Mr Duct Chicagoland

Great experience -- my email was very quickly answered by a return phone call to schedule service and provide an estimate. The two men who showed up to do the work were on time and professional. They answered my questions and gave me recommendations on the best way to maintain both the washer/dryer combo unit we have, as well as the AC & furnace. During the service, it was determined our humidifier was no longer working properly, so they shut off all applicable valves/water sources and provided a (general) estimate as to how much a replacement would cost. This is regular maintence for us, which we do at least once per year and I will definitely call Mr. Duct to have the work performed in the future. We will also likely contact them regarding our humidifier replacement.

The 2 guys that showed up were great. They were on time and went right to work. We moved in to a new construction home so there was a lot of drywall dust. They were able to show me the before and after. I'm happy with this company. I used them on my old house as well.

It went great! I was able to get serviced shortly after my phone conversation with a rep. The servicemen also pointed out some other services that I would need down the road and how soon I should schedule my next cleanings.

It went well. They went over the cleaning services they provide. I was not interested in paying $400+ to clean the entire duct vents at the time.

The technician arrived on time, explained what he would do and how he would do it and was quite professional. He even showed me what the vents sytem looked like, before and after cleaning - not just on one of the lines, but on any one I chose to see & I chose a lot. They were very respectful of our home, which was very important to me because we just had it painted and replaced all the carpetting. They even had protection devices that they put near the corners of our walls so that their air hose would not damage the paint or wood trim. It took 2 guys about 3 hours to do our entire house, which is less than 2,000 sq feet. The technician also pointed out a problem with our duct-work in our crawl space that is costing me $$$ and I intend to have repaired.

WOULD ALWAYS RECOMMEND A HEATING FURNACE COMPANY TO CLEAN OUT FURNACE. TO MANY WIRES/ COMPONENTS. I OPTED OUT FROM ALLOWING THEM TO CLEAN THAT. OVERALL I AM GLAD I PURCHASED THIS DEAL & HAVE A CLEANER ENVIRONMENT OVER ALL.

The work performed was efficiently done and apppeared satisfactory. Probably b/c the property is relatively new, I could not notice a tremendous difference between videos taken with a probe in the duct before and after. The filter humidifier needed to be replaced and an installation fee was added to the total cost. A/C was found with low freon level and needed to be added. I was pleased that a further little more discount was offered at the end considering the various services that were requested.

they cleaned the ducts and vents but damaged paint around all vents, as they didn't cut the paint, and ripped vents of the walls which resulted in chipping of paint around vents and on vents. also Mr Duct inserted the old dirty filter into 'cleaned ' furnace , when I complained, customer service said no new filter was present, so they put in whatever they had, also customer said I should have complained on site ( I wasn't there, and my wife could not leave our children to go into the basement to inspect / supervise the crew the entire time) they didn't clean dryer vent well or at all, cannot figure out if they did , as the vent is totally lose and full of debris when I called customer service, the person was very rude and deflected all responsibility to me, also lectured me about the quality of his service and work by rreading some bogus work description Mr Duct tried to sell some UV lamp to be installed to clean the furnace while running from germs, which I didn't ask for - they realized my wife was worried about germs and bacteria and tried to use that to sell her more products and services

Mr. Duct was right on time and cleaned our dryer vent. Our dryer stopped working because of the clog in our dryer vent line. Mr. Duct was able to remove the obstruction of dryer lent and other misc debris and get the vent cleaned out. Most of the lint that was left near the exit point outside our house was not cleaned up but they did their job as directed. The cost was a lot higher than I wanted to pay, but they were highly recommended on Angie's List so we went ahead and didn't shop around. I think $175 for this service is very expensive. I think you will be able to find cheaper alternatives but they may not be as responsive and professional as Mr. Duct.

They showed up on time. They seemed to know what they were doing. The pictures of the ducts before and after and they look a lot cleaner. Well, one thing I do is to be prepared for a lot of disruption and noise while they're in your house, they didn't tell us in advance exactly how they'll go about the job and it turned out to be more noise than we had expected, but in reflection it was certainly appropriate to the job, but I just wish they had told us beforehand what it was going to be like.

They were very responsive from the moment I emailed them through Angie's list. The gentlemen that showed up to perform the work were extremely polite and professional and did an excellent job explaining the process and what would be happening for the few hours they were in my home.

The two technicians George and Ernie were very professional and curtious. They provided a very through explantion of the process and provided a view of our air ducts. Both took care to cover our floor and minimize dust throught the operation. Once completed we again were able to view the air ducts showing all dust was gone and the ducts clean. During the operation both technicians answered all questions to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend Mr. Duct. An excellent job done!!!!

I was thrilled by the service. The results were amazing. Before they came we were sneezing and coughing. Now the air is very clean. I don't think they were expecting to take out the volume of matter they did, but the price still remained the same.

the workers were thorough, went around to each register and cleaned out, as well as cleaning the main trunk line with a huge 8" diameter vacuum hose the one thing i was disappointed about was the video evidence. i thought they would be able to show me video that would go more than a couple feet into the ducts - they showed me a before and after looking down a register for about 2 feet ( roughly the same distance i could clean out with a standard vacuum attachment ). i was hoping to see a before and after of the main trunk lines and the other parts where the ducts run horizontally between the ceiling joists, which is where most of the junk has probably accumulated. but this was partially my fault, as i had a chimney sweep scheduled the same day by another company. and of course both groups showed up at the same time, so i was split between the two and then forgot to ask the workers to show me video of the inside of the trunk line. would have been nice if it were offered, without me having to ask though

Two workers arrived promptly at 8 am as scheduled. They explained in detail the steps of the work. They also took a camera into one of the vents to show us what the vent looked like before they began. We just purchased our home six months ago and were unsure when the previous owner had the ducts serviced. The cleaning lasted for about two hours. It was a little loud and frightened the cats which was to be expected. Once the cleaning was finished they took the camera into the same vent to show us the difference. Apparently the previous owner had dogs and there was a massive about of dog hair in the vents. They did a wonderful job, were very courteous, professional and we will definitely call them again.

They were amazing. I called them in the morning to schedule an appointment for the following week and they asked if I wanted them there that day, they showed up within the hour. They were efficient and clean. They were friendly and they showed me everything that was in the vents by a camera that they inserted into the ducts. They cleaned up after themselves well, and they were in and out pretty quickly - it only took them about 2 hours.

My experience with Mr. Duct was great and I would definitely use you again! Miguel and Miguel came, used shoe covers, and quickly completed the work. Everything was left clean. Thank you.

Great! I called to schedule on Monday around noon. I got a price over the phone immediately (the price above reflects the Angie's list discount), then the crew (Miguel and Miguel) were at my house by 2:30 that same day. It took them about 3 hours (I had not had the air ducts cleaned in 10 years!) and they did a fantastic job, showing me everything they were doing. I had a great experience. They were very professional and courteous. I was also thrilled that I got the job done the same day that I called - I was taking the week off of work to get some stuff around the house done, and it was nice checking that one thing off my list so quickly.
