We scheduled with a technician and he never showed up! We had to reschedule stuff in order to accommodate the appointment. The technician never showed up and the company never contacted us to notify the technician will not be able to come or to reschedule.

The on-call technician for my call on Saturday, 8-4-2018, was Marvin. He actually knows his stuff, and used his knowledge to complete his business here. Problem solved with no head scratching. No slew of time wasting scenarios...went right to the water solution (clogged drain pipe). I can really appreciate that kind of expertise. We might consider 'special request' for future service. Job well done. Marvin will be welcomed back.

Our AC stopped cooling a couple of days ago and they couldn't schedule us till this morning. Anthony showed up early in the window they gave us and was fantastic. He diagnosed the problem, got the necessary part, and cleaned the unit after repairing it, all quickly and for the member discount. I've had great experiences with this company for a few years now. All the technicians have been professional, punctual, polite, and really know what they're doing. They take the time to make sure we don't have any additional questions before leaving. Their comfort club is economical and convenient. After dealing with some real scam artists over 20 years in a very old house, it's pretty great to have found an HVAC company we trust. We'll stick with them for as long as they're around.

I wanted to let you know about my experience with All Temp Heating and Cooling. We decided on All Temp after receiving a number of quotes because they offered the best warranty on parts and labor, even though they were little more expensive. HUGE mistake! The sales rep (John Lillis) never effectively communicated with the service department and it took 4 different visits to finally get every thing installed correctly. After installation of the HVAC system, they came back to install an Ecobee control unit. Then they came back a 3rd time to install the humidifier but were not able to connect the Ecobee controller to the humidifier. In fact the tech left our house and told us to hire a handy man and had "no idea who installed the Ecobee but it's their responsibility to connect the two systems," to which I assured him that his colleague installed it! The first image is what the tech sent me while at work to tell me that he couldn't connect the two units and the second is what he left me with. (Seems like a waste to be sold the Ecobee only to have a piece of junk next to it running in parallel.) After a number of calls/texts with John Lillis, he stopped responding all together. I had to call and ask for his boss, who finally sent over another tech for the 4th visit and that tech also told me that the company who installed the Ecobee was responsible, which again, I had to tell him and show him proof of purchase that All Temp installed the HVAC system and Ecobe unit. It's finally done, after a number of calls and texts, and I still have a hole in my wall and have to repaint every thing (see 3rd image). Hopefully, I never have to have them come back to honor their warranty, I'm sure that will be a circus! I left this review on All Temps' Facebook page, my bucktown neighborhood news page, and will post on Yelp as well.

I called All Temp requesting a service call because my AC unit started making a horrible metal on metal screeching noise. The forecast had 90 degree days ahead and it seemed like a poor time to wait and see if this was a major issue or not. The dispatcher recomended that I turn the AC unit off until the technician, Frank, could come out that afternoon. He came within an hour and checked over the AC unit which was not screeching when he arrived. After a through check of the unit, the screeching returned and Frank recommended a replacement of the motor. He checked if there were motors on hand, went out to the headquarters to pick it up, and was back within an hour replacing the motor. The AC unit is running like normal again. Frank was very professional and through throughout the process.

Alltemp has always had competitive pricing, and we have believed them to be trustworthy. However, we were advised that we either needed 5 lbs of freon to get through the summer, at $150 a pound ($750), or a new unit quoted at $4565 AFTER our membership discount. It was also suggested that we get a new furnace, even though the furnace is only 10 years old, because it is hard to get to behind the AC unit, and the quote for both was $7,777 for the 2 stage 96%. Another place quoted us a comparable Trane a/c for $3162.75 installed ($1400 cheapter). Both AC and furnace quoted at $6032 for the comparable Trane furnace plus a/c. Over $1700 cheaper. A third technician said we only needed 1 pound of freon to get us through the summer, at $100, and said he could offer even more competitive pricing in the Winter/Spring for A/Cs, said there was nothing wrong with our furnace, and it is NOT difficult to get to, as it is a standard attic installation. We paid him the $100, and he threw in an air filter change for no charge. I think it's fair to say, Alltemp has lost my trust after this experience.

Everything went great. We received several estimates from highly reputable companies. Mike Clark gave us our estimate. Mike was professional, knowledgeable, patient, sincere and impressively responsive. Most salesmen are obnoxious, dishonest, pushy, fill in with your favorite obscenities. All Temp offers outstanding products. I corresponded primarily with Mike by email. Between the two of us more than 40 emails were sent. I'm extremely inquisitive & want to have a thorough understanding of all my options & how the various furnaces & AC's operate. Don & Eric installed our AC, Furnace & Humidifier. They were professional, friendly & efficient. The AC started cooling immediately. When they tried turning on the furnace to make sure it was working it wouldn't turn on. They told me that we probably needed a new thermostat which they didn't have in their truck. A week later Anthony came to install a new thermostat. He was able to turn on the furnace after installing the new thermostat. He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly & charming. It's obvious that All Temp hires only EXCEPTIONAL EMPLOYEES that are as STELLAR as the BRYANT products they carry. They realize that all of their employees are a direct reflection of their company. Many companies will hire anyone. This is apparent with all of the rude, obnoxious, unprofessional jerks we all encounter when dealing with other companies. All Temp is lucky to have such AWESOME EMPLOYEES represent their company. Getting new equipment & spending thousands of dollars can be an EXTREMELY STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE. My experience with All Temp wasn't stressful at all. I'm SO HAPPY I hired All Temp. My AC is working wonderfully. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND All Temp to everyone!

