I contacted Appleton Renovations and got an immediate reply from Ken Appleton, which seems to be a rarity from people in this business. We exchanged a couple emails discussing the scope of work, pricing and expectations. Ken was a little more expensive, but the fact that he is licensed, bonded and insured was very important to me. In addition, Ken has an English-speaking crew with NO day laborers. In the end, that differentiator is what sold me on Appleton Renovations. Ken provided a detailed quote, which included a statement of work, which I didn't get from anyone else...and the frequency and speed with communication was outstanding. The guy doing the installation showed up on time, was extremely professional and friendly and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted before beginning the job. After listening to my ideas, he made a suggestion and provided reasoning for an improvement to my plan. We went with his suggesion and I'm very glad we did. The job had a couple complications (don't they all?), but the installer found workarounds and spent as much time as was needed to get the job done to my expectations. They were fabulous. They were absolutely excellent. They were superb. We could not find better people. Though I don’t remember the price, it was a little more than I expected but it was well worth it. We have a 31 year old home and when we bought it, it was a mess. Needless to say there was nothing there, nothing at all. What they build there makes it look like a queen’s palace. It is absolutely gorgeous and I could not be happier. They came they looked at it; he drew a picture and said that it would look good. He did absolutely everything so precise to the letter of law. He put in all the equipment for playing the TV, the stereo all that sort of thing. It is just beautiful. Price wise they are high but the job that they do is so superb. If you want something good you will call them. The price was fair for the work that they did but it was higher than most of those who gave us a quote. Their work is outstanding. Together with it they gave us the TV and everything, you name it we have it something like the theatre system. I truly do not recall their price but I remember them being more than the other companies. The other companies did not do as much as this company did. The workmanship on the cabinets and everything they put in some special gadgets to make the doors close smoothly and gently. It is a great job. They are a pleasure to deal with and I wish that other people were as gracious and hospitable as the gentleman who ran the company. He is sensational. I cannot speak higher of anybody who has ever come to work for us. We have moved around the country and been to many states and this is by far the very best. They were very punctual. If they say they are going to be here at 9 O’clock they are here at 9 O’clock not 9:01. The owner of the company Ken Appleton who did the work is just a magnificent man who did a magnificent job. We will use them in the future.

We needed to revamp our whole house sound system. Ken came exactly when he said and gave me an estimate I had thought was really expensive. I really liked that he didn't push the sale in fact would not start anything unless i went out and got another estimate. I went to Best Buy, called and had another co. come in and even checked prices online. The best price for value, quality, and quantity was hands down Ken Appleton. Thanks so much for the great work and for your patience with all the questions I was asking. :) He never put me off or was late for our appts. He even moved another job he had in order to finish mine in the time frame I begged for. Very nice and professional. Really Great Person.

Ken Appleton came out himself to do the estimate. He was very professional and detailed in his presentation and explanation of options. Cabinetry was built on site after acceptance of plan and drawings. Attention to detail was Superior. This was the best experience with a contractor we have had. Honest, hard working, and takes pride in their work. On time everyday and left the workspace cleaner than when they arrived!

THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS EXCELLENT. THEY DID GREAT WORK AND THEY WERE GREAT WITH BEING ON TIME. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND THEY WERE DONE WITHIN A DAY, LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE.

I WOULD HIRE THEM IN A MINUTE, THEY WERE GREAT. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE VERY COMPETENT WITH WHAT THEY DOING. THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH AND VERY PROMPT.
