This is the 2nd time we used Move-tastic and couldn't be happier. The 1st time we used them, they moved us from our 3rd floor Condo to a high rise downtown. The 2nd time we used them, they moved us out of the high rise to a storage unit in the suburbs. In both instances, the move included multiple stops that required moving in/out furniture and extra boxes. The teams were clean, quick and professional ensuring all our belongings were moved properly and safely. We were so happy with their work, that we're using them for a 3rd time to move us out of storage and to our future home in the north burbs. Unfortunately I don't have the entire team's name on me that did the move, but Nate and his crew that moved us out of the River North condo on 5/27 did a fantastic job and finished the move 2 hours early and $250 below the estimate amount. Fantastic job!

Movetastic recently moved us from Buffalo Grove to Grayslake, Il. Yes, they do suburban moves, too. They even did an on site estimate at our request. They came in $200 under, at the end of the move. We got estimates from two local companies, too, but had a better feel for this company and had seen them move our daughter. They even advised us we might get a better price from a local mover because of the travel cost. Wow! Turned out they were very competitive. These guys are fast and energetic, working non-stop. Very impressive. They carefully wrapped our furniture. No breaks or chips. A very successful move thanks to them.

For our move from our one bedroom apartment to a house with a basement and a second floor we hired Move-Tastic. Move-tastic came highly touted from our friends so we felt very comfortable using them after getting a quote and seeing that their rates were right in line with the industry norm. On moving day, they showed up on time, took a run through the house to come up with a plan to move our items and then went right to work. Unlike some other movers that I have seen in the past, no boxes were taped together, tape handles made and stacks of 4 or 5 boxes lugged on the backs of the movers. This ruins boxes and leaves tape marks in unwanted areas. The moving team took appropriate caution with fragile materials and used two people to move all our furniture. It took them about 2 hours to completely fill the truck and then we headed to the new home. At our home we had just had the floors redone and asked that nothing be placed on the floor without felt pads, once again this did not phase the moving team and followed with appropriate caution. They were also very responsive to making sure that our boxes made it to the correct parts of the house. At one point we had a box spring that was unlikely to make it up the staircase. The team took complete care to make an attempt to move it up the staircase with out damaging the walls or staircase. Once it became apparent that it would not they provided us with a couple recommendations and placed the box spring in the spare bedroom. It took the team about 2.5 hours to move everything into the home. The entire team from Move-Tastic made our move easy from the online reservations, to the checks prior to our move, and the move itself. We will definitely recommend Move-Tastic to all our friends and families!

The crew was polite, efficient and fast. Everything was very carefully wrapped, large furniture was disassembled and reassembled at the new location. It was all pretty painless!

I had to change my dates and times multiple times and they were very flexible. They had quick response times. The team that came out was on time, efficient and got the job done ahead of schedule. I would definitley recommend them.

The service was excellent. They were prompt, worked hard, and were very fast. They wrapped everything and they were very courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. Nothing was damaged and they just did a perfect job.

Move-tastic rocks!! We had such a great experience with these guys, from initial estimates to the day of move. The guys are super cool and take the stress out of moving. They arrived on time, worked very quickly and wrapped everything with extra care. They were very respectful and worked with me to make sure things went into the correct rooms. I will never use another company again... i highly recommend Move-tastic!! :)

Move-tastic was great. The team showed up right on time and were amazingly quick. The estimate that they provided was spot on. I had a few hard-to-move items, but they found a way to make everything work. Nothing was broken and they did a great job of reassembling my furniture at the new apartment. The team of people they sent were friendly and professional. They will be my first stop if I have to move again.

The guys were efficient, friendly and considerate, and we sailed through the day. They did a great job with our bulkiest, most awkward items, and carefully wrapped all of our furniture. Nothing was broken, they finished ahead of the estimate, and we were very satisfied. I liked the flat $50 fee for packing and wrapping materials--it's so hard to know how much you'll need.

These guys were fantastic. This was the best move I've ever had. Not only were they punctual, responsive, fast and honest, but they were also extremely careful in handling our belongings. I've never had a move where nothing was damaged, scrapped, dinged or dented, but these guys avoided it all. It seemed like they truly cared. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They were great. They were the best. We were totally ready when they came to our apartment. They helped us wrap up some sensitive stuff like the treasure drawers with some plastic. They said they normally don’t do it and since we trusted them, they went ahead and did it. They were really accommodating and fast. They didn’t break anything. They were super quick and polite. They engaged in conversation and made it really painless. They got to the house very quickly. They were in and out. They asked if there was anything else that they could help us with. They helped us move some boxes around. They were really great. They were awesome. They were super careful with everything, but they were still fast. They were pretty nice. We would use them again in the future if need be.

