Move-tastic!

Exactly as promised. Showed up on time, worked efficiently, paid attention to detail, no breakage, cost came in as estimated.

The movers, Keith and Karl, called about an hour before their scheduled time (in the afternoon) to say that they were available early if I was ready, and otherwise, to confirm that we were still on. When I was ready, they showed up quickly, went on a walk-through of the apartment to see what needed to be moved and what I was going to move myself, and then efficiently loaded. After they finished, including finding a creative solution to move a box spring that seemed to be slightly too big for the staircase, they drove to the new place, parked in an unusual but ideal and unobtrusive spot, and unloaded even more efficiently than before. Everything went very well.

They were really good and responsive. They're really easy to work with and they worked really hard. The guys that came out were quick and beat the quoted time.

I think the professionalism of the guys, they work pretty hard and it was a reasonable price. We actually had an internet where our T.V screen has been damaged, but their manager actually gave our money back to buy a new T.V. It's a great company. I would definitely use them again in the future.

They lived up to their reviews. They were very cooperative and responsive. We went through some changes, first having to move to storage, then buying a new place and having to change the move to the new house, and then due to mismatched closing dates, we had to have them hold things on the trucks for 2 days. They handled also this effortlessly and warmly. Their staff was, in all cases, exceptionally friendly. The moves went without a hitch. They did everything we asked, cheerfully and quickly. My only suggestion, very minor gripe, is that if you use them to pack, they will charge you by the box rather than by the hour. There were cases where larger boxes contained only two items, so the high charge to pack does raise an eyebrow. They were great, though, and we would use them again.

Great. Workers all spoke English, were attentive, on time and polite. They took great care in double wrapping mirrors and other breakables. They were courteous and took their time making sure everything was in place and to our liking. I found their pricing to be reasonable and competitive. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

Called these guys the day before a last minute move. Person answering the phone provided all the details. Contract was emailed and billing was on their I-pad. The 2 movers could not have been more professional or pleasant. The were also FAST and really did hustle to get the job done as quickly as possible. I highly recommend them.

GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT - one for every member of my amazing team: Keith, Christian, Jack, Michael, Greyson and David. These guys arrived 15 minutes early and had my entire 3 bedroom (2 floor) apt empited, wrapped up, bed disassembled and everything on the truck by 11:41 ! Entire move to my new 2nd floor apt was completed by 3ish. These guys were professional, kind, courteous, appreciative and hard-working. I also appreciated my dealings will booking the move and everyone on that end. Emails were instantly answered by competent people. I would MOST DEFINITELY use this company again and recommend it to everyone. Moving is such a hard and stressful even anyway and these guys made it so much easier

Marco was great, the team was excellent. They were on time, courteous, and wrapped everything professionally. They were very patient and gentle with our things. They were very nice and took their time. Everything was great! It took about 4 and a half hours all together. They even helped us carry things down to the basement which was not part of their duties.

It went well, there were about 4 or 5 guys so including myself and a friend, a lot of people. They were focused, respectful and did their job without issue.

We had two crews, one for packing and another one for moving to storage facility. Jordan, Daniel, Jahi & Travis packed everything taking great care and being very efficient at the same time. David, Jordan, Jack and Joe took care of the actual move to storage facility. You should see their "speed-packing" technique, amazing! I highly recommend using Move-tastic! They delivered within budget estimate and time window. Two thumbs UP!

The Move-tastic team was prompt, professional, and took great care with my belongings. They were super fast and finished about 45 minutes before schedule. Nothing broke and they took every opportunity to make sure I had what I needed, belongings were in the right place, etc. I am very pleased.

Excellent professionalism and communication. We packed ourselves and then used 4 guys to wrap the furniture and move everything. All of our items were handled with care and would recommend Move-tastic. Great experience as we had many stairs in our new home and completed the job within the estimated window. 2 larger items did not fit up the top stairs and they exhausted all options to try to make it happen. Dissembled and reassembled furniture to ensure the new house was setup before they left.

They were truly move-tastic! Our team of guys was incredibly efficient, and did a fantastic job with the move, with no damage whatsoever. They got the job done in a bit less time than was estimated, and we couldn't have been happier with the work they did. And the entire process of getting an estimate and scheduling was very professionally-done. We'd highly recommend them to anyone moving!

It went very smoothly. No damage as far as I could tell with lots of stuff going up to a third floor walk up. They put stuff where we asked them to and the even put things back together they took apart. It did take longer then the estimate and as a result cost a bit more but still came out less then the guys that came out to do the quote.

Our four person team, led by Nate, was awesome the day of our move. They called us about 30 minutes before their arrival and showed up right on the dot of our scheduled start time. All four guys worked their butts off efficiently and carefully moving our heavy furniture (disassembled and reassembled two large beds), fragile items, and random leftover pieces that never made it into boxes. I feel terrible that I waited over a week to write this review because I forget the names of each of our four movers - and its necessary to give them a huge thanks. We ended up giving them a decent tip because they finished in just 3.5hrs and well inside the original time estimate. I'm hoping we don't have to move for awhile, but will definitely use Move-tastic again when we do.

