Scheduled job, showed up on time, and got it done on time. Guys seemed to know what they were doing and were very professional. Once the old carpet was removed, there was dust, debris, dry wall sandings, etc., all over the floor, plus tons of staples. Asked them to sweep that up plus get rid of all the staples, which they did, after numerous requests and only after I brought in a shop vac for them to use. That was the only issue. You should have seen the amount of stuff that was swept up, yuck. I do not want my kids breathing that junk. Overall, a great crew. If you do not understand the difference between a good carpet job and a bad one, trust me, it all revolves around the installation and the moving of stuff and tear up and removal of the old stuff. These guys were good. The pricing is not the cheapest, specifically the labor charges, but the job in my case was done right. They left the extra carpet we asked for and helped out with a few carpet issues. Call them!

Overall they did an outstanding job. They were very professional and on time. I would use them again if I had to.

After they installed the carpet there were some sounds coming from the carpet (like cracking nuts), so something might have gone wrong with the install - nothing serious but we'll probably contact them about it. Their service was great, though. They gave us an Angie's List discount.

The new carpet looks great, and the installers did a good job. There are several seams that are well-blended and they came up with a good way to connect the carpet to a wooden staircase.

Recommended to me by my insurance agent. Once I chose to use Home Carpet one I was extremely pleased with their responsiveness and active involvement with my insurance.

They are not the least expensive but are certainly the most professional. The follow up was incredible. They are very reliable. The quality of the work was outstanding.

Mark helped with the design and choice of materials. They worked with the condo management office to coordinate the job. They moved the furniture, reset the TV cable, and cleaned up well. The work was done in a timely manner and they responded well to performing minor detail adjustments.

We had looked at "discount" places and found their prices much higher than Home Carpet One. We had called another carpet co but they wouldn't even come out for an estimate. We visited Home Carpet One on a Wednesday, someone came for measurements on Friday and the carpet was installed the following Tuesday. Although our room was only 10 X 12, we were treated as though we had the entire house carpeted. We even received a "thank you for your business" card after. We will definitely go to them again when we have a much larger project.

I am very pleased with the carpeting and the workmanship installing it. I felt the person assisting me could have provided more help. I had to ask her if there was a special line of children's carpeting--turns out there is & it is the line I went with for both kids rooms. Also, she did not show me the carpet that I ended up using for the hallway; I found it at a different carpet store & then called back to Home Carpet to see if they too carried it. I did like that Home Carpet let me check out a bunch of carpet samples and ordered some for me. They were competitive--matched the price for the hallway carpet. The saleswoman was very prompt in returning my calls. Carpet came in quickly & no problem getting an installation time quickly. I found the installers a bit unprofessional; they argued about tools & one guy left to get something. They broke a light in my ceiling which was below the bedroom & did not offer to clean up or fix the mess. But they did a good job installing.

I spoke with Eddie to arrange a visit/quote, and he quickly set up a person to come out the next day to accommodate my narrow window of availability. The measurer was timely and polite. I then arranged to meet Eddie at the store to select the carpet. He was helpful and provided me a quote on the spot. We arranged for a delivery time. I was not present during the installation, and was not able to see the work until about a week later. The carpet looks great, and the installation appeared to be well done. I do not feel that cost was particularly competitive, but given I had very little time to "shop around" and I wanted to quickly get it done, they were very helpful in meeting those objectives even though I may have paid a little more.

I spoke with Marlowe and set up an appointment for an in home estimate. He was very courteous on the phone. He showed up right on time and showed us a wide range of samples. He measured our basement and explained how much carpet we would need. He quoted us on a mid-priced carpet. Price was a little higher than I had hoped ($2,300 for 720 sq. ft.), but some of that was due to how the basement was configured. He is sending us a formal proposal via e-mail. I am awaiting one more quote before I decide who to go with, but I feel this company is very professional.

They did a very good job. They were reliable, prompt, and very professional. They did the work in different sessions, and I really can't remember how much they charged us for it, but I was happy with it.

From my first visit to the store I was impressed with the salesman who immediately took me to what I was looking for instead of trying to sell me more expensive carpet. The samples they gave me to take home were good sized and free. They were also very accommodating when I thought I would not be in town for the one day sale and agreed to fill out the paperwork in advance. They were also very knowledgeable about the durability of the different grades of carpet and the pad. The installers were very friendly and professional. They cleaned up after the installation was complete and asked me to look at the room before they left to see if I was satisfied. They returned a few weeks later when I noticed the carpet on the stairs was rippling and stated they would come back again if I noticed any other problems. I would purchase from this company again.

Super. Lee was very patient! We had to coordinate payment from the tenant. Lee and his colleagues did a lot of follow up work to make sure it was completed. As in the last three jobs, they did a great job and left the site immaculate.

I walked in to view Amtico, a high end resilient flooring, and the salesman acted completely disinterested in offering any help besides showing me the samples. I asked to have a measurement and the rep was prompt and fast. I returned to the store and requested three samples to take home, but did not hear back for two weeks. I then called to find out they were received, but salesman forgot to call me. I only received two out of three samples and did not get an offer to get me the third sample. I then decided I wanted to purchase this flooring and asked to get a written estimate but after three weeks never received any return call. Its too tiresome to chase after them when I am certain other vendors will be more responsive. I would not use them myself again.

We worked with Bruce Knee and he was very service-oriented, helping us choose basement family room and bedroom carpeting and keeping us abreast on installation process and timing. Their carpeting tends towards the higher-end price points but we bought it during Presidents Day Sale and love it. All workmen came on time, the installers were excellent and really nice, doing it all in a day. 3 months later we had a flood and all the carpeting had to be replaced. Bruce stepped in with another associate to work directly through our insurance company to replace the carpeting. We are in the midst of this second process now.

It went excellently. Salesman very helpful in selecting the right kind of carpeting for a basement very accommodating regarding installation dates. Men came exactly when promised, and completed the job start to finish in half a day.

It went nice. Marlow, the estimator, was professional and he took the measurements of the basement. What we wanted to put in was a nylon commercial rug. He gave us a good reasonable price. He was polite, courteous, and told us how the work was going to be performed. The crew that came in to put in the carpet were Raymond (supervisor), Edward and Junior. They came and moved furniture and put the rug in and cut the edges to make it secure and tight. They vacuumed with their own vacuum and cleaned it. They then put back the furniture. They were very professional and clean and they were courteous, polite and friendly as well. I would refer them to anyone who needs carpet work.

I've used them for 20 years. They have gotten a little expensive lately but they have a good product and they do a good job.

The quote from Home Carpet One came in much higher than any other, on average $3,000-4,000 more. Despite the fact that we'd used them in the past to carpet our finished basement, there was no way we were going to pay that much for the wood floor job.

We weren't too pleased with our salesman, who we really had to prod to show us more than a couple items. When we finalized the order, we were told that they would get around to processing it in a "day or two" and that they "might" call us with the expected delivery date. Just seemed like some very lackadaisical customer service. After a few weeks passed, we tried to get a firmer delivery date but were treated with indifference by the salesman. The folks who did the measuring and installation did a wonderful job and were right on time, so we have no quibbles with the final product.
