i was in a pinch and they were able to do the job in three days from my call. they were prompt, prepared, professional and finished the job when they said they would. i was unsure about the stain color and they were able to show me enough color options that i felt confident picking the right one. i will hire them again for other projects. the floor turned out beautiful!

I had spoke to peter over the phone he gave me an estimate right on the phone. when he saw what needed to be done the price was what he had said over the phone. he was on time, very professional, easy to talk to. when he finished the flooring job I couldn't get to the home for a few days when I finally did arrive much to my pleasure the floors looked new I would recommend a-1 to anybody as a matter of fact I have another flooring job I have to get done in sept and I will be calling a-1 flooring. no doubt Thank you Juan R

Terrific to work with. Jumped on our project after a company we originally hired took our money and didn't do the work. Peter was very gracious to get us scheduled in a timely manner. The floor looks great and they installed some slate for us as well. The guys are hard working and went above and beyond; staying late and coming out in one of the recent snow storms to finish the job. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

The refinished floor is beautiful! They spent 2 days just preparing the floor for refinishing. I think that's what made the floor look so good. Additionally, they replaced the "shoe" and repainted the shoe and baseboard. That really made a difference.

The owner was very responsive. The job was done when I needed it done. I was under time constraints because of our closing date and 'move in' date so this relieved a lot of stress. The floors look beautiful.

I can't recommend this company. After I moved all of my furniture out of our home, repair was begun on our hardwood floor. However, they left me in the middle of the project with a broken contract, saying that they had taken on too many other customers and couldn't do any more for me. He did try to settle with me financially but did leave me in a bind. Nice guy!.

Highly responsive customer service. We needed three bedroom wood floors refinished within a week. A-One arrived a few days later and finished the the job with two short shifts. Our floors look brand new and we couldn't be happier.

700sq/ft refinish in 1 day. It looks like a brand new floor. Peter gave me the lowdown on the phone because we weren't able to meet in person because of scheduling conflicts but he squeezed my job in with a weeks notice. On-time, dustless, courteous and inexpensive. I would hire them again.

The owner actually comes to your house to take look and talks to you about what you want to do. The others did not even take the to.e to stop by. Plus, A- one came in at over dollar less per square foot. Our new hickory floors look amazing!
