Coolray Heating & Air Conditioning

.I had been recommended to use this company by several friends and family members. I have several rental properties in Griffin, and had become unhappy with my previous HVAC company. I have a property that has had the A/C condensors stolen. I called Coolray, and they refused to come out and give an estimate. I spend quite a bit of money every year on HVAC details for my tenants, so I guess I will look for a company that is interested in my business.

Gary & Joe promptly arrived on time on Friday morning. They diligently worked all day until 8 pm. Unfortunately they couldn't get the a/c unit working properly. Rusty arrived the following morning and worked until late afternoon. He was able to diagnose the problem and remedy the situation. They installed the incorrect UV component and we we able to workout a deal with Brian (sales person) to our satisfaction.

They do a good job, and the experience was excellent.

Cancelled the appointment - unhelpful and costly.

We have been very happy with them. They do plumbing as well but we have not had them out for plumbing. My husband prepaid them so if we have a problem we don’t have to pay them over time. I also get a 10% discount on service because we joined their maintenance club. If we have any problem in between we call and we get the service at a discounted rate. If they happen to come to our house on a Saturday we don’t have to pay them over time and that is huge. A lot of time when your stuff breaks down it is not during the week and 9-5. If you have a problem and you have water flowing everywhere and you ask for someone to come and check it off hours they would charge you one and half the price. We use them all the time.

Found our air conditioner not working at 4PM on Friday afternoon. Called Coolray because they had excellent reviews on Angie's list and they were located near us. The person taking the call was so nice and very very professional. She was able to get a repairman right away. Remember this was late Friday afternoon. John came out and immediately found the problem with a part on the condenser. He had the part and had the repair done in less than an hour. Cleaned the filter and the unit. Was nice and an excellent service man. Definitely plan on using them again for a repair needed at a little investment house we have.

AC repaired. Part on truck. Reasonable price. Outstanding service.

Great experience! Love their main product - Trane. The men who completed the complete HVAC system were great. Punctual. Actually came a little early - that never happens! They were professional throughout the whole experience. The salesman even called during the install to make sure that everything was going smooth. Very good experience.

We called Coolray after another company had come out to check on the units. That other company had recommended purchasing two new A/C units, but did not attempt to repair them. The Coolray tech came out quickly. He checked the indoor units, and they were in good shape. Then he checked the outdoor compressor units. He noticed that one unit wasn't running because its breaker was turned off - the other technician had not noticed this! The other unit was running fine (I think the previous tech had gotten the compressor fan unstuck.) The Coolray tech checked the refrigerant levels on both units, and added refrigerant to one of them. The price for his diagnostic work and the repair was about the same as the other company's diagnostic work alone. We are very pleased with Coolray!

We found them on Angie’s list. They were fabulous, and I can’t say enough about them. They are professional operation. I liked everything about them. They were amazing. We had worked before to fix our air-conditioning system and to do the maintenance on it, we just pulled the name out of the yellow pages, and it was like night and day. With Coolray it was night and day, they have a whole very professional scheduling operation, were it’s almost like a call center where you call in and they call back and schedule. And the person comes out and they actually come out when they say they are going to be there. The guy that they sent did figure out something. The problem with the part of the unit that was actually in the house needed to be cleaned. Unfortunately it had never been cleaned before, or as long as we lived here and we didn’t even know about it nor did anybody else would come out to the house previously. And they were just so amazing, they were prompt, they were so good at what they did. The air conditioner; the central air is running like nobody’s business and like never before. It’s blowing harder, it is cooler, and it is just amazing what this guy did. Their whole operation was so professional. I can’t say enough good things about them. We signed a maintenance agreement with them. They had to fix our unit that was broken. They found that it needed to be clean. They put in a part that we needed. They cleaned it and the cleaning of it was unbelievable. I don’t know the technical aspects of it, but like I said the part of the unit outside for central air and then you have a part of it inside like the blower and some of the other things needs to be cleaned periodically. The guy showed it to us and it was disaster.

