THE TENANTS IN OUR UPSTAIRS APARTMENT HAD REPORTED THAT THEIR HEAT HAD STOPPED WORKING. I CALLED ALL TEMP ON A FRIDAY MORNING, AND THEY WERE ABLE TO COME THAT DAY. THE PROBLEM WAS VERY SIMPLE -- THE TENANTS HAD TRIPPED A SWITCH WHEN THEY WERE HUNTING FOR THE FILTER TO CHANGE IT -- AND FRANK FROM ALL TEMP DIAGNOSED AND SOLVED THE PROBLEM INSTANTLY. WE WERE CHARGED THE $69 MINIMUM SERVICE CALL CHARGE FOR HIM TO GET THE FURNACE GOING. PROMPT, NICE, HONEST. THIS IS THE SECOND SERVICE CALL WE'VE HAD FROM ALL TEMP, AND WE WERE PLEASED BOTH TIMES.

STAFF WAS POLITE THROUGHOUT. CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE ON THE INSTALLATION OF A HUMIDIFIER AND CONDENSER PUMP/TRAY. OF 5 ESTIMATES, THIS WAS SECOND-LOWEST PRICE. SCHEDULED VISIT FOR 2 WEEKS LATER. DALE CALLED THE DAY BEFORE TO CONFIRM OUR APPT., CALLED SAME DAY WHEN HE WAS ON HIS WAY. HE ARRIVED EARLY, WAS POLITE, KNOWLEDGEABLE. WORKED DILIGENTLY, EXPLAINED ALL PARTS OF OPERATION WHEN COMPLETE AS WELL. ALSO SOLVED A VENT PROBLEM WE'D BEEN HAVING, FREE OF CHARGE. THEY WERE REASONABLY PRICED OVER THE OTHER QUOTES. THEY ACCOMMODATED US BY GIVING US PRIORITY SINCE WE WERE WITHOUT HEAT. THE FURNACE TECHNICIAN WAS NICE AND POLITE. THEY ARRIVED SLIGHTLY LATE. THE CLEANING JOB WAS ADEQUATE. I THINK OVERALL IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE AND I WILL ASK THEM TO SERVICE THE EQUIPMENT.

JOE, THE TECHNICIAN, CALLED TO LET ME KNOW HE WAS ON HIS WAY. HE WAS COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL AND WORKED QUICKLY. HE GAVE ME THE ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM EVEN THOUGH THE PERSON WHO SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT DIDN'T LET HIM KNOW IN ADVANCE THAT WE WERE MEMBERS AND SHOULD GET THE DISCOUNT. WOW, THE LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL TEMP IS TRULY ATROCIOUS. I SIGNED UP FOR THE DISCOUNT CLUB WHICH IS THE YEARLY MAINTENANCE SERVICE. THE WORKMEN DO OK WORK, BUT IT IS THE OFFICE STAFF THAT IS MISERABLE. THE FIRST WORKMAN NOTIFIED ME THAT I NEEDED A PART FOR MY FURNACE FILTER AND ASSURED ME THAT HE WOULD LET THE OFFICE KNOW WHEN HE GOT BACK. WELL, NEEDLESS TO SAY AFTER 6+ PHONE CALLS AND ANOTHER VISIT FROM A WORKMAN, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ONE REPLY. IN ADDITION, THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF ME JOINING THE DISCOUNT CLUB OR ANY MENTION IN ANY FILE ABOUT THE PART I NEED. WHEN I TRY TO EXPLAIN WHY I AM CALLING AND WHAT I NEED, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS ARE CONDESCENDING AND RUDE. TRY SOMEONE NOT SO POPULAR BECAUSE I THINK IT IS AFFECTING THEIR WORK PRODUCT.

WHEN I FIRST CALLED, THE MAN SAID I WAS OUT OF THE AREA AND REFERRED ME TO ANOTHER OFFICE. THEN AFTER THAT EVERY TIME I SPOKE WITH HIM ON THE PHONE HE WOULD LATER REFER TO IT AS IF HE HAD TALKED TO MY HUSBAND INSTEAD OF ME. THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED WITH SOMEONE IN THE OFFICE TOO. HE SEEMED BOTHERED BY MY QUESTIONS AND IN A HURRY. HE THEN DOUBLE BOOKED US AND HAD TO RESCHEDULE BUT FOUND US A GREAT INSTALLER. AMIR AND HIS ASSISTANT WERE WONDERFUL! THEY EVEN FOUND AN EASIER BETTER WAY OF DOING SOME THINGS THAN ORIGINALLY THOUGHT. THEY WERE PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. THE PRICE WAS GREAT TOO. MORE EMPLOYEES LIKE AMIR AND THE COMPANY WOULD BE UNBEATABLE.

VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY PROMISED TO COME OUT AND JUST BLEW US OFF, WHEN THEY KNEW WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY HEAT. THE EMERGENCY GUY WHO THEN SAID HE WOULD COME OUT WAS SO PUT OUT THAT HE HAD TO DO HIS JOB. TERRIBLE ATTITUDE, CAN'T BELIEVE THEY STAY IN BUSINESS THIS WAY.
Description of Work: WE WOKE UP AND HAD NO HEAT. I CALLED ALL TEMP AROUND 8:30 AND THE GUY ANSWERING THE PHONE WAS SUPER RESPONSIVE, SAID HE'D HAVE SOMEONE OUT LATE MORNING OR EARLY AFTERNOON. AT NOON, WHEN NO ONE HAD SHOWN UP, I CALLED BACK TO SEE IF THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY, BECAUSE I NEEDED TO DROP OFF MY 1 YEAR OLD AT A MUSIC CLASS. THEY SAID THEY WEREN'T ON THEIR WAY YET, AND TO GO AHEAD. I CALLED AT 3:00 WHEN THEY STILL HAD NOT ARRIVED, AND THEY SAID SORRY, BUT THAT I WAS NOT ON THE SCHEDULE (EVEN THOUGH THEY TOOK ALL MY INFORMATION EARLIER AND GAVE ME A TIME THAT THEY SHOULD SHOW UP). I WAS QUOTED A WEEKDAY DIAGNOSTIC FEE OVER THE PHONE BUT WHEN THE SERVICE MAN CAME, HE QUOTED ME A WEEKEND PRICE. SOME BRIEF CONFUSION THERE. ALL TEMP HAS INSPECTED MY FURNACE BEFORE. I FELT GOOD ABOUT THE WORK THAT WAS DONE BECAUSE I STAYED AROUND AND WATCHED THE GUY WORK. THIS YEAR, THE INSPECTOR WAS A LITTLE STAND-OFFISH AND NOT VERY WARM. BUT HE WAS NOT IMPOLITE AND WHEN HE TOLD ME THE PRICE WOULD BE 69.00 AND I SAID THAT MY PRICE HAD BEEN 59.00 IN 02 (I HAD AN ANGIE'S LIST COUPON) HE AGREED TO LET ME PAY THE 59.00. AND HE DID SMILE ON THE WAY OUT! ALL AND ALL, I WOULD HIRE ALL TEMP AGAIN. I FEEL LIKE I CAN TRUST THEIR WORK. SINCE I HAVE THE SPACE, I WOULD ADD THAT SOME CAUCASIAN REPAIRMEN WHO COME INTO AFRICAN-AMERICAN HOMES, CAN BE A LITTLE RUDE OR COOL. THIS IS SOMETHING COMPANIES SHOULD WATCH OUT FOR AND TRAIN THEIR STAFF TO CORRECT. BECAUSE NO ONE WANTS TO SPEND THEIR MONEY WITH STAND-OFFISH REPAIRMAN.

THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE PART, BUT PROMISED IT WOULD BE DELIVERED AND INSTALLED THE NEXT MORNING. I CALLED THEM THE NEXT MORNING 9 AM AND THEY SAID THE PART WAS IN AND SOMEONE WOULD BE OUT TO INSTALL IT. SOMEONE SHOWED AT 6:30 PM THAT NIGHT, NO EXPLANATION AS TO WHY IT TOOK THEM OVER 10 HOURS TO SHOW UP, REPLACED THE SWITCH WHICH TOOK ALL OF ABOUT 5 MINUTES, THEN LEFT WITHOUT REPLACING THE FURNACE COVER. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER SEEN.