A phone call to these guys on a Sunday left a message with the answering service and someone called me back within an hour. Totally unexpected for a Sunday. He asked me if I wanted “emergency service” and told me of the extra charge for Sunday and he gave me the option of waiting until Tuesday with the normal service charge. When I explained to him that I was leaving town for a week on vacation and I asked if there was anyway they could squeeze me in on Monday, I was floored that he said yes! He provided a 4 hour window and also said the tech would call when he was en route. Al, my AWESOME tech called within the window and was prompt and professional throughly! He knew the problem with my AC unit within 5-7 mins of diagnosis. And he had the available part for replacement on the truck. He was very helpful in also “schooling” me with some basic maintenance issues that I had overlooked. I couldn’t be more happy with the service Al and All Temp provided. Fair, honest pricing and going the extra mile for customer satisfaction. Way to go All Temp. Will definitely call you guys back for yearly maintenance and check-up. Thanks!

I had to book a month and a half out but what can you do. The deal was good. I was expecting them to arrive around 8 am but when I called at 8:45 I was reminded they could come between 8 and 1 pm. That’s ridiculous. Who has time to wait around for 5 hours??? That’s worse than the cable co. At around 9:45 I got a call canceling my appointment because they had too many repairs to do. They wanted to schedule for the next week which I was not available for. And considering how booked they were the first time I doubt they’d get me in next week anyways. The only positive is at least they gave me a call to tell me about the cancellation and I only wasted 2 hours waiting for them.

Great. I was able to schedule the service call within a couple of days and the repair man arrived within the time window and was able to find the problem and make the repair within an hour. It was a clogged drain tubing that had to be excised and repaired. I also saved 15% by mentioning that I used Angie’s List to find them.

They found the air conditioning line had low pressure. They pressurized and added dye to see if there is a leak in the line.

All Temp is extremely reliably and fairly priced. Marvin, the technician who preformed my annual AC inspection was professional and efficient.

One of the managers or owner (I can't recall, it was a while ago) stepped in, came out, gave good advice and had their workers come out and maximize it. He was super professional and really cared about the job they could do.

Marvin came out and did an awesome job explaining things that were problematic. He was thorough, methodical and knew exactly what he was doing.

Excellent service! The technician arrived on time and was very professional. He identified the issue, fixed it promptly and completed the task to my satisfaction. Great job!

Dave was awesome. Came in, got straight to work (I was smart enough to listen and have the A/C off for the last 24 hours). Pumped in the proper amount of coolant, did all the proper checks, within 20 min my house was 8 degrees cooler (yippee). No Hinsdale discount(aka up-charge for living in an "rich" city), professional and quick. Cheers, Rico

Excellent. When I called the company and expressed the need to have the unit repaired quickly, the customer service rep found a time slot the same day and was very responsive. The service technician arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. He identified the problem, showed me what was going on inside the unit, what part needed to be replaced and fixed the problem.

I purchased an AC Tune up deal for 89.95. I received an email from Angies List that I had to call the company. This was Sunday May 27th. I called and left a message with what I think was an answering service. I explained I got the deal but I was sure more would have to be checked and I expected it to be more. They were supposed to call on Tuesday which they didn't and when they called on Friday we were told they wouldn't be doing the tune up deals until later in the month the 23rd or 28th. If they aren't going to honor the deals in a timely manner then they should only offer them during their down months. That is 6 days in which we could have gotten another company.

The man who came out was very professional, he treated me with dignity respect.He did a great job.

Marvin was great. Explained everything in detail. Ran detailed analytics, fully cleaned and serviced units, and offered suggestions.

Had my 30 year old furnace replaced by All Temp with a two stage Lennox furnace I’m very happy with my choice. The new furnace is much quieter since it was installed next to the kitchen and is not drafty like the old one. Would definitely use them again. Greg

F grade earned for completely fraudulent sales tactic! I called due to my AC not working properly. The tech who came never went to the roof to even look at the AC. He diagnosed it as a furnace issue and referred me to Jack who promptly sold me a $3,500 brand new furnace. The techs who installed the AC also never went to the roof or confirmed that the AC was working. It wasn't!! When I called back, they sent another tech who came out and told me the problem had been misdiagnosed. I needed a new AC, not a new furnace! Not only did All Temp not offer any type of refund or discount on the furnace they incorrectly sold me, but they tried to lie about the cost of a new air conditioner, saying the full cost was $5,000, but they wouldn't charge me any profit, overhead or labor due to the screw-up. I asked for the expense breakdown and Jack stalled, saying he would email a quote the next day. When I finally got him to disclose the breakdown, the cost of equipment was only $2,000 and they were still charging for labor. With a quick call to another company, I was able to confirm the cost of equipment and installation of a similar unit at $2,495. Obviously, I won't be using All Temp for the new AC!!

Gas leaks fixed. On time. Professional. Helpful advice given about other projects. Most impressive part was the tech had to come back because he forgot to leave me a receipt. The gas company happened to be here inspecting his work. The tech stuck around for the last 20-30 minutes of the inspection to make sure everything was good. Off the clock. Nice to see someone taking pride in their work.

Very well. They arrived just a touch late, but I was able to call them and find out when they were coming. They left the basement clean. Took some of the metal to the alley for the metal pickers to take and the parts that needed special recycling back with them. They even took the cement pad from the old A/C away. Understandably they couldn't check if the A/C was working, but said they would come back when it was warmer to check it. Mike Clark, salesperson, filled out the rebate form for me. Everyone was respectful and pleasant. Quite professional.
