I hired National Iron works to install new steel guardrails and handrails in my staircase for my home renovation. I am a designer at an architectural firm and drew the design to my exact specifications, and they told me that it could be done in 3 weeks no problem...that was not the case. The day I came home after the installation it was obvious that they did not follow the design that I gave them at all, so I gave them the opportunity to fix it, and they made it worse. The welds were sloppy and the places where they **corrected** the design issues were spray painted black rather than re-powder coated, and it looked HORRIFIC to say the least. I only gave them 1 star for customer service because they promptly gave me my money back and allowed me to keep their work installed until I found a new fabricator to replace their work for safety purposes. I am sorely disappointed, and was not expecting to have such a poor experience because they had such high reviews. I am sorry to say I wasted my time and would not recommend them to anyone.

They did what they said they would. They were on time and they did some things to make the install look btter.

They were able to accomodate our schedule. Quick quote and job completed a few days later. Price was better than others and repair successful. Very friendly and professional. Highly recommend

What a wonderful job National performed for me! They installed a quality set of wrought iron rails for me, ahead of schedule and completed the work in a very professional manner. Best part—the job was several hundred dollars below a quote I received from another company last year. The railings were also coated to prevent rust. Great job! I highly recommend National Iron Works.
