We like the customer service this company gives and feel that they have done a great job keeping our 25 year old compressor working properly. The price for the contract is good and it really gives us a piece of mind.

I am very happy with them. They gave me a lifetime guarantee. It cost exactly what they said it would, and they are always on time and work very hard. They made sure we had heating overnight and were clean, polite, and nice. They gave me a nice discount also because I had used them before.

The real test of a contractor is not whether they make a mistake, but how they handle it after it is made. Cool Ray installed the ductwork and equipment in an unsatisfactory manner. I expected a big hassle to get it fixed because the changes needed were extensive. To my surprise, they did not complain once, they returned and spent two days making the installation right. Not once during the entire episode were they anything but courteous and cooperative. If I were starting over today, knowing what I know about their behavior, I would not hesitate to use them again.

They came as they said they would, and cleaned up very well. We have not had anything go wrong with the units and they have been working good so we are happy. My other air unit just went out so we were so happy with them we are going to use them again next week for my other unit. They were a little higher than other companies but offer a better quality product than what the others were offering me, so it evened out and we are happy.

I am very impressed with CoolRay, and will use them exclusively from now on. I initially had an independent come out and he said that the entire blower was failing and the main board was also bad. He said we could either replace the parts or replace the entire thing for just a little more. I called CoolRay for a second opinion. I told him what was wrong, and it turned out that just the blower motor was bad and a jumper was missing on the main board. Ended up costing about $400 instead of $1500 - $3000. The technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend CoolRay.

I am not sure what the price was they charged me this time, but I have done a lot of business with them in the past and can honestly say they might not come cheap, but they are well worth the money. The men that come are always very neat and courteous. They always keep my units in top working order.

This company has been around since 1966. Coolray has always been very quick in their process. The workers have always been nice and professional. The front office sends out reminders or calls when we re due and that s helpful.

I got this company off of Angie's list and am very happy with them. They came out to my rental property and repaired an air conditioner that was leaking badly and they fixed it right away. They provided an accurate diagnosis. After they left, the air conditioner, just stopped working so they came out and fixed it at no charge that same evening. I would use them again.

I had a problem on a Friday night when my generator on the air conditioner blew out my power. I called them because they were open 24 hours. They sent someone early Saturday morning and they noticed we needed a whole new unit because it was 20 years old. So we went ahead and had them replace the furnace also because it was just as old. They are wonderful and knowledgeable. I love the fact they are easy to reach and I will continue to use them. The units are great and I am very happy with them.

Coolray Heating Cooling & Plumbing came on time and worked diligently on the installation. They were very professional and friendly at the same time. This was a big job, but they handled it beautifully. I thought their price was reasonable considering they installed 2 furnaces and 2 air conditioners. I would recommend them.

I don t have a contract with them, I just call them as I need the service. They are on time and very courteous. They are fairly reasonable in the cost of the service. They are professional and clean up after themselves when they come and I like the fact that they know what they are doing and that they are reliable. I don't have any complaints about them and never had any problems with them.

I called on a Thursday at lunchtime to have a gas water heater replaced on Saturday morning (I had company coming) and also fix the water valves for my washer, plus investigate a possible gas leak. I was given a quote over the phone of $895 for everything. They come out, inform me I have no gas leak, replace the water heater (very poor welding job)--for $1,140! (Though the guy told me he'd replace it off the books for $800--cash.) They also weren't equipped to fix the washer valves and I had them call a second plumber from the company out there to fix those...another $175 for that. Turns out I still had a gas leak that was under the house (where the original plumber didn't bother to look)--I had to call another plumber from another company out to the house to correct that (for another $330). I feel like I got fleeced by this company...poor service and price gouging on their part guarantees I won't call them again for service.

The compressor of our 13 year old air conditioning unit died. After meeting with Eric, we decided to that it made sense to replace the 13 year old furnace at the same time. Also since the furnace was located in attic, Eric recommended installing an attic ventilator as well (which was not installed by Coolray). The service provided by Coolray was outstanding. The information provided was thorough, the staff was accommodating and efficient in the installation. The house is cooler and uses less energy.

My air conditioner stopped working. Coolray sent a representative the next day. He determined the unit was no longer functioning. He called the company and scheduled an appointment for me to speak with a salesperson. The appointment was made for two days later. The salesperson called me the same day and made arrangements to come that afternoon (one of his appointments canceled). He made an appointment for me to get the new unit that weekend. All in all, I was without air for less than a week. Every person I dealt with was kind and professional, from the woman who answered the phone to the tech who assessed the damage, the salesman, and the techs who installed the unit. Everyone put me at ease and I appreciated it. Coolray will definitely get work from me in the future!

The two-man crew showed up on time and worked quickly. Came in under the estimated time frame.

The old air conditioner was dying in the middle of the August 2007 heat wave. My wife and children were left with indoor temperatures of 88. The first company called couldn't come out for several days. Coolray came the day after my wife called. Coolray said that if they needed to replace it they probably couldn;t get it replaced for another 4 or 5 days, but we called them anyway. Figured we'd need to get on the long waiting list during a heat wave. The old a/c unit was at least 20 years old and Coolray recommended replacing rather than expensive repairs. They said they could install a new one the next day. They said it would take about 4 hours, barring unforseen problems (and said they often found unforseen problems). Even though our house often has "unforseen problems" in these circumstances, they got it installed in exactly 4 hours!

THEY WERE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY MORNING, CALLED FOR APPROVAL OF COSTS (I WAS OUT OF TOWN) EXCELLENT SERVICE.

Our air conditioning quit working on a Friday afternoon, in the summer. Checked Angie's List and called Coolray. They had service technician Todd Malcolm to our house within an hour. He quickly found the problem and fixed it.

The technician telephoned 10 minutes prior to the appointment to advise that he was en route. He arrived on schedule and proceeded with the system inspection and also changed the a/c filter. After completing the work, he also instructed us on the proper use of the thermostat, which was difficult for us during the first few days of living in our newly purchased home.

I called Coolray Heating & Cooling to come out and give an estimate to completely replace my HVAC system and install a new water heater. I was immediately impressed with the knowledge of the sales rep (Scott Patton) and was very pleased with the price quoted, so I hired them. On installation day the HVAC team came out exactly on time and began the work of removing the old furnace/blower and removing the A/C unit from the roof of the building. The entire process could have not gone any better. The HVAC installation team knew exactly what they were doing every second of the day. They were impeccably thorough in their work at every step and took their time, not rushing through anything. They were at my condo from 8:45 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and were completely dedicated to doing the job correctly. After the HVAC team finished, the plumbing guy came and installed the water heater. Excellent work as well.
