I had the exterior of my house painted by A&P. They took shortcuts and it showed. The crew did show up on time so I give them 2 stars for that. The project manager was more focused on pleasing the owner than the customer he could use some coaching and at one point was rude to me. I let that go though it is not acceptable. They did the front of the house last and that seems to be where the problems occurred. I purchased new shutters and when they took the old ones off there was damage underneath. They were just going to cover it up with the new shutters and I made them touch it up and paint underneath. About a week after that a few of the shutters were coming loose. I emailed Walter and never got a response. I noticed an area above the front door that was not caulked or painted properly but I let it go and did the work properly myself. I recently was out front and I noticed the trim on the front is uneven either it wasn't sanded properly or painted properly. On the other peak there is an area that they must have missed painting. I emailed Walter and support and to date have not received a response. When you pay that large amount of money, you expect enough respect to get a reply back. Overall I would say the quality is lacking and shortcuts were taken. Even on other parts of the house you can see rough edges where things weren't sanded. I asked another pro about the work and he said it was sloppy in places and a good company would come back and fix these things. They need to improve on quality of work, focusing on a positive customer experience, responding to customers and following up a month or two after the sale to see if the customer is happy. They didn't do any of these things but they did send me 2 links to give them a review. Focus more on making the customer happy and they will give you good reviews. I now have to hire another company to come in and fix A&Ps poor workmanship. I would not recommend. I am very disappointed with the poor customer service and workmanship.

A team of 5 individuals came out to accomplish the job. The ship lap ceilings were pressure washed and then hand cleaned prior to re-sealing. Ceiling heights were 30 feet in some areas. Job involved outdoor patio screen removals. The work effort was consistent until the job was completed. They were careful in properly covering bushes, walk areas, and surroundings.

At first glance work was good. Looking closely however there were problems. Missed areas of paint, brush strokes visible on trim, trim paint on walls, wall paint on trim, nail holes not filled and sanded (we did these ourselves and ended up re-painting an entire wall) - just a lot of touch-ups that we are going to have to do.

The sales cycle to get business was good; the execution was terrible - the sales and production managers operate in their own worlds. Color-match was a nightmare and they failed to do a good job 100% of the time - I had to step in to resolve to spend my own time. The crew was very mediocre - the foreman knew what to do and the three other workers merely assisted him - felt like a crew of 1+. They are also not detailed oriented and left a lot of streaks on the walls, windows, and trim. We gave them a punch list to fix and have never heard back from them.

A & P was timely. The painters were very talented and speedy and neat. I expected the job, the walls and baseboards,to take in excess of 2 days. It took only 1-1/2 days for a 2-bedroom apt. Being very pleased, I am recommending them to friends and relatives.

I was not informed in advance of when the painting was going to be done they just showed up at my door which created a problem for getting my gutters installed at the proper time.

A & P Contractors was a great experience. The quality of work was unsurpassed along with superior attention to details for my painting concerns. I was extremely satisfied their very reasonable pricing, prompt communications and reliability. For me, painting is not as easy as it may appear. I am so glad to have met their project manager Eric, and very grateful to him for saving me the time and anxiety of even thinking about doing the work beyond my knowledge or abilities. I am already strongly recommending them to my neighbors and will be contacting them again soon for the services they provide for other home projects we discussed.

A&P Contractors did an awesome job on my exterior stain on my house for a reasonable price. Erica and Mike were courteous and professional. They listened to my concerns before the work was started. Eduardo and his team who came to do the work were on time, professional and neat. They cleaned up the area everyday afterwards and informed of any potential risk that needed my approval before going further as this would be an increase to the quote. I really appreciated their transparency and the excellent customer service they provided. I will definitely reach out if I need anything further for my home. Thank you!

To us this was a big job. We were quoted by several companies and chose A&P because of a friend who gave us a personal review, confirming the good online reviews. The price came in very near the average; not the cheapest and nowhere near the most expensive. They estimated 4-5 days but completed the job in 2 working days. The problems we were most worried about were taken care of, and the crew fixed many others we just never noticed. There were lots of nail pops and cracks from age. The very few issues we spotted during the walkthrough were fixed immediately as well. The crew was friendly and professional, and the house looks brand new inside. We really couldn't ask for more. We definitely recommend A&P for interior paint.

I have hired this crew several times this year - from painting to floor installation (1st and 2nd floors). They are extremely professionaly, prompt, cost-friendly and courteous. They are my go-to crew for my home project needs. Walter is very knowledgeable and provided recommendations to help me with my ideas.

They did a really good job. They came over quickly. They charged me exactly what was quoted and did it all in one day. It was a painting job requiring replacing some cedar boards and I was very happy with the result. I would use them again definitely.
