When it comes to flooring - if you don't use Stride Construction you are really missing the mark. Stephan (the owner) is absolutely outstanding - quick response, quick and skilled installation - and an absolute pleasure to work with. He and his crew installed two bathrooms with (one) extremely large and complicated angles - excellent job. I can't recommend him enough.

Working with Stepan was a dream come true, we had water damage and didn't know how or why, Stepan investigated and ruled out a shower, and other plumbing nearby. We finally figured out it had been a humidifier that we ran during the Covid period. Stepan replaced the damaged planks and had it finished in one morning at a fair price. What a pleasure to work with Stride Construction! We will use them again on future projects.

We were on a short deadline to have laminate flooring installed in our new (to us) home. I requested quotes from Angi and Stepan was the only person who came out that same weekend day to give a quote. After discussing what we wanted, Stepan made some suggestions on LVP that were actually less expensive than the the big box store we were looking at before. We went and picked out the flooring we wanted, paid for it, and he picked it up the next day for us. We had a couple issues with the subfloor he pointed out and his crew took care of those prior to the flooring install. We had planned to lay peel and stick tile in our bathrooms ourselves but ultimately had Stride do it for us when doing the LVP. We are beyond thrilled with our floors. Stepan made the entire process so easy. He communicated often with updates on the project, and did exactly what he said he would do. I highly reccomend Stride Constuction for you flooring needs and will definitely use them again.

I HIGHLY recommend Stride Construction for any hardwood installations!!! Stepan and his cousin did an amazing job on our hardwood floors. After having a horrible experience with Home Depot (who on the day of the installation said our floors were â too flexibleâ for hardwood, after waiting a month for our install date) we decided to hire a hardwood specialist! Stepan came out to look at our floors the SAME day we reached out for a consultation and began the project a few days later! He was extremely knowledgeable, genuine, and an honest person! Throughout the whole project Stepan stayed in contact and maintained great communication! They were able to finish our floors within 4 days!! (A very important time frame that was needed for our particular situation!) After feeling so worried and discouraged with Home Depot installers, Stride construction came to the rescue and did such a beautiful and professional job!! Stephan was great. My new flooring is gorgeous! He also warned me that when the flooring was installed my baseboards would be lower and I would need to paint or that I could install taller ones. He even assisted me on completing a flooring job left unfinished upstairs by another contractor. I did not have any big surprises or extra costs.

Can’t say enough about how great our experience was with Stepan. He was professional, efficient, timely and communicated well. We needed carpet replaced with vinyl floors in two bedrooms. Stepan and Eli took out the carpets (also hauled to the dump), cleaned the floors and put in the vinyl planks with door transitions within 5 1/2 hrs. Looks really great. We could not be happier.

Stepan of Stride Construction and his associate Russell did a fantastic job very nicely finished. They replaced a thousand sq feet of 20 year old carpet with wood laminate. From carpet removal and disposal, to prep, and install and finish work these 2 young men did a wonderful job. We love our new floors. All on schedule and with in estimate which was the lowest bid of three. We highly recommend Stride Construction to anyone needing flooring

Stephan is a capable and detailed installer. I appreciated that he kept me informed on scheduling and start times material arrival etc Had some good suggestions on prep and preservation His business practice, as well as his estimating capability, is suspect to the point of making me wonder if I have been a victim. Overestimation of materials needed amounted to over 30%, excessive for a professional. (nonreturnable to his supplier) A considerable sum of money. Plus I now have literally a ton of unwanted and unneeded material to deal with I am suspicious in that Stride Flooring ( Stephan) sold me material he had leftover from another job which I accepted, mainly to placate him, try and help them out and continue on to the work. It seemed odd. I bet most folks just have the overage ( enough to do a large room) hauled off to get it out of the way. Effectively, the material is being sold twice at the expense of the trusting, overestimated client. At the rates Stride charges, those kinds of games are insulting. If you expect some consideration on price due to the work that you perform or opt to forego I think you will be disappointed. Owner doing tear out, clean up, dump runs(inc. some material from another client site), subfloor work ( the main point of the whole exercise) did not seem to affect the cost. It only allowed them to knock off earlier or continue to other jobs. It appeared to demonstrate some kind of weakness to be exploited Fore gone items mean that I get to spend about the same amount of time Stride did in installing flooring, resetting a toilet, fixing a tub, reinstalling doors, closet door floor guides, moving furniture solo, etc, etc. In conclusion, Stephan will do a competent and detailed installation. Installation is the keyword. Installers make their money moving material. Not solving other flooring issues. Obviously there are some trust issues that would make it difficult for me to rehire Stride to do the upcoming lion's share of the work. If you care to take a spin with Stride consider a very detailed and specific contract. Know exactly precisely what you want to be done. I would avoid adding to the effort, labor wise. Be very suspicious of any estimation of area, wastage in installation or cost Check and recheck materials estimates w/ material supplier. Be suspicious of material sales from Stride. I am not one that normally reviews tradesmen. But I think this one needs to be out there It was disappointing that Stride seemed to find it difficult to be forthcoming in their business practices...........good luck.

Stephan and his crew did a great job, I really love my new floors! They were on time everyday, kept to their schedule, cleaned up daily and kept me informed of progress each day. Our old house needed extra attention to address squeaks and slopes which Stephan explained how he would fix before laying the new LVP.