THEY FIXED MY A/C IN MAY AND IT COST $160, THEY ARE NOW SAYING THAT THE FREON IS LEAKING, BECAUSE OF THE VALVE AND IT WILL COST $345 TO FIX IT AGAIN. MY PROBLEM IS THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE REMOVED THE VALVE THE FIRST TIME, BUT THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT BECAUSE OF THE LAW. THEY DID NOT TELL ME ABOUT A $69 SERVICE CHARGE UNTIL THE WORK WAS DONE, I THOUGHT THAT WAS UNPROFESSIONAL AS WELL. VERY, VERY, VERY IMPRESSED WITH ALLTEMP. THEIR QUOTE WAS THE CHEAPEST WE GOT. WE HAD SOME TRICKY ROOMS TO GET TUBING INTO AND I WAS INSISTENT THAT ALL ROOMS BE COVERED. ALL TEMP WAS VERY FLEXIBLE IN ACCOMMODATING ME AND ACCOMPLISHING THIS (AND LISTENED TO MY IDEAS). THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL WITH MY FRAGILE PLASTER. THEY CLEANED UP DAILY AND VERY THOROUGHLY. THEY CAME BACK AFTER CONSTRUCTION WAS FINISHED AND INSTALLED AN ADDITIONAL TUBE WHEN ONE ROOM DIDN'T PROVE COOL ENOUGH. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

THE REPAIRMAN WAS PROMPT, CLEANED UP WHEN THE WORK WAS FINISHED AND HELPFUL IN ANSWERING QUESTIONS. HE GAVE SUGGESTIONS ABOUT GENERAL MAINTENANCE OF THE UNIT TO INCREASE EFFICIENCY SUCH AS THE IMPORTANCE OF CHANGING THE FILTERS IN THE FURNACE. WE ARE HAVING THEM RETURN TO CLEAN AND CHECK OUR FURNACE IN THE AUTUMN.
Description of Work: REPAIRED OUR CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONER. THE UNIT BROKE DOWN DURING A VERY HOT, HUMID SPELL. THEY WERE PROMPT, HAD TO ORDER A PART, BUT RETURNED THE NEXT DAY TO INSTALL IT. THEY ALSO CLEANED AND CHECKED THE UNIT.

WE BECAME DISSATISFIED WITH ANOTHER COMPANY WE WERE USING, SO BASED ON ANGIE'S LIST REPORTS WE HAD ALL-TEMP COME OUT FOR AN INSPECTION OF THE FURNACE IN APRIL. THE PERSON SEEMED FINE SO WE SIGNED UP FOR A SERVICE CONTRACT ($184). IN JUNE IT SEEMED LIKE THE A/C WASN'T WORKING TOO WELL SO THEY CAME OUT FOR THE INSPECTION AND DETERMINED WE NEEDED A NEW COIL ($735). IT WAS A VERY HOT WEEK AND THEY COULDN'T GET US INTO THEIR SCHEDULE FOR OVER A WEEK, WHICH WAS TOUGH. THEY FIXED THE COIL AND SAID EVERYTHING WITH THE A/C WAS FINE, BUT A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER THE CONDENSER MOTOR QUIT SO WE HAD ANOTHER WEEK WITHOUT A/C WAITING FOR THEM TO FIT US IN ($382). THE A/C STILL DIDN'T SEEM TO WORK RIGHT, SO WE CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND FOUND OUT THAT ALL-TEMP HAD INSTALLED THE WRONG COIL, IT WAS TOO SMALL!! I CALLED ALL-TEMP AND THEY AT FIRST DENIED EVERYTHING, BUT I HAD THE PART NUMBERS & THEY ADMITTED THEIR MISTAKE. THEY CAME OUT AND FIXED IT THE NEXT DAY, BUT WERE MAD ABOUT IT. WE'LL NEVER USE TH

I CHECKED WITH SEVERAL OTHER COMPANIES, AND THEY QUOTED ME THE BEST PRICE. THEY QUOTED A FLAT FEE WITH NO EXTRAS, LIKE PER HOUR LABOR. I ASKED THE OWNER WHAT BRAND HE WOULD INSTALL AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THEY PUT IN. I DID GET HIGHER QUOTES FROM OTHER COMPANIES THAT WERE MORE PROFESSIONAL, POLITE AND CLEAN, BUT I JUST WANTED A BASIC WATER HEATER FOR A RENTAL UNIT. THEY FIT MY NEEDS FOR WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. I JUST WOULDN'T USE THEM FOR MAJOR INSTALLATIONS. I COULD TELL THAT, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE, THEY JUST WANT TO DO THE JOB AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ONE. THEY ARE GOOD, BUT YOU HAVE TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT AND HOW IT SHOULD BE PUT IN, SO NO SHORTCUTS ARE TAKEN.
