1080 Communications was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They designed, quoted and installed everything, including tv mounts, blu ray players, video receiver, audio amplifier and speakers. Good problem solvers. The technician was very professional and easy to work with. The results exceeded our original goals. Would highly recommend this company for any home theater, audio or video installation work.

We found 1080 Connect through Angie's List. Since we had just moved in we wanted our TV mounted as soon as possible and 1080 Connect was able to come out the next day. $250 seemed like a lot at first just to mount a TV on the wall, but after calling other companies we realized this was the standard price. The wall where the TV was mounted is an exterior wall so a heavy duty drill had to be used to get through the concrete. 1080 Connect was professional, timely, and efficient. If we have other TV's to mount in the future we will definitely hire them again.

Started out at Best Buy but got frustrated with their time frame and some of the pricing/components they said I needed. Read outstanding reviews about 1080 Connect on Angie's List and got hold of Tanner Thomas around 9:30 in the evening. He was very knowledgable and accommodating from the start and I got my install quicker and cheaper than had I continued with Best Buy. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future. The installer called me and confirmed the appointment in the morning, was on time, very professional, and did an outstanding job.

They took our current sloppy wiring and installed the mounts, hid the wiring, and opened a access port closer to the TV's. These guys are good. I was very pleased. Timely, professional, clean. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends. LF.

I contact Tanner a couple of weeks back to mount a tv and install a pair of outdoor speakers. We agreed to a price over the phone, and his technician Chad came out to do the work. I was throughly impressed with the job they did, and I am EXTREMELY glad I didn't attempt to do this myself (it wouldn't have looked nearly as good). They also came back to fix an issue with the mount (it wasn't level) a week after the initial work was done, and they didn't charge me for this. Once I save up some money I'm going to get these guys to install surround sound speakers in my walls. Great company!

You may think you will pay more for the service but I spent more time trying to find someone cheaper. It was money well spent.

We recently had our basement finished and the contractor that we used for the build out suggested that we call 1080 Connect to talk with them about the ideas that we had for the theater and sound aspect of the basement. Anytime a contractor suggests another company I tend to listen more than normal. We called 1080 Connect and Tanner came to our house to walk through the basement and took the time to listen to exactly what we are looking for. I will not lie, I am a VERY picky and particular person ... so the fact that he paid attention to what we were saying was a great start. Tanner provided us with information that included everything that we needed. He had connections for the necessary equipment, brackets, speakers, etc... Basically, he offered us a turnkey experience and we did not turn it down. We contracted with 1080 Connect and they got started the following week. In only a matter of days we were calling up friends and family and inviting them over for movie night at our place. The reaction that we have received from everyone who has seen the new theater is exactly what we were looking for. As I mentioned, I am a picky person and the referral for 1080 Connect came from a very well respected local contractor. So take both of our words for it, 1080 Connect is the way to go!!!

Used 1080 Connect to mount a flat panel television that we had purchased from Best Buy. We had the techs from Best Buy initially come out to install the television and after poking holes in our walls for about an hour with no progress, my husband had enough and sent them packing. We couldn't believe how unorganized and unprofessional that the Best Buy technicians were. Luckily, we found 1080 Connect and Tanner came out the very next day to mount our set and even had the bracket that we needed in stock. Tanner was in and out in under an hour, very professional, very clean and even did some small patch work to the area that Best Buy had screwed up. I think we are brainwashed into thinking that big companies like Best Buy in our case are the way to go. The reality is that companies like 1080 Connect are out there and they have the customers best interest in mind. If you are reading this review before you buy the tv set or equipment, save yourself some time and money and get everything through 1080 Connect. A great company who provides incredible service.

Typically you will only find a review from me that is negative in nature. That is not the case with my experience of using 1080 Connect. So while it is out of the ordinary for me to write a glowing review, I could not resist. We moved into a new home at the beginning of June and once we started moving in all of the furniture, I realized that the way the previous owner had setup the outlets and inputs, that it was going against what I wanted to do. I had heard of 1080 Connect as they did some work for my employer, and with just one quick email the ball was in place to get everything going. Tanner came out to our home and quickly saw the problem and had a whole round of suggestions on how to incorporate the furniture layout that I wanted with the media devices. All of the work was completed within an afternoon and I didn't have to sacrifice what I wanted in the process. Very affordable, very professional and great work.

