Description of Work: Rexx Rug removed all existing carpeting and installed new wool carpeting. The salesperson was very helpful and patient. I ended up going with an in-stock carpet, which was a big cost savings. The install went great.

Description of Work: After getting some seepage in our basement, Rexx Rugg was able to replace a large portion of the rubber padding and repair a torn seam. We have wool carpet and we were afraid of long term damage. Neal was able to give some great advice and his team did an awesome job. I highly recommend Rexx.

Description of Work: I ordered new carpeting for a bedroom in an apartment in an apartment building I own. Rexx Rug, Josh, showed me various samples of in-stock carpeting, and made recommendations of carpeting that would wear well, clean well, and show well to prospective tenants. He gave me several samples, which I took to the apartment and put in place. I selected one of the samples, and ordered the job. The installers came on the day and time we agreed upon, removed the old carpeting and padding, and installed the new carpeting with new padding underneath. They were very professional, and left the job site clean and vacuumed the new carpeting before they left. I also had them remove the carpeting from the hallway stairway, as I will be doing stripping of paint, making repairs, securing the treads, varnishing the trim and banisters, and eventually recarpeting the stairs and landings. They worked quickly and efficientlly, and hauled off all the old carpeting. Rexx charged a very reasonable fee for all of its materials and service. I will use them again.

 + -1 moreTHEY ACTUALLY SUGGESTED I BUY ONE OF THEIR LESS EXPENSIVE CARPETS (BECAUSE I WASN'T 100% CONFIDENT OF MY BASEMENT'S WATERPROOFING). THEY SOLD ME ON A BERBER THAT THEY HAD A VERY LOW PRICE ON ($1.60 PER SQUARE FOOT) SINCE THEY BUY IT IN BULK AND STOCK IT. THE INSTALLATION WAS FANTASTIC. THE WAY THEY CARPETED EACH TREAD OF THE STAIRS - WRAPPING THE CARPET AROUND THE TREADS, IT WAS PRACTICALLY LIKE A WORK OF ART. IT'S VERY UNUSUAL FOR ME TO BE SO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY THE QUALITY OF WORK.
