Overall good job, one minor issue that was rectified quickly with out any incident. Would definitely use them again and recommend service.

I considered two companies before going with Mr. Duct. Their technicians were licensed and I felt I can trust their cleaning process more. The price was more with this company though. The guys who came out worked for hours and went through every vent in the house. They did miss one of the vents that was covered with a furniture, but the company sent another crew the very next week and corrected the problem. We were happy with the service.

They did a good job. I felt like I could trust them.

The two man crew arrived promptly and inspected the furnace area first. They removed their shoes and put all their gear on covers that were protecting my floors. Next they explained fully what they were doing and how they would complete the job. They brought in the hose through the side door and put down a protective cover so that the carpet in the basement would not get dirty. After they opened one of the return vents he showed me the inside of the ducts with a camera to show me how dirty they were. They were very, very dirty. They went room by room to clean the blowing vents first, then they went and cleaned all the return vents and ducts. One man cleaned out the ducts with an hose attached to an air compressor and the second went behind him cleaning and then replacing the vent covers and then the second man cleaned up the area with a shop vac. They replaced my air filter in the furnace-which they told me to have on hand for the day of the cleaning. I had put my two cats in one room so when they went in that room they let me know so I could be sure they did not get out (since the side door of the house was ajar by the large hose). They were very professional and it only took about 2 hours to clean all the vents (which I am not sure the previous owner of the home ever had done). When they were done they showed me how clean the ducts were with the same camera. After they left and I turned the AC back on I had to raise the temperature on the thermostat because it was feeling colder than usual in the house, and I know getting the ducts cleaned helped with that! It will save me money on the electricity bill now that I do not have to set the thermostat at 73 degrees to keep the house a comfortable temperature (75-76 degrees). The house is very comfortable with the thermostat set at 77 degrees and it is 86 degrees outside right now. They put everything back where belonged and cleaned up well. I will be using them in the future!

They were on time, professional and courteous. Thoroughly explained the process and cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely use these guys again. We used an Angie's List coupon, which made the price very reasonable compared to other quotes we were getting.

We would HIGHLY recommend Mr. Duct and give them a 5 star rating! Both Jonathan and A.J. (Barrington office) went above and beyond the call of duty! I appreciate that they BOTH took the extra time to answer ALL my many questions and allowed me to take pictures/videos of their work. Our ONLY concern was the equipment (vacuum) would not start in the beginning and needed to be jumped, but once it was started, all was good from that point on. They give good and great work but I have a little issue with them. I do not know if I could really recommend them. They were rarely getting work with you that much. There was father and son and I recommended them. They charge me an initial fee and then he come out like something would not work with them and come out then charge you again. Well, that is a little bit too much. They did good work but they get initial fee from me a couple of times. After recommending them, they did not try to give you a discount of 5 or 10 bucks.

I used him in my own home a couple of years ago. They arrive on time. They do a real thorough job and they go over it and show you how different the ducts look when they are done. They are fine, I didn't have a problem with them. I thought their price was a little high but I wanted a good job done and I knew that they do a good job. They are very careful when they bring their equipment in that they don't mar your walls or anything. We had newly painted walls when they came in and I was a little nervous about that. They were very careful.

I was able to book the appt within a few days. I was very impressed by the scheduling service and their responsiveness. They said they would arrive at 8am and may only be delayed a few minutes if there was traffic. I picked the first appt so I could ensure they would be on time. They were an hour late and made no acknowledgement of their tardiness. They sent a camera thru the ducts and showed us the dirt. They spent the next 4 hours cleaning and then showed us with the camera how clean they were. They was 10 years of accumulation there so it was needed. I was happy with the service. When Nora asked if I was happy with the service I told her I was, but disappointed they were late. I was a bit frustrated that I was told by her that they never committed to be there at 8am and that the delay was only traffic. Those seem like dishonest excuses to me. I thought the work went well but the follow up was unprofessional.