Representative came for an estimate. We emailed him and called 1 week later as we never heard back from him. He said, our email ended up in SPAM (he should not need to receive an email from us reminding him to send him an estimate). He said he would send it right out. We never got it and we never heard from him again. If he cannot be responsive to an estimate I would certainly not rely on him to provide us any services, especially when we were considering replacing 1 unit now and 1 in the fall.

We actually have an appointment with them next week to come out and service our air conditioner. I would recommend them to friends and family members. Everything was fine and we don't have any problems at all. I don't know enough about the pricing of air conditioners as my husband handled it. They were great, but I just don't know about the pricing. I assume that the price was good if not, my husband wouldn't have used them.

We have used them for over 20 years. We have a service plan with them. They come twice a year to check the heat and air conditioning. We have been very happy with them. They are easy to schedule appointments with. Their staff is friendly and professional.

We have a service contract with them, so I'm sure that is why we got such fast service. Our service contract covers two services a year, plus any problems. However, the office staff is always very friendly and efficient. After an appointment window is set, they call you when the repairman is on the way to your house and give you and estimate of their actual time of arrival. The repairmen are always clean and professional, and have excellent job skills. They leave a "reply card" every time they are at your house that is postage free so they can follow-up on all areas of their service. Coolray Cooling and Heating was the only company that correctly analyzed our problems after we purchased this house and then fixed them for a reasonable cost. We highly recommend them.

These gentlemen are honest about the service work that they believe should be done, reasonably priced, very knowledgable about the work, prompt, and clean. I would highly recommend this service provider to anyone who needs quality work done correctly.

My wife & I were VERY happy with our Cool Ray experience. Everything from your informative quoting/estimate with David to the very professional installation team. Everything was excellent! The installation took about 8 hours. The team was courteous, conscientious and, above all, hard working. My wife and I were very impressed with them. They covered all of the areas where debris could possibly fall, wore protective covering on their shoes when walking ourside of the covered areas and worked non-stop for the entire installation. When complete, they politely asked for the use of our vacuum to clean up. Also, took time to explain the new thermostats functionality. The entire job was fantastic! We will be Cool Ray customers for years to come!

Always a pleasure to deal with. Late in September, we noticed wetness in basement carpeting near the heating & A/C closet. We suspected the problem might be related to the A/C unit, so called Coolray. They dispatched a technician quickly and had the problem identified, turned off the damaged (leaking condenser pan) unit, and got us squared away within 2 hours of our call. Another call to our insurance company got a remediation team into the house that afternoon with blowers / dryers. Coolray's quick response helped minimize the damage.

Very smooth. The technician was experienced and knowledgeable. He was in fact training an newer employee on furnance diagnosis and repair.

Excellent response, professionalism and courtesy from start to finish from technician and sales rep. They understand my needs and explained operation after they finished. AC quit cooling. I called in morning and someone was out in afternoon. They explained what was wrong with my 15 year old unit and temporarily patched it. Rep came out next day to discuss choices of new units. Purchased new high efficiency unit and new furnace. New units installed 24 hours later.

They were a little more expensive than some of the others, but they did an incredible job. They were really good and it was worth it. They were twice as much as some of the other people, but I have heard some horror stories. They did a great job of keeping everything clean; nothing got messed up and it made a difference in the quality of the air. They were thorough. They have also replaced my hot water heater and they were very good with that. Their work is always good, they provide warrantees for, and you know that it is going to be done right. All of my experiences with them have been good.

They were on time, they were prompt, and they were quick. They did a good job of explaining the service and why it was needed.

They are absolutely awesome. They will let you pay in advance for preventive maintenance type services for your heating and cooling and they will give you a discount. You also get a discount on parts if you need any. I don't know about the price because my husband paid them. I don't think they charge for overtime or anything. We have been very happy with them. I got their name from a friend of mine. They always call before they come and they are always there right on time. We have just been really impressed with them. This is the third year that we have had them.

They are professional. They are good about scheduling or they are good about showing up when they say they are going to. They do a good job. I would do business with them in the future.

They send out 2 different people, one for the furnace and one for the water heater. They weren’t allowed to do the work but they did come out and let me know what was wrong. Everything was brilliant.
