hardwood floor
 + -1 moreSummary: Jim gave me 90% of the quality I've seen in jobs done by the big-name companies, but at less than 50% for the price. He also backs up his work was very responsive when we found a small problem with the new floor: he fixed it right away with no hassle. But he is somewhat unprofessional: he tends to make a mess, he can be disorganized, and he finished our job three days late. Overall, however, I think the trade-offs were worth it. If your willing to accept a very good product and a little bit of extra clean up work, Jim can save you a lot of money, but if you want a perfect job with no delays or extra hassle, call someone else.
Description of Work: Jim refinished the existing wood flooring in half of my house, removed carpet and vinyl flooring from the other half, and installed new hardwood floors where the carpet and vinyl used to be.
