The tech came out, and said that they were the builder's original (about 20 years old) and we should consider replacing the units, said that for about $800 he could make them run better but could not guarantee anything about them.

My old A/C went out on a Sunday in August, naturally. Joined Angie's list that day to find reputable HVAC man to service unit. They came out that day and were unable to repair the unit on the spot, but at my request checked the furnace, which was 21 yrs old. They told me my furnace was not safe to operate because the burners had fallen out of the combustion chamber, or vice versa. Whatever it was he said had happened came as no surprise to me as my wife had been compaining of a gas smell coming from the furnace all last winter. They came out the next morning a delivered a spot cooler loaner, free of charge. That afternoon spec'd the job. The next day installed the job, and two days later cleaned the vents-- all on the time schedule they promised.

Everything was installed and old systems removed in one day by three professional crews as promised. The personnel from start to finish were professional and the original estimator and representative was and is great to deal with. Cool Ray gets a big thumbs up! I particularly like their companies limited life time warranty.

Overall pleasant business dealing. Professional and Punctual and full clean up. One room which was difficult with cooling issues due to just one floor register being between windows on the sun side of the house had me originally tell the salesman of my desire for an additional register in that room. They did increase the ducting which seems to be helping in the winter, however never installed the new register. The salesman had thought the increased volume due to bigger duct had satisfied my concern about this troubled room. I was told that if in the summer I am not happy with cooling in the room THEY WILL COME OUT AND ADD THAT ADDITIONAL REGISTER TO MAKE ME HAPPY. Like their Warranty of Lifetime. (As long as they are in business) in addition to Standard Warranties.

They were the top rated company having more good reports than anybody. They guy was here on time. He seemed very knowledgeable. They were $5000 less than another company.

It went excellently. Everyone from Scott, the salesman, to the installers were on time and very professional. I thought there was an error in the billing, but the office personnel checked. They were right. The invoice was correct to the penny.

For every time that I called, I've gotten exactly what I've needed. All the technicians are professional, prompt, and provide the service exactly how I would have expected. Their follow-up service is also great.

It went basically well. I called for service at about 9:00 am and was scheduled for service that day. I think the time window was a little wide...between 12-6. The work took 3 days as the repairman had to go away and get the part, and then the company sent him the wrong part. He was diligent and nice and he got the work done. He gave a 10% discount for using Angie's List. I would rate it an A if the work was cheaper and it was done the 1st day. I am pleased with this company and I would use them again.

I booked the installation 3 days out with is a great turn around time. The installers showed up at 9 AM on a Saturday and started going to town ripping out the old cooling coil and hauling off the old condenser. The job took a solid 8 hours and I assume the vast amount of the time was installing the new refrigerant lines, down spout cover, and new duct work. After the installation I have to admit that the force of increased size duct work in the master bedroom is a huge difference and we definitely like the new supply in the master closet (because that was where my underwear was). :) Overall, everything looked great and they cleaned up after themselves. Since I got the work done in October I can't say that I've used my AC all that much so I might try to post an update in the summer, but overall, I was really happy with the work.

Martin came out for HVAC quote, but was not able to give me a quote for the water heater. After a bit of back-and-forth, I had decided on another vendor before I ever got a quote from Coolray.

I was interested in both geothermal and heat pump quotes. Martin came out and thoroughly reviewed my site and went over the details and options with me (which can be confusing for geothermal). I got a pretty good education on the geothermal, but it's not worth it for my size house. Martin was very professional and prompt.

Although our old heating and a/c were still working, they were costing a lot to run. The regular maintenance service visit technicians were telling us that the a/c was drawing too much power. We got the estimate, I researched the components on the Internet, and decided to sign the contract. The installers arrived on time in the morning and were finished at about 3:00 pm. It was a hot August day, and we have lots of mosquito's - so, it was not the easiest job. The unit is working fine. Part of the inducement is definitely the lifetime warranty and extra year added to our existing five-year service contract. I admit to having a soft spot in my heart for Cool Ray. They replaced a whole-house humidifier for 80 per cent less than our previous HVAC contractor's estimate - that job took them a very long time, but they kept to the estimated price.

I feel that the technicians and the office staff are professional and courteous. I am happy with their service. I have had no problems with them.

They were outstanding. They did a very thorough job. It took them several hours to complete the work. They were neat while working and cleaned up well. We've noticed a tremendous difference in dust levels now that our ducts are clean. They were very courteous and respectful our of property and furnishings.

They were very thorough and checked everything out completely. They found the problem very quickly and replaced the cord that was too short. There might have been a shortage in that cord.

I wouldn't use this company for air duct cleaning as they don't do the work themselves. They are very deceptive.

They have been a very good company. They give you a discount when you have a maintenance plan with them. They also work Mr. Plumber. The work was very good and they were very quick.

The company was able to schedule a visit within 24 hours. The tech showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem as a clogged air filter. He replaced the filter and thoroughly checked the system's operation. I asked for and received Angie's List discount of $20.

We had gotten 8 different quotes. This company was FAR superior and their attention to detail was superb! I felt that I was in the hands of true professionals from the beginning to the end. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I am an interior designer, so when I make a decision to do a project, I really do my homework. I was told so many different "stories" from other companies; it was mind-blowing! This company is stellar.

There service was great. They were very fast and had reasonable prices. They routed the air ducts to the air conditioning incorrectly which caused poor circulation in the bathroom which I wasn't to happy. They arrived promptly and were very friendly.

Lance came out and repaired one of our air conditioning units that wasn't blowing cold air. What I really liked was once he had figured out what was wrong, he showed me what the cost of the replacement parts would be by pulling out a pamphlet with the cost of the parts printed in black and white so there was no guesswork. Lance was pleasant to deal with and very professional. I will definitely use them again.

It wasn t until my appointment with the salesman from Coolray that I felt as though I was not just another person wanting an estimate. The salesman from Coolray was very informative he took the time to explain to me in detail what type of units were available to me, and what my options were. One day went past, I compared my estimates, and my overall experience and decided to sign the contract for Coolray to replace my A/C unit and furnace. The price was lower than two other estimates I obtained and I got more for my money by choosing Coolray. Everyone I dealt with at Coolray was very courteous, professional and explanatory. I recommend them.

They are very professional in the way they do business. They are very prompt to return phone calls and take measurements. Their price is very much in line with everyone else around here. We've actually used them to do maintenance on our existing AC unit and Heater. They communicate very well.
