Deljo is the best A/C & furnace company I've worked with. After multiple bad experiences with Four Seasons (how they have a good rating on this site is beyond me), a neighbor recommended Deljo. From the first conversation with the receptionist to the end of the installation, I was happy working with Deljo (even knowing I'd be forking over $5K). The company accommodated all of our requests (even challenging ones), and we're very happy with the new AC & furnace unit in our house.

Alberto responded to our service call and was really great! He took the time to answer all my questions and was really pleasant. I'd absolutely recommend them again to anyone.

They were pretty good about it. The price was fair. They were prompt and informative. We would use them again.

My heater thermostat was not working properly. From time to time it would go berserk and did not shut the heater off as it was supposed to when the actual temperature inside the house far exceeded the set temperature of the thermostat which was quite scary. When that happened, I had to shut the heater off manually . I found Deljo on Angie's List and was very glad that I did. The receptionist who answered the phone was nice and friendly. I asked her some questions that she was not sure about so she put one of the owners on the phone. Not only he was very knowledgeable about the products that he offered, he was very nice, friendly and cheerful. He described each make and model, explained its features and told me exactly how much it would cost. The appointment was set up and the technician called me to let me know when he would arrive. He showed up on time. Not only he checked my old thermostat and its batteries thoroughly, he also took time to check the related electrical system, switch and other related device. The technician's name was Greg B. He was very nice, friendly, courteous, patient and knew what he was doing. I had a new thermostat installed and Greg kindly showed me how it worked and made sure that I really knew how to operate it. I am very happy with Deljo service and its team. I would use their service again and would recommend this company to anyone without any hesitation.

The Deljo office and service guys have been great. I don't have a bad thing to say about them. Very nice, prompt, and competent.

Deljo was, as usual, a pleasure to work with. The appointment was made quickly. The technician called ahead of time to confirm he was on his way. He was careful and clean in our house. While Deljo offered to "take a look" at our gas starter, they were upfront that it wasn't their area of specialty. But the technician really spent some time trying to figure out why the gas starter wouldn't light. He checked numerous things for us, and even spent time checking the downstairs, gas-only fireplace, to ensure that was getting gas. The price reflects an annual contract for both our heating maintenance in fall and our air conditioning maintenance in the summer. We've used Deljo several times and have never been disappointed in their service.

Unfortunately, Deljo was not able to diagnose and fix my furnace issue on the first visit, and I was not willing to have them come out again to fix the problem. Mark kindly offered to not charge the $120 for the first visit, an offer which I accepted. It's hard to find that level of professionalism and dedication to customer loyalty these days. Although my problem was not discovered or fixed by Deljo, I would recommend Deljo and would use them again. Jim was sent to look at my furnace, and he was very professional and arrived during the promised window of time.

They were excellent! They charged a lot less than I anticipated, and they were in and out within an hour.

The technician was professional and took the time to explain the work he was doing and why. Other than having to wait for the original appt and parts a very good experience.

Not a problem. They had to come back because I didn't have access to the A/C unit. But They coordinated that with owner without my having to be there. with no additional charge. I even took out a year long maintenance contract that they applied all the work to.

I have a maintenance agreement with Deljo Heating. The Deljo office called and scheduled the furnace maintenance service during a two hour window on a day and time of my choice. When the technician was available earlier than expected, the office called and checked with me to see if the tech could come earlier. He arrived and performed the maintenance services. He was efficient and cleaned up each space before he left it removing the parts that he replaced. When he came into the house, he took off his shoes and left them next to the door. Before he left, he explained everything that he had done.

This company has installed central air and heat in several of my rental units. They are a fairly large company and they do a lot of service work and installation for both commercial and residential. They are very responsive and not the cheapest guys on the block but they have professional guys. A couple of the problems were rather obscure and their regular technician had their ace troubleshooter there to track down the difficulty within an hour. I will continue to use this company.

They did a fine job. They had to come back twice, once because the water flow was horrible after the new water heater was installed and then to fix the gas pipes that became loose. They did not charge us for the return visits and all the staff was very nice.

My a/c was starting and stopping without reaching the temperature I had set it at. It was making a strange noise, as well. Deljo diagnosed the situation, checked all contact points and fixed a faulty water exhaust pipe that was leaking water into the motor.

Two weeks ago we had routine A/C maintenance by non-Angies list outfit. There is a compressor on our adjacent garage roof and cooling coils in our basement furnace enclosure. The compressor was short 2+ pounds of refrigerant. The system holds a total of 7 pounds.The technician installed refrigerant, made a cursory inspection of the system and left. The A/C was working better that night. It was only 11 days later, on a Monday, that we noticed the wet rug in our office area adjacent to the furnace room. When I traced the water to its source I was surprised that the water was coming from the furnace enclosure. Obviously the previous service call did not do all it should have. So, I decided to start all over with a new outfit. I checked The List and read a load of reports. Finally I decided to call Deljo. This was on Tuesday. Andrew came Wednesday. He was early for our appointment, but this was not a problem for me. He was ready for work, polite and very clear about what he was doing. He checked the compressor on the roof and confirmed that it was old but running okay with a full charge of refrigerant. Then he explained the way central A/C units collect and get rid of condensation. He pointed out that the drain pipe was too small by current standards, and possibly clogged. He made a valid case for replacing the A/C now without pressing this to excess. Andrew proposed and explained pros and cons of three possible solutions: New A/C; new drain pipe built into wall or external pump with new PVC tubing to remove excess water from furnace enclosure. Because we have two kids in college, I decided not to replace the A/C if its life could be extended. The pump seemed to be best option for now. Andrew installed the pump and PVC tubing and Pipe and removed old copper tubing. He also connected the furnace humidifier in a much better way than previous, faulty installation. He plugged-in the pump, turned on the A/C, checked for flow, explained the simple annual maintenance routine for the new pump, cleaned up, collected my check and my thanks and left. Twenty-four hours later, the floor around the furnace is drying out, the air-conditioner is working to keep the house comfortable, and the new drain pump is doing its job.

