I have a long list of problems I had. Donna was the only person who worked there that helped me. 1. They were very unorganized. I asked them to let me know a week before they wanted to start. They let me know the day before. The project manager didn't respond to my text, calls and emails after the job started. I had to call the office and talk to someone. I did find out that he was sick and while I understand why he was not able to contact me back, the office should have kept in contact with me. 2. The project manager gave me a price per square foot and told me to choose the carpet and vinyl from where ever I wanted to and they would take care of the rest. I gave them all of the information and a week before they told me that the flooring was going to be installed, they told me that they could not order that flooring for me. So I had to meet them to pick out more carpet and vinyl. Therefore, I had to wait another couple of weeks. The carpet that was installed was not the same grade and name brand that I originally chose. It was the same pattern. The vinyl installed was the same one I picked out. 3. The employee who was doing most of the work would tell me he did work and I know that he did not. Example: The base board in my living room was supposed to be painted before the new carpet was installed and it was not. There are two spots where I removed the phone jack boxes after I painted them when I first moved in. The two spots were still there. After showing him that it was not done, it was taken off the bill. After that, I started checking everything. If I noticed something that was not done, I took it off the bill. They overcharged me for the vinyl, which I deducted. I use to work for a flooring company so I understand how vinyl is installed. The vinyl installer told me how many square feet were given to him and they charged me for what was on the insurance estimate. They did not get the recommended amount the insurance company had on the estimate. 4.They would add fees to an estimate they gave me. 5. They did not tell the installers of the carpet and vinyl that the house was occupied and that they had to move furniture around. It took 2 days for the vinyl installer to finish the job. He tried to fix a spot that needed to be floated and instead he nailed down some wood and you can see that wood through the vinyl. The seam is coming apart. I have a rug over it to keep it in place. 6. Now, my grout is cracking in my foyer. I asked the owner to please come out after hours and he said he was unable to. I asked him to come out on a weekend and I have not heard anything. In this business sometimes after hours is the only time a homeowner can meet with a contractor. It is not my fault that the grout is cracking and they need to make a point of fixing the problem. 7. They just took the estimate that the insurance gave me and copied it right over into their bill for me. They charged me to a cleaning crew and a cleaning technician. They may have cleaned up after themselves once or twice over the 2 1/2 months they worked on my house. I cleaned up after them every day they were there. If my grammar is wrong, I apologize. I am upset at the results and the time it is taking them to fix my current issues. Updated: 9/22/14-The contractor they sent to my house was very helpful. He explained why the grout was cracking and explained what he could do to fix it. The vinyl (#5-nailed down wood) was not so easy to fix. *8-The grout was cracking due to installation. He popped up the tile and replaced it. It looks and seems to be good now. *9-The vinyl seam is fixed and looks good. I was told that I would have to have new vinyl in order for the spot with the wood to be fixed.
Description of Work: I had a sewer water come up from my downstairs toilet and they installed the rest of the wall, all the flooring downstairs, painted, and molding.

It went very well - they were very detailed and careful about not making a big mess. They worked around my schedule and needs. They were very responsive to any concerns I had and went the extra mile to make things even better than they were before the leak. I really appreciated their professionalism and work - they stayed within the cost estimate provided by the insurance adjuster. I would definitely use them again if the need arose.
Description of Work: Restoration services after water pipes leaked in the downstairs of my house. They did mold removal, restored ceilings and walls, repainted everything, and put everything back to normal.
