Deljo Heating & Cooling

The HVAC technician, Greg, was very thorough, polite, and very clear in answering all my questions -- in one case calling back to his colleague to confirm what he was telling me. My only issue was that my 8AM appointment was somehow lost in the shuffle. When I called, the woman I spoke with was very polite and responsive, and they did get someone out later in the day.

Greg arrived at 2 pm, easily within the 1-3 pm timeframe I was given. He was very nice, polite, and professional. Greg went right to work, and completed his work efficiently, in about 30-40 minutes. Although I'm not an expert, he seemed to do a thorough job. I had a positive experience with Deljo, and I plan to use them again in the future.

Easy to schedule appointment. I especially liked the fact that I could request 1st appointment of the day. Rudy showed up on time. Was politely waiting for 8am before he rang the door bell.

Technician was informative, helpful and not in a rush. Really appreciated his honesty. Would use again for HVAC or water heater issues.

I was pleased with Deljo and their service man, Bruce. Bruce was very friendly, clean and explained what he was doing. The work took a couple hours longer than they expected, but Deljo did a good job at a reasonable price. I liked the company and I liked Bruce and I will continue to use Deljo for my HVAC needs. I rated Deljo a ''B'' on price because the original quote that they gave me was for only one item on my punch list - not the whole job. They called the next day to report their error which I appreciated in advance. In any event, my expense was in line with my expectations, but a lot more the first incorrect quote.

Deljo's service agent was accommodating in answering my questions. It's a new house for me and he showed me how to manage the pilot light on my gas fireplaces. He was also accommodating when I decided I wanted to have the thermostat replaced even though it wasn't scheduled. I recommend signing up for their service plan which includes two seasonal checks, priority service, and other discounts.

We have used DELJO several times. We had two different men come out and each one was very nice and was very efficient in diagnosing the problem. Both men were honest and the repair costs were very reasonable. The repairmen names were Greg and Mann (last name). I would highly recommend this company. When scheduling a service call request either of these men.

THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO HELP ME WITH WHAT I NEEDED, BUT THEY DID REFER ME TO ANOTHER CONTRACTOR WHO COULD. I REALLY APPRECIATED THEIR HELP.

The man who came was very courteous and respectful of my home (taking shoes off, cleaning up afterward, etc.). He also thoroughly explained everything he was doing, and what the final solution was. Nice work!

It took the technician about an hour to clean up and do some regular maintenance. Nice guy, on time, and answered all my questions.

Bob, at Deljo, originally did not get back to us, but when another project came about, he quickly came out to give us an estimate. We chose to go with another HVAC company, as Deljo's quote was twice as expensive as another company for the same work.

First-class experience all around. Very responsive to our initial call asking for a quote. Subsequently, Deljo moved very quickly to remove the old furnace/water heater and install the new equipment. The work was done very professionally, including the Deljo reps offering tips/suggestions for some minor ancillary items. Worksite was left cleaner than when they arrived. All Deljo people we dealt with were very cordial and helpful. We can't comment on the price relative to other firms, since we were so impressed with Deljo, we signed up with them and didn't get any additional quotes.

They were wonderful. When they removed the old, rusted furnace, bits started breaking off on the way out the door. They did a great job cleaning it up. After the install, they explained how to use the new thermostat. They called the next week to answer any other questions and ensure everything was working properly. I highly recommend them!

These folks are great. Well organized and Tom really knew his stuff.

I checked to confirm the first appointment, but the scheduler had been off the week before and couldn't find it so we re-scheduled. I was thrilled when the workman that came out for a 7:30 a.m. weekday appt was prompt maybe even 5 minutes early. He spent a good hour looking things over - fixed a damper that wasn't working correctly. Put in a new filter for the humidifier and brought a new filter for the furnace but it was the wrong style, however I had purchased some new ones from Home Depot and I just put one of those in.

ESTIMATOR AND LABORERS WERE ON TIME, NEAT, AND COURTEOUS. WORK WAS DONE NEATLY AND PROMPTLY. EXCELLENT OVERALL EXPERIENCE.

OUR CONTACT, BOB TURK, HELD OUR HAND THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE, FROM EXPLAINING THE DIFFERENT HEATING AND COOLING OPTIONS IN OUR OLD HOME TO INSTRUCTIONS ON MAINTAINING OUR NEW SYSTEM. HE WAS ALWAYS AVAILABLE AND RESPONSIVE TO ANY QUESTION OR CONCERN. THE WORK CREW, LED BY ROBERT WAS UNFAILINGLY POLITE AND EFFICIENT, AND DID AN IMPRESSIVE JOB AT FINDING WAYS TO INSTALL THE EXTENSIVE DUCTWORK WITH A MINIMUM OF CHANGES TO THE INTERIOR STRUCTURE OF THE HOUSE. THE JOB WENT OFF WITHOUT A HITCH, AND WAS AN INCREDIBLY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE FROM BEGINNING TO END. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DELJO FOR ANY HEATING OR A/C WORK. ALTHOUGH THE PRICE WAS ON THE HIGH SIDE, IT WAS REASONABLE CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT AND THE QUALITY OF WORK PERFORMED.