Great! Highly recommend Move-tastic. They were on-time, helpful, fast, and careful with our things. Had a great crew, they got everything done in just 2 hours with a four-man crew. I can' t believe how easy it was.

I thought Move-tastic! did an excellent job. They were the only ones that were available to come an help me to avoid fines and rental charges. They were quickly responsive, on time, very courteous, worked very hard, and worked very well with me. They did miss somethings for packing but they did what needed to be done so I was happy with the service.

Perfect move. Within budget, on time, and extremely courteous. Not much to say since the move was uneventful. Uneventful is the best possible outcome for a move. Thanks to Luis, Christian, Karl, Alfonzo, and David for a job well done.

The last time I moved was February 2010, two days after the Chicago blizzard. Cars were still sitting on Lake Shore Drive when Move-tastic came to my Lakeview apartment for the move. I called them on the recommendation of a friend, and honestly, given the huge piles of snow, I thought they'd (understandably) postpone the move. They showed up with shovels and salt, plowed a pathway to the truck, and made it happen. My next move was in July 2013, given my excellent experience in 2010, I called Move-tastic again. They showed up on time, and once again, they did not disappoint. The estimate was for 4 guys, but one guy didn't show up for work. When the crew showed up, they reduced the cost of the estimate to reflect the missing guy. The whole move was still done quicker with 3 guys than was planned for 4. It was 96 degrees outside, but they moved quickly, were professional, and extremely polite. I would hire Move-tastic again in a second.

I hired Move-tastic based on their proximity to my original home, their good reviews, and the fact that someone came out to give me a quote rather than had me fill out online forms or list things on the phone. So they had a good first impression. I hired Move-tastic to pack my home, move it to storage while I closed on a new home, and then move us again from storage to the new home (Feb 2013 - July 2013 timeframe). Packing: They sent 5 packers - all arrived early and prepared. They were all nice, careful, and efficient. After unpacking my move, I realize they had broad descriptions of what went into each box, which was kind of hilarious and not an issue. For 40 or so boxes, primarily kitchenware and some books - I had just 1 broken drinking glass. Not an issue. Gave them donuts, coffee, water, and tipped - appreciative. First Move: 5 movers, all arrived early and prepared. Disassembled my furniture that needed it (crib, dining table, etc) and not a single bit of damage in relocating anything. Gave them donuts, coffee, water, and tipped - appreciative. Unloaded everything into storage with no trouble. Took less time than estimated, therefore less $. Second Move: 4 movers (Jeff Kendera, Antony Del Barrio, Marco Rojas, and Jordan Matthews) all arrived early and prepared. While I got their names, I didn't save the ones from earlier pack/move although one of the packers was part of this move. They were all careful, friendly, and efficient. The entire move took almost half the original estimated time which means less $. Not a scratched wall or damaged piece of furniture. Everything went incredibly well. Gave them donuts, water, pizza, and tips - appreciative. The thing about this company, at least from what I experienced - is that they want to do a good job. All the movers/packers I met were in their 20s and maybe that's the best equation for a successful move - lots of energy. Everyone I emailed with, spoke to, and worked with at Move-tastic was great (Jason, Jeff, Melissa, and Dana). I would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone in the area.

I hate moving with such a passion I'd rather eat live bees in h***, or roll around naked in shards of glass and jump into a pool of lemon juice. Get the picture? After officially signing off on the paperwork on a new place I figured I'd better start finding movers. I asked friends and I got a couple recommendations, but came onto yelp to find the top rated movers and came across Move-tastic! I got a competitive quote and moved forward with it. Moving day came and they were fifteen minutes early, which is great, and moved me from my place in Wicker Park to my new place in Bucktown in three hours. I was going from a three bedroom with two floors to another three bedroom with three floors, so I figured I was going to be paying what the estimate was, or more, but it came out to be around $200 less than the estimate, with the truck fee and material fees included. Aside from that, they were very friendly, walked through both places to ensure they knew what they were moving and where to put the stuff in the new place and didn't break anything and were also super conscious of not dinging walls, hitting wall fixtures, etc. So, as you can see, I highly recommend Move-tastic! They were trustworthy, hustled while also being careful, and took a lot of stress out of a naturally stressful day. Thanks guys!

The guys at Move-tastic were awesome! Arrived early and finished early. They did an estimate prior to our move and recommended 2 trucks and 6 guys. They were done in less than 6 hours moving 2 adults and 2 kids out of a second floor apartment into a 3 level home. We had lots of stuff to move around at each place, too, including a piano across newly-refinished floors. No scratches! No complaints!!