I must first admit that I am getting very jaded with the home service industry. I cannot tell you how many companies fail to call back, don't show up for appointments or don't follow up on work. However, I was very pleased with this AC company. I wanted them to inspect my heating system for possible gas and water leaks. He came on time, was polite, and covered his shoes while in the house. He seemed to do a thorough check and was very helpful. Will use them again.

The AC seemed to stop working so I called Deljo. They arranged to come out the next day. The guy who came out basically changed the filter, checked everything out and told me that if it did not get any better he would come back out and do a more detailed (and expensive analysis). So that actually saved me money. He also explained the basics of HVAC which was nice so I could fully understand how to troubleshoot in the future. All in all a great job and I really appreciate the honest work that saved me money. Will definitely call them for anything in the future.

There was a horrible noise coming from our HVAC fan. I called around noon on a Friday and they were able to get me scheduled for a Saturday appointment early in the morning. I wasn't sure if I would be able to access the AC unit on the roof and needed to follow up with my condo building engineer, so they even called back later that day to be sure that I was able to get access. The woman on the phone that I dealt with was a pleasure to deal with. The repairman called when he was about 15 minutes away from arriving and got there only 30 minutes into the 2 hour window I was initially given. He agreed the noise was coming from the fan area of the HVAC and before he started working on the unit he went through some of the possibilities with me and gave me estimates for what it might cost depending on what he found. Once he got in there it turned out to be large sticker from the access panel had come loose and become lodged in the fan, making the horrible noise. He showed me what was wrong, removed the sticker, then put the unit back in place to make sure it was working properly. A less trustworthy company could have easily told me the unit needed to be replaced at a cost of over $1000 and I wouldn't have known the difference. He even suggested that I schedule the yearly maintenance at a different time so that I could avoid paying the overtime rates. Both the operator and the repairmain were professional, friendly, competent, and trustworthy. After having bad experiences with another "A" rated HVAC company in the past, this experience was wonderful. I'll definitely be using Deljo again in the future for any maintenance and repairs that come up.

I've had Deljo come over before & always thought there quotes were very reasonable. However, I recently had them come by as my the A/C wasn't working properly in the upstairs unit. Overall, JIm was very professional and on-time. The only negative & one that will make me NEVER use them again is that for less than one hour work, where they performed a diagnostic ($89) & fixed the blower cost me a total of $276. I assumed this was for extra material but i was told this was to fix some of the loose wiring. This is extremely exorbitant for an hourly rate. After I stated taht, he mentioned this also covered travel time; their 2700 N. Campbell offices are in total 4 miles from my house.

We needed to replace our ancient central A/C and I found Deljo as one of the higher-rated HVAC companies on Angie's list that was located near our home. It was easy to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Todd was right on time and automatically put paper booties on before stepping foot inside our home. Being a first-time homeowner, I didn't know anything about A/Cs so Todd patiently answered my questions, showed me where the air filter was, etc. He provided a quotation on the spot with all the details and including the Angie's List discount (of course!). I asked him if he needed to measure the "load" in our condo (based on what I read on ACCA's website) and he said no, so he quoted us a 4-ton unit (another company DID do the load calculation and showed only needed a 3 ton, at most). Deljo carried Carrier A/Cs, which we liked, but decided to go with a different company because of the extra things they did (measured the load and could provide a longer warranty on labor and parts, and cheaper price). Otherwise, Todd was very professional and I appreciated his time and patience with providing an estimate.Del

They diagnosed the water leaking problem and replaced the defective condensation pump. They were very professional and efficient.

After replacing blown switch outside, only to blow a brand new one, repairman discovered that the wiring from the a/c on the main board in the furnace had been cut. And since the a/c worked fine last fall, I can only assume that it was the guy from Alltemp I had called over the winter to fix the humidifier that had done the cutting. Made the service call last a great deal longer than it should have. Fortunately he was able to find the correct wiring in a box outside of the board and hook it back up without rewiring the entire system, which would have been much more expensive and time consuming. Thank goodness. And I will never call Alltemp again!

My furnace had stopped generating heat. I called at about 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning and Gregory, the technician, arrived at my place by 11:00 a.m. He quickly diagnosed the problem and tested the solution several times before leaving. He explained exactly what the issue was, and the entire visit was only $100 with the Angie's list coupon. It was well worth the quick and professional service!