The serviceman arrived within the specified time frame, explained the procedure, supplied a live video feed and completed the task in one hour. The left my home unscathed,were prompt, courteous and highly professional. Overall I am very pleased. Share on Band of Neighbors: Yes

They made me so happy! Not only did they do a great job with my dryer vents, they found another problem and fixed it. It wasn't obvious, and I would have never noticed it. Now my dryer does a great job. Before they were there, it took a few cycles to dry my towels, not it's done in one.

They were really good. Came out and did a great job.

Mr. Duct was great. They showed up on time, were friendly, finished quickly, and were very tidy.

Everything went very smoothly, considering I have a loft condo and the ducts are 16 Ft off the floor. All in all, this was a great experience. They went meticulously through each yard of the duct work. It was also my first experience with their technology. Overall, it was nice, but took a while due to the nature of my home.

My dryer repairman said that before he could repair the dryer, the vents needed to be cleaned and suggested I call Mr. Duct. The Mr. Duct workers came out and cleaned the vents quickly, on time and without any problems. However, when the dryer repairman returned, he insisted that the problem was still with the vent. So Mr. Duct came out a second time and re-cleaned and inspected the vent. It turned out that the vent had been cleaned properly the first time, and the dryer repairman had overlooked a problem with the dryer. Despite this, Mr. Duct did not charge me extra for cleaning the vent twice.

They were very responsive and came on-time for the appointment. We did not agree on the repair that was needed so work was not done.

UPDATE: Owner, Keith Thompson, called after reading our review. He offered to inspect our ducts and explained that our experience was not standard operating procedure for his company and that his technicians should have cleaned our furnace components. He felt badly for our experience with his company and wanted us to know that his company is reputable. **Whoever you hire to clean your ducts, make sure they let you see the cleaned components of your furnace. If they won't show you what they have cleaned, call the owner of the company.** There were two guys that came out. I specifically asked that they would clean out the evaporator coil and pan as part of the cleaning. The guy said he would do that. As they were leaving I asked if they cleaned the unit. They had already put the unit back in so I could not see it. We found later that they had not cleaned the part. We called them and they sent a new crew out to clean the part. Later, we had a service technician come to work on the air conditioner. That technician found that there were paper towels and cleaning equipment that had been sucked into our ducts and were sitting in the air conditioner. This was left by the air duct cleaners. The men that came out were very nice, but their system of how they go about doing the work was not good at all.

Appointment was made over the phone. It was easy to set up and the person quoted the price of the work to be performed. David,the technician,showed up right on schedule and the work area was cleaned after he was done. David was a professional and courteous. Will definitely use Mr Duct again in the future!

The phone call to book was handled professionally and all my questions were answered. The guys that came out were polite and professional. Great job and great service.

Cleaned out my dryer air duct, installed a cover on the outside vent to prevent birds from flying in, and replaced the foil duct that runs out the back of the dyer. Cesar was excellent - ask for him.

Made an appointment but they did not pay attention to my request and set the date for 7 days beyond when they said there was an opening. Spoke with them to correct that issue and then was told they could come out on Saturday that same current week. Service guys called earlier than the appointment time and told me they would be by earlier than scheduled. They would call before arriving about 15 minutes away from house. They then did not call ahead but showed up 15 minutes ahead of the new adjusted time and were about to leave while I was getting ready before answering door. Their conduct was not rude but was sufficient to let me know they did not appreciate being kept waiting even a minute. The service call went noticeably downhill from there (Actually from the start, truth be told.) They had dirty, grimey hands, did not take off or offer to take off their shoes and proceeded to pull off the inside vent tube and spent approximately 5 minutes blowing out the vent. The outside guy vacuumed the vent cover and some of the venting? They did not offer to show me any material removed and even when I asked they showed me about 2 handfuls of debris that might have not even been from my vent. When asked they refused to clean the dryer intself and immediately called the manager on duty and put the phone in my hands so I could hear it from him. This was so very far from a decent experience I regretted having anything to do with them at all. I have no idea is they really did clean my venting properly and absolutely will never consider them for any type of service in the future.
