Tom W. is the professional plumber who immediately showed up in a HOLIDAY WEEK the day we found the horror of our bathroom leak. It can't be stressed enough that Coolray Heating, Air, Plumbing, and Electrical is a FULL SERVICE organization who deployed an experienced professional to our home. Tom came in with his knowledge, expertise, and diagnostic gear and found the problem right away. He was able to help us prevent further damage, provide us with the suggestion for the need for insured/bonded experts who could help with the damage the leak had caused. And finally he was able to give us a realistic estimate for what the plumbing repair would cost. Tom was very clear with his explanations, showed us what plumbing repairs and materials were going to be used, and gave us "breathing room" to make an informed decision (not to be confused with our fear we might resort to using scuba gear to get through the dining room that suffered the "water"). All comedy aside, Tom's estimate and identifying what repairs were needed were spot on. He was amazingly kind and truly a professional in every sense from knowing the urgency of our need for help, to his expert abilities in spotting the problem and taking care of it as efficiently and quickly as possible. Plumbing, heating and air, and electrical are all specialty fields that should be handled by licensed/certified professionals. Tom W. is the kind of person any home owner would hope for if their home ever had one of these needs.

Talked to four different companies, Coolray’s quote was the easiest to understand & compare options, pricing was competitive. The consult and recommendations made sense and the sales consultant listened to our questions and had thoughtful answers. Install was flexible, they were ready to go any time and willing to do a Saturday install which we preferred. Installers were courteous, clean and efficient. I had a few quality items that took a couple of callbacks to resolve but Coolray never hesitated to send someone out to make it right. They didn’t pause at writing a check to replace our attic stair tent that was damaged during installation. A good company that backs its work 100%. The after-install support sets the bar not just for HVAC contractors but for all other service companies.

Called Monday and scheduled service for the Tuesday morning. We received a text message (with photo of the tech) and a call from our service technician before he arrived on time Tuesday. Thermostat was replaced and everything was checked out to our satisfaction before noon. We are long-time Cool Ray customers. We have been very pleased with their service contract on our home heating/air systems and their customer service over the years. We also use affiliated companies Mr. Plumber and Brite Box for plumbing and electrical services.

The service went really well. We got the service as well from them to fix out air conditioning after a snow storm that knocked down the power lines out. they fixed our furnace and since I was a member for 10 years, and they could verify what caused the damage, they fixed and replaced parts that cost approximately worth $450.00 for free and got it under warranty.

We were happy with their work and we would definitely hire them again.

Great on sales. WAY understaffed on service. Under warranty and with a service contract they won't come repair our air conditioner for 2 days. This is an improvement over last time, when it took 3 days. I recommend going with someone else.

I had my unit for about three months. I noticed my unit was not in the place it was installed. It seemed to have slid. I called for service the first guy that came out said that they would help. Several days passed. I called. The manager said that there was issues and asked if I ran into the unit. The unit does not have a scratch on it but the pad ( made of plastic and styrofoam) did. They did not listen to my theory. They said it slide uphill which I took my own pictures and measurements to prove that was false. The second manager said it was pushed from the fence line. I went in to the office with pictures to prove that was false. The next manager then blamed a septic guy I had out to pump my septic. They said they would put my unit back on a pad and dismissed my idea assuring me that I was wrong. Now I have a unit that may have issues that was 12000 dollars I will be paying on for the next 5 years and since they blew me off I may have to pay all service out of pocket. I lived at my home for over 4 years. I had to replace my system. My old system had a concrete pad. They replaced it with plastic over foam pad. The pad was built up on dirt. I think the dirt eroded away under the pad. And slid. The unit stopped by the copper pipe attached to it. I was told it was highly unlikely because they saw a unit withstand a hurricane. I told them erosion can move a house. Again brushed me off. I think they got tired of dealing with me but I didn't like the vailed accusations or the incorrect theories I was able to prove wrong. I am unhappy with there service.

We bought our house a year ago and prior owner used Coolray for at least 10 years or more. We decided to keep Coolray the annual maintenance contact last year and we were so impressed we signed up again this year. A big shout out to Gary Campbell the technician who keeps our furnace and AC working in top shape. Gary has been doing this for years and knows what he is doing. Gary is professional, knowledgeable and inspects every single part involved all while answering any questions we might have for him. He cleaned both inside and outside AC unit so immaculately we could eat off of it and its almost 30 years old. I feel assured that after the Coolray Team and Gary leave that our items are in top working order and ready for the summer or winter months. Absolutely recommend the Coolray and the Mr. Plumber Team. Its a winning combination.

Excellent from start to finish, no hitches, just great service by the 2 teams installing. We have used Coolray for out spring and fall checkups for 11 or 12 years with outstanding service so when it came time to replace it was a no brainer.

CoolRay came out to repair our heating at my business, Gateway Restoration International . We received excellent service. Seriously understaffed. Both our units were installed by Coolray, and they are both still under warranty. We also have a maintenance agreement with Coolray, so you might think that we could expect quick service when one of the units isn't cooling, but it took two full days for them to come out. Also, they install Carrier systems. This is fine if you don't use smart home control, or if you use Amazon Alexa, but Carrier doesn't support Google Home, and doesn't seem to have any plans to do so.

My relationship with Coolray began in April 2014. I was in need of replacement of two HVAC systems. I met with a few companies to review needs and obtain quotes. In addition to HVAC replacement, each one noted different needs - like plenum replacement, ductwork modifications, etc. Coolray's rep was the only one that noted all of the areas that the other companies mentioned as well as one that I had noticed but not mentioned - the addition of a return in a room to which we keep the door closed. I don't believe that I got a great "deal" on this job, but I feel that the price was fair. I upgraded significantly, but feel it was well worth the additional cost. I have utilized Coolray for semiannual maintenance and the tech who comes out has always been on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. I am in need of HVAC replacement at another home and I will be calling Coolray when I'm ready.