1080 Connect should change their name to "We Do That" ... because they do everything! My sister gave me their number because she had used them in the past and had a great experience. So I initially called them to discuss a TV being mounted in our bathroom. When they came out, the discussion of other items that I wanted done to the house started. I was blown away by the range of services that they offer. I ended up getting the bathroom tv that I wanted, some ceiling fans installed to replace light fixtures and an audio system that goes throughout the house. It was very refreshing to just use one contractor for everything. They even saved me the trip to stores to purchase equipment, and saved me money in the process. This was so stress-free and they worked within my budget and guidelines. So if you need anything done, give them a call because chances are that they do it!

I suggest that anyone in the market for TV mounting call 1080 Connect. I have always wanted a television in our kitchen and for years had the old style tube television sitting on the counter. it was tiny and as our collection of appliances grew, the tv continued to be moved around and eventually got stuck in a closet. I bought a flat panel television for the kitchen for best buy and was a little skeptical about what they quoted and how long I would have to wait before they could come and install. So I shopped around and am so glad that I found 1080 Connect. They beat the price by Best Buy and were able to install the mounting on the same day that I called. Great pricing and customer service. They could have saved me money on my tv purchase also if I would have went through them.

Found 1080 Connect through a neighbor of mine and had them come out to mount a television on our outdoor patio. They did a great job. On time, affordable, professional and a great sense of how to mount a system without making it look cheap or tacky. That was a big area for me, a lot of televisions that I see mounted look like they were done by amateurs. 1080 Connect knew what they were doing and they will be my first call in the future when upgrading our home.

We had gone to a holiday dinner last year at a friends house who had their house automated with surround sound, media and security. We were so impressed that we mentioned it to the host and they were quick to say that if we ever wanted to do anything like this to call on 1080 Connect. Well the funds were not quite there for us yet, but I called them in early January to explain our situation, what we wanted done and that we were just shopping prices. Since this was all being done over the phone and included the audio and security services I was given a low and high end price for the project. So I decided in January that 1080 Connect would be our contractor for this project. Knowing that the best time for me to do a project like this was going to be after the tax returns had been filed, I let them know that we wanted to move forward, but it would be a few months. That was no problem with them and they continued to answer my questions. My wife claims that I over think everything and I must have called them or sent email questions over a dozen times in the months leading up to our appointment. One night, I sent an email question close to 11pm, took the dog on a short walk and when I came back in my answer was waiting for me in my email inbox. Many companies love to claim 24 hour service, 1080 Connect backs it up. The installation was a thing of beauty. The team showed up (very clean cut) and went to work right away, explaining what they were doing and making suggestions for a better sound experience. The team that was outside mounting the security cameras would test everything before they attached anything to the house. Lastly, the installer who was mounting our two televisions did so with extreme attention to detail, making sure all wires were hidden from view and even reattached our cable, stereo and other media equipment. I have to say that I am beyond impressed with the services that they performed. Our home is now the envy of our friends and like we were told last year, I am quick to tell them about 1080 Connect. The part that really made this an unforgettable experience is the customer service that I received. Folks, this type of service does not exist in most industries anymore. It is refreshing to find a local company that truly puts the customer first and takes the time to make sure you understand everything that is being done. One word to describe the service that we experienced with 1080 Connect would be WOW! Initially, I was surfing the search engines and various local sites looking for someone who sold the equipment needed for us to mount a television in the family room. The name 1080 Connect kept showing up in review sites, search results and on the local directories. There were two words that stood out to me - Affordable & Professional. I wasn't looking forward to a "do it yourself" project with mounting the television, so I contacted 1080 Connect to see what all the buzz was about. I spoke with Tanner, who took more time than most would to explain the company, the services, pricing and what to expect. I was at such ease with his knowledge and the pricing that I went ahead and scheduled an installation. When our installation date rolled around the experience was just as pleasant, if not more than my conversation with Tanner. They showed up early, made sure that they created a work space that would keep any debris off the floors and went to work. Almost in the blink of an eye we finally had the look that we have always wanted in our living room. My only regret was waiting so long to do this, had I known about 1080 Connect prior to a few weeks ago I would have done this a while ago. Having someone come into your home and perform any service can be a stressful experience, the crew at 1080 Connect made it the exact opposite. Extremely professional, friendly, knowledgable and the kind of guys that you want to sit down and watch a game with. I would and have suggested to anyone that if you are in the need of television mounting, or any of the services that are offered by 1080 Connect that you give them a call.