They arrived right on time, called about 5 minutes before to confirm where to park truck. They were very careful not to damage any walls while moving the refrigerators. They were quick, helpful, and professional. Very happy with the service provided.

Move-tastic arrived on time, and worked very efficiently to load the truck. They handled our furniture and breakables with extreme care, with absolutely nothing broken in the move. The unloaded very quickly and put each box where we asked them to put it. A very efficient, effective move and they were very friendly to boot. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. At the time I moved (a year ago now), I don't think their trucks were big enough to handle a 'big move' (i.e. 4 bedroom house), but maybe they are now. Definitely worth giving them a call and asking, because they were that good!

Great! We had a selection of items we wanted to move to an out-of-state location. Full-service movers were expensive, and I didn't want to drive a moving truck, so we decided to ship our items and hire movers by the hour to load and unload the trailer. The Move-tastic company communicated with me by email and phone, with quick responses. They called on the day to say their last move had gone quickly, and did I want them to come early? I had wanted an earlier time slot, so this was great for me. Three gentlemen arrived and I quickly showed them which items in our basement and garage would be moved. I explained that I was paying for space in the trailer by the linear foot. Two men moved items while the third packed the truck. They had all noticed which things were being shipped, and loaded everything they should and nothing they shouldn't. The man in the truck packed everything high and tight, so I didn't have to pay for extra feet, and he tied them up with rope and protected things with tarps and old sheets. Everything arrived at the destination in the same condition as it was when packed. They were very efficient and completed their work in 1 1/4 hours, but there was a two-hour minimum, so they repeatedly asked me if I wanted anything else done. I had them move a sleeper sofa from the first floor to the basement, which they did without a single scuff on the wall despite going down a tight staircase with a landing. All in all, this was a very good experience. I'm not sure if the price I listed above is exactly correct, because this was a few weeks ago and I paid in cash, but I think it's about right. It included two hours of labor, travel fee (I'm in the suburbs) and an equipment fee for providing that big plastic wrap and a dolly.

They were quick, polite, and generally a pleasure to work with. The disassembled and reassembled my bed, helped organize my new basement storage unit, and were a great moving company. I changed my mind about furniture placement in the new place a few times, and they never complained but were just generally really nice and helpful. I hate moving, but they made it easy

Fantastic - these guys are prompt, work hard, and are very careful. They were very energetic, and they were self-starters, asking what they could do to help, etc. They were honest and fair with their charges. I would highly recommend them for any kind of move, but I was especially impressed with their service for a smaller job. I spent over an hour researching moving companies, many of which had 2 or 3 hour minimums and were quoting $300-$400 for a small job moving a couple items from one elevator building to another just one mile away. Move-Tastic has a one-hour minimum, and they were easily the best choice for a small moving job.

Move-tastic was great to work with, we've had a lot of problems with movers in the past but these guys made moving a breeze. They checked in 3 days before hand to make sure all was on track for the weekend, they also called 15 minutes before arriving to let us know they'd be there. The move itself was painless, the guys were friendly, professional, and incredibly quick. They finished the job 1.5 hours before the estimate, and were literally running between the truck and house at times. Any issues we had were easily resolved and I'd recommend or use them again without question.

Move-Tastic is FABULOUS. I filled out the online quote form and got an email quote the following morning, for 5 hours @ $100/hour for 3 movers plus a $50 fee for the truck. The crew was extremely punctual (literally there within 2 minutes of the scheduled time). They were polite, friendly, and organized, introducing themselves by name . They offered to help me set up my bedframe and move furniture around the apartment after all was moved. The whole job was finished in about 2.75 hours and they charged me for 2.5 hours - no attempt to move slowly or spin out the time to get more money. I even got a followup call to see if everything was OK!

From my first inquiry about using Move-tastic! for our move all the way through our actual move, the process was great. I never though moving could actually be enjoyable but the Move-tastic! team was fantastic. The job was estimated for 4 hours and they worked fast and completed it in 2.75 hours. They could have easily moved a little slower so that they would get paid the original estimate but they didn't and they saved us time and money - that was great! The next time I move I will definitely use Move-tastic!.