ESTIMATE WAS 50% MORE THAN COMPANY THAT DID THE WORK (WANTED $4000 FOR THE HOT WATER PART OF THE JOB!?#). ESTIMATOR DID NOT HAVE COST OR OTHER INFORMATION ON HIGHLY EFFICIENT MODELS AT HAND AND WAS TWO DAYS LATE PROVIDING IT. ESTIMATED COST WAS $14,000.

THE ENTIRE TEAM WORKED WELL WITH ME. THEY WERE ALL POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS ON TIME, CALLED JUST BEFORE ARRIVAL AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE WAS GREAT WITH MY 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND VERY PLEASANT AND COURTEOUS. I WAS VERY PLEASED.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK DONE BY DELJO. BOB TURK, THE ESTIMATOR, WAS ON TIME AND SPENT AN HOUR WITH ME LOOKING OVER MY HOUSE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL RETURN DUCT. ALTHOUGH THEIR ORIGINAL BID WAS ON THE HIGH SIDE, THEY REWORKED IT TO BE MORE COMPETITIVE. THE INSTALLATION STAFF WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CONSIDERATE. IN FACT, I NOTICED THEIR RECIPROCATING SAW AND MENTIONED THAT I NEEDED ONE FOR A VERY SMALL PART OF ANOTHER PROJECT I WAS WORKING ON -- THE INSTALLER OFFERED TO CUT OUT THE STUCK BOLT FOR ME. IT ONLY TOOK 5 MINUTES, BUT HE EARNED PLENTY OF BONUS POINTS! THEY DID QUALITY WORK AND CLEANED UP THE BASEMENT WHEN THEY WERE DONE. I HAVE SIGNED ON FOR THEIR ANNUAL MAINTENANCE PLAN.

DUE TO THE FACT THAT OUR HVAC UNIT WAS ASSEMBLED IN THE ROOM WHERE IT EXISTS, IT WAS A REAL CHALLENGE TO ACCESS THE BLOWER MOTOR IN ORDER TO REPLACE IT. THE DELJO REPRESENTATIVE LITERALLY SLAVED AWAY FOR AN HOUR ATTEMPTING TO FIND A WAY TO REMOVE & REPAIR THE FAULTY COMPONENTS. WHILE IT DIDN'T WORK (WE ULTIMATELY HAD A TO TAKE DOWN PART OF A WALL), THE COMPANY & ITS REP DESERVE TO BE COMMENDED FOR THE EFFORT.

GREG WAS COURTEOUS, AND INFORMATIVE. HE PROVIDED SUGGESTIONS FOR A HUMIDIFIER AS THE ONE THAT WAS IN MY UNIT IS EXTREMELY CHEAP. IT WAS ADDED WITH THE ORIGINAL BUILDING REMODEL. GREG SHOWED UP JUST PRIOR TO THE 2 HOUR WINDOW THAT WAS PROVIDED UPON SETTING THE APPOINTMENT.

THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, PUNCTUAL, POLITE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND RESPONSIVE. HE EVEN COVERED HIS SHOES TO AVOID TRACKING IN DIRT. THE COMPANY OFFERED A GREAT PRICE FOR THE SYSTEM THEY OFFERED, AND THEY CAME IN A CLOSE SECOND OF THE 4 WE CONSIDERED. WE DECIDED TO GO WITH A DIFFERENT PRODUCT, AND COMPANY FOR A SLIGHTLY LOWER COST. THE COMPANY GETS BONUS POINTS FOR THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCT (TRANE), THEIR FOLLOW-UP CALLS, AND THEIR VERY POLITE OFFER TO PROVIDE ANY FUTURE SERVICE FOR US, AFTER WE DECLINED THEIR PROPOSAL.

THEY WERE THE MIDDLE BID. THEY WERE VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. WHEN THEY CAME TO OUR HOUSE THEY WERE VERY POLITE. SYSTEMS WORK FLAWLESSLY. LOOKED OVER SYSTEM. VACUUMED AFTERWARDS AND I FELT THEY WERE A GOOD VALUE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.
