REXX RUG

The job was very well done! The price was the lowest of 3 estimates that I received and they were very flexible and understanding about what I needed. The work was done with a lot of care and they made sure that I got exactly what I wanted. I was undecided about how I wanted the landing done so they took the time to show me my options. I am completely happy with the results and would definitely use Rexx Rug for any future carpeting or flooring needs.

We went to Rexx Rug's store and spoke with a very helpful salesman there, who helped us choose the carpet we wanted installed. A few days later, someone came out to our home to measure the rooms involved, and a week or so later, installers came out. We asked them to do one room on one date, and the other two rooms the next week. The first room went fine, but the next two rooms had to be pushed back a week due to a scheduling error by Rexx Rug.

It was an excellent experience from start to finish. In the store we were shown several options and price points. We were allowed to take the sample books home for our top two carpet line choices. At home we were able to select the best color, in the context of the color scheme of the kitchen (where the carpet starts) and paint color of the staircase. At the installation, the carpet layers arrived exactly on time, were very professional and courteous, and cleaned up after themselves.

Excellent! The money is worth spent. REXX has provided us the best values for their materials and services to meet our needs (i.e., very durable materials, the best quality for the price). I shopped for three Angie's A list companies. REXX provided the best values among the three.

They were very conscientious and courteous. Service and choices were very good. Their showroom was helpful. Installers were efficient and kept the house clean.

Great. All I wanted to do was get my condo ready to sell with fresh carpeting. I went to the store, discussed the carpet that was right for me. They came out 2 days later for the estimate. I explained I had an open house that weekend and needed it ASAP. They were able to fit me in the next morning which I'm very thankful for. Unfortunately, he was in such a rush, I had to move all the furniture back in myself.

This is the second time that I have used Rexx. I had hardwood floors installed in December 2006. I was recognized the moment I entered the store. The process was quick and efficient. The floor was measured the next day and I had a estimate on the spot. They called the next day to schedule installation for the following week. When they arrived I had to reschedule for the following day since I forgot to reserve the elevator. Rexx was very accommodating. The next day they arrived promptly They worked very efficiently and once again did an excellent job. I moved the furniture out of the room so the cost was a little bit lower and adjusted.

They give you personalized attention. Very efficient.

I needed to have my carpets stretched in preparation for showing my condo. I heard the only company that can stretch the carpets is the company that installed them. So, I called Rexx Rug (they installed my rugs 5 years ago). I left two messages, but they never called back. I was very disappointed. They have now lost any repeat business from me, including future carpet installation at a new home I am buying.

In light of experience noted above, I wanted to pick a middle of the road grade. But a C is not fair given that I did not get a price or have the work done given that I wanted to make my selection in home. Therefore, I'm giving them a "B."

Excellent experience--from picking out the carpet to the installation. Would use them again. The installer came when scheduled, cleaned up, and even left an extra swatch of carpet for us.

Rexx Rug came to my house, reviewed the situation and told me they would recommend an inspector and then get back to me with a quote. I never heard from them again!

They were friendly, curteous and reasonable.

Rexx Rug provided a pleasant experience from start to finish. The sales representative patiently explained how the varieties of carpet differ, and answered all my questions politely and thoroughly. I was greeted warmly every time I entered the store. All the store personnel were friendly and helpful. The installers arrived on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. The prices were quite reasonable ( I had shopped around) and the service was exemplary!

We needed to have carpet replaced immediately after the long holiday weekend. We called the Friday of that holiday weekend and they came over that same day to give us an estimate. Specifically the foyer and the apartment needed to be replaced. They brought commercial grade carpet and berber carpet samples that they had in stock. Neal the guy who gave us the estimate was helpful on providing insight on what was more durable and neutral. They brought over a modest selection, but were responsive and friendly. The installation only took about 3 hours.

Rexx Rug was fantastic. They listened to what we were doing, and offered great suggestions. They respected our budget and the fact that this was a one room job. The carpet looks great, the installers were prompt and professional. This is a family owned company that does a fantastic job. Worthy of an A+.

Our initial experience with Rexx Rug was excellent. However, the person we were dealing with referred us to Neil who was responsible for coming to our home to provide input. While Neil was a little slow to set up an appointment, he did travel a bit of a distance to our place to give assistance. At that time, we told Neil that our contractors were already working and we needed to move on ordering tile ASAP. Unfortunately, this idea didn't get across to Neil. He promised to get us availability and cost EARLY Monday. Our plan was to choose tiling that would be readily available, and we had options. I phoned Neil on Monday. After 4 calls, practically begging Neil to call us back, I received an e-mail (addressed to Don, not my name) late at night that did not include availability. The next day he was to be out of the office. We were forced late Monday night to scramble and go elsewhere due to Neil's nonchalance. A competitor found what we needed, and we had the tile the next day.

THE ENTIRE PROCESS WENT EXTREMELY WELL. THREE CHEERS FOR REXX RUG! AND FOR KEVIN HUSEK, SALESMAN FRED, ESTIMATOR, AND THE INSTALLERS.

Our experience with Rexx was exceptional through out. At the initial consultation, Steve Goldman helped us find exactly what we wanted at a price point below what we thought we'd have to pay. Their showroom selection was excellent. They sent by FedEx an additional large color samples to our home, and were on time for the initial measurement appointment, and all subsequent scheduled installation dates. Calls to Rexx were always returned promptly, and they always phoned us prior to appointments to remind us they were on their way. The installers were courteous, and their attention to detail was superb. They also cleaned up before leaving. I highly recommend Rexx to anyone, and would use them again in a heartbeat.

THEY WERE ABLE TO MATCH THE CARPET FROM SEVEN YEARS AGO. THEY THEY CAME TO THE HOUSE TO DO THE ESTIMATE AT NO CHARGE. THEY DO QUALITY WORK AND ARE HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL. THEY HAVE A STOREFRONT IN CHICAGO. FRED, KEVIN AND NEIL ARE VERY NICE TO DEAL WITH.

THEY NEVER CALLED BACK TO DISCUSS THE JOB. THIS WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING AS THEY ARE A LOCAL COMPANY, AND WE WANTED TO SUPPORT THEM.

THIS COMPANY'S SALES AND SERVICE STAFF ARE EXTREMELY PLEASANT AND COURTEOUS. IN THE BEGINNING, WE EXPERIENCED A FEW GLITCHES WITH SCHEDULING THE MEASURER. THE WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS PREVENTED GETTING THE PRELIMINARIES FROM GETTING DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER SO THAT CARPET INSTALLATION WOULD BE COMPLETE BEFORE MOVING IN. ALSO, GETTING MY CHOICE SAMPLES PROVED TO BE AN UNEXPECTED CHALLENGE. ALL IN ALL, THEIR COURTESY AND FOLLOWUP MADE UP FOR SOME OF THE EARLIER HARDSHIPS. THESE GUYS ARE GREAT IF YOU'RE NOT IN A HURRY.

REXX WAS GREAT. WE CALLED, STOPPED IN THE STORE, AND THEY ENDED UP LETTING US TAKE A FEW OF THE SAMPLES HOME TO TEST AGAINST THE WALL COLOR, VERY HELPFUL. THEY CAME LATER THAT DAY AND MEASURED, CALLED A WEEK LATER AND SET UP AN INSTALL DATE THAT WORKED FOR OUR SCHEDULE. THEY WERE VERY PROMPT AND QUICK DURING INSTALLATION. I AM PLANNING ON USING THEM AGAIN WITHOUT HESITATION.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE'VE USED THEM. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE SALES, GOOD SERVICE, VERY GOOD PRODUCT AND CAREFUL INSTALLATION.