We did not have a good experience with them. They were supposed to hang a projector from the ceiling and had to put up a 120-inch screen for us and then do all of the things such as wiring and hiding the wires and all that kind of stuff. The two young men that came, we found them to be completely unprofessional, they dropped our $1200 brand new projector from 8 feet off the floor and then when it didn't work appropriately tried to deny that it was their responsibility and tried to say that it was the quality of the projector that we purchased. They also did not hook the screen up, they did not put anchors onto the wall, so as soon as we tried to use, it pulled straight out of the wall. There were lots of problems in terms of their craftsmanship and what they were doing and little adjustments that should have been taken care of. Afterwards, my husband ended up having to do himself even after the owner came out. They ended up having to replace that projector. Otherwise, they were on time. When we spoke to the owner, he was responsive.

Our one year old is on the move and grabbing everything that is within his path. He started going for the television set and wires more and more until it felt like we were pulling him away no short of 20 times a day. My husband found 1080 Connect through an internet search and I am so glad that we found them. We dealt with Tanner and within a few hours of our initial phone call he was at our doorstep and ready to get to work. He mounted the television for us and also hid all the wires, or if you were to ask our baby ... he hid all the toys. Tanner was very professional, clean and made sure he told us what was going on each step of the way. We woke up in the morning drowning in wires and went to bed that night with a clean area that we no longer have to worry about. We couldn't be happier and I am sure our baby will come around soon and be happy as well :) Great job all around - customer service was exceptional and the price was inline with our budget. I would suggest that anyone who needs a television mounted to call 1080 Connect.

We reached out to 1080 Connect by emailing them from Angie's List and received a response with hours on a Saturday. He sent some suggestions via email and questions he needed us to answer. He made an immediate appointment to come out and provide a quote. Tanner provided a very thorough quote, came to the home to preview the space and walked us through all that was required. He provided several options to match within our budget. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He was timely with all of his responses. We contacted him to confirm our install and requested the install to be completed prior to Easter. He was able to meet this deadline, even when we had to reschedule the initial appointment for the install. He worked diligently and kept the working areas clean. He provided us with training once everything was installed. He completed the job within a day and a half. The half day was only needed to allow time for the Satellite install. I am ver pleased with the entire process and would highly recommend 1080 Connect.

My family and I just moved to the Atlanta area from up north. One of the things that I hated giving up in our old house was the home theater system. I was mentioning this to a friend at work and he referred me to 1080 Connect. It was the smartest call I have probably ever made. I spoke with Tanner when I called and he had some great ideas that I had never thought of and was very attentive to what we were looking for. When Tanner and his crew arrived they got to work right away and were done in a matter of a few days. The finished product blew me away and is miles ahead of what companies up north are doing. I recently called them back out to mount televsion sets on our outside patio, in the kitchen and in the master bedroom. These guys are hands down the best at what they do. very professional, very clean and don't charge nearly what they should for the services they deliver. Kudos to you 1080 Connect!

I worked with Travis in estimating and scheduling this job. Travis was very polite and responsive and returned emails on Sunday evening to get me the answers I needed. His price was middle of the road, but was very reasonable given the high quality of service performed. There were no hidden charges and no "connect fees", and as 1080 is over an hour from my house, all estimating was done via emailed photos and phone. His installer was 45 minutes early, but called first to make sure this was ok. They were polite, didn't make a mess they didn't clean up, and made sure I was happy with the work before they left. Not sure what else you would want in a home video installer, but 1080 did it all. We'll call them again when we have a TV installed upstairs.

I was very happy with the work they did perform. I also wanted them to install sockets in my flooring, and originally contracted them to do this, but the tech wasnt confident he could do it to my satisfaction when he saw the job, so I ended up having to hire someone else. I really appreciated his honesty, but was disappointed I had to then wait for another contractor appointment.

The two gentlemen arrived on time and explained to me my options. The work was completed to my satisfaction... They also gave me pointers on using my new receiver. I was very happy with the work and would use 1080 again.
