were badly stained, and this is a rental unit, so to keep costs down we asked for unstained / natural polyurethane. However he used a tinted poly which made the floors look rich and slightly darker. At first glance I was happy with the look of the floors,  until my husband pointed out ALL of the gouges. (In years past my husband and I have refinished the floors in one of the apartments with NO gouges. We were very careful. Needless to say we vowed to never again refinish floors ourselves).  When asked about all the gouges Mr Evans offered no solution.  It took us days to catch up with him to pay him the deposit. Mr Evans is a very busy man, he is very hard to get ahold of by phone. Usually text messages worked better. Mr Evans work was OK except the gouges. I would suggest being on site while the work is being done, maybe that would resolve any concerns.

Met me at the store gave me advice on which would be the better door for my doorframe. My porch slopes downward. The slope is not discernable to the eye. He had to build up the threshold so that the door was hung levelly - not on an angle, sloping with the porch. He did not charge extra even though this was not discovered until after he had visited the site and quoted a price. He also put up trim on the inside so that there would not be a gap between the frame and the door. [The old door covered this area.]   He cleaned up everythng, installed the locks, etc. I am very pleased with his work.

It was pleasure working with John and his team to repair the drywall in my tenant's apartment. They were organized and highly professional. Scope of Work: first unit repaired opening created due to replacement of a broken pipe. second unit: restored wall that had sustained water damage.

This is the 3rd house they rehabbed for us. They sanded hardwood floors and replaced carpeting, replaced all windows, redid all bathrooms and kitchens and the porch, repainted the inside completely. When I showed the house to  the rental prospects, they all liked the workmanship.

We entered into an agreement with Supreme Solutions to renovate a rental unit on our property.  The agreement included the following:
 - removal of defective floors and wall
 - installation of new subfloor and drywall
 - installation of new carpet tiles in living and bedrooms
 - installation of vinyl tile in kitchen and hall
 - installation of interior doors and closet doors
 - installation of new light fixtures
 - replacement of bath vanity and kitchen sink base cabinet
 - replacement of bathroom floor and wall tiles with ceramic tiles
 - bathtub reglaze
 - painting throughout unit

Work was agreed to begin on July 5, 2011 and set to be complete between July 19th and July 26th of 2011.  Work crews were promised to be on site Monday through Friday, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.  Work was completed on September 8, 2011.

It's unfortunate that there were issues with reliability in adhering to the work schedule and communication because the quality of the work was satisfactory.  Hopefully, additional experience will render improved results for future clients.
